Samantha and Blake are finding that which is broken isn’t always so. Samantha thought that all was right with the world until it came crashing down spectacularly all around her. She had a husband who loved her, their two beautiful girls, and a life she thought they both cherished, but it turned out that was not the full story. After her husband’s unexpected death her word was rocked even further when she learned of his secret life. A whole other life that included a wife and family. Crushed and betrayed she is left to lick her wounds and mourn while trying to move on with her girls. When the brother of Eric’s second wife Hailey, Blake, comes in search of answers he finds her just as much a victim but admires her strength. Blake cannot help lean on Samantha and in turn let her lean on him as they navigate this difficult situation. Neither party asked for this, but here they stand and as they try to figure out a way to deal, they find that through each other they find comfort.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book
Ever since reading Perfect Love Story I have wanted to get my hands on Samantha’s story because while we got Hailey’s side of the story, we never really thought of what was going through her mind when she discovered her husband’s infidelity. Although my heart broke for Hailey, nothing can compare to how much I felt for Samantha. Like Hailey she had no clue why he did what he did, but unlike Hailey she had two children to raise and her in-laws who thought they knew what was best for her family.
Broken Love Story by Natasha Madison is just that…a story about two broken souls who find each other in an unconventional way… Samantha is still trying to pick up the pieces after her husband’s unexpected death that revealed he had a few unforgivable secrets up his sleeves. Now she’s just trying to move on and raise their two daughters on her own. Oh and let’s not forget her annoying in-laws. Blake found the love of his life at 15 and 5 years later her lost her to cancer. Even though he promised her he would fall in love again, he refused to open his heart again, but that all changed the moment he met Samantha. Together their broken hearts begin to heal, but are they willing to risk it all for love?
Samantha and Blake’s broken souls are meant for each other and I have got to say that I freaking loved every moment of their story. I thought the first two books in the Love series made me feel, but that is nothing compared to how I felt while reading Broken Love Story. Oh my goodness this story gave me ALL THE FEELS from start to finish! The author has once again exceeded every one of my expectations and captivate my heart with her brilliant one of a kind storytelling! I cannot wait to see what Natasha Madison come up with next!
Omg, I cried throughout this story. I loved this one so much. Blake is amazing and perfect for Samantha and her girls. There is a BIG shock thrown in there, but it was amazing. I definitely recommend this series.
Broken Love Story by Natasha Madison is the third book in the interconnected love series. Each book can be read as a stand-a-lone, as they tell the story of different couples, but I would recommend you read books one and two in the series.
This is the story of Blake and Samantha. The story begins with what happened to Blake’s sister, Hailey from his point of view. As Blake begins to help Hailey, he meets Samantha. Blake is drawn to Samantha and I do not want to give too much of the story away, but this book takes you through all of the emotions – laughter, anger, heartbreak, grief and love. It is the story of two broken souls who find each other. “I can’t love anyone. I’m broken,” “What if you find someone who is just as broken as you are and together you’re whole”.
I absolutely loved all the books in the series and each story outdid the other.
I am sad that the series is over, as I want more from these wonderful characters. I hope that Ms. Madison will re-visit all three couples in a future novella or story.
I am not ready for this series to end! I have loved every book in this series, but I feel like I have waited for this story FOREVER! I hate spoilers, so I will not go into anything to give away the best parts of the story. Both of these broken people start an unusual friendship and it’s so beautiful. Blake and Samantha’s story is probably one of my top books in 2018. Do not miss this book or this amazing series!! FIVE HUGE STARS!
Broken Love Story by Natasha Madison has to be my all time favorite read by her, and that is saying a lot! Madison always captivates me with her characters and storyline. But Broken Love Story goes above and beyond. The feels are so tangible, that as a reader, you become completely immersed in the storyline.
I truly wonder how she would bring this story to fruition, and man did she nail.
You have Samantha who has not only faced an incredible loss, but the ultimate betrayal by a man she loved.
And you have Blake, a man who gave his heart away years ago and has never been able to move past the pain.
Samantha and Blake’s worlds collide, and through a slow agonizing burn, they both start to wonder if they can love again and heal their broken pieces.
5 Huge Stars!!!
