She’s closed her heart to protect her family. Can he open it back up to let love bloom?“I didn’t think it was going to be possible for this series to get even better, and yet I have fallen even harder for all these teenagers…” – Amazon reviewerTANE: Harper wants me. I can feel it every time she looks my way.Her lips tell me I’m the guy for her. Our attraction is irresistible. Magnetic. But she’s … attraction is irresistible. Magnetic.
But she’s fighting it.
She’s pushing me away at every turn. All I want to do is help her heal.
Why does she have to be so stubborn?
Why does she want to do this all on her own when I’m here to make things better?
I can’t quit on her.
I’m not going to let her keep hurting herself this way.
I don’t care what it takes. I’m winning Harper’s heart, because my heart won’t let me do anything else.

This is the second book in this series. It is highly recommended that you read the first one before reading this one as you get the characters history in the first one. This one explores the relationship between Harper and Tane. I once again got sucked in this world just like I did in the first book. In this one we get different points of views from characters that were in the first book which made this book enjoyable for me. I absolutely loved getting other characters points of views when it came to this storyline. Again there is heartbreak in this not. Not as much emotion but still enough to make it a wonderful book. I absolutely loved how Jordan writes her storylines and has you feeling what the characters are feeling. It was very interesting to see how these 5 teens dealt with their grief. She wrote it very realistic which makes the book and feelings more relatable to the person reading it. I cant wait to read the next one.
If you think the first book broke you, then this one will destroy you. Everyone was at a crossroads at the end of the first book and in this book everything is changing is changing football involved. I’m excited to see what’s next for this series.
Broken girl, you think that’s the character but it’s really the reader. This author’s story will break you if you’re a sook like me. The story certainly gave me the feels, the tears and tight chest as my heart broke with her. It’s not just a teen romance, it’s so much more. Watching these young orphans trying to cope, you know something has to give. This is my fave in the series so far. You will need to read book 1 to see their growth.
This series is an exquisite exploration of teen angst, heart-wrenching misery, and the sensational experience of an all-encompassing first love. I adored the first in this series and this instalment continued to impress me. This is a beautiful continuation of the story, with some emphasis on the development of different characters, and the uniqueness of each character is absolutely wonderful. Can not praise this book or the series highly enough.
Harper is fighting her feelings for Tane but he so sweet and supportive that it’s been difficult. But she must stay strong for her siblings. But when everybody forget about her birthday she is so sad that she can’t hide her feelings. Stacey and Bianca are trying to stick together but Bianca can’t connect with her sister’s friends. Oscar I saw always mad. Can they really bond together and act as a family with al, the pain they all carry around? A powerful, heartwarming story.
Harper’s story is heartbreaking, but I love how everyone pulls together to help her through the rough times. I’m really enjoying The Forever Love series! The stories are well-written and the characters are wonderful.
I loved the sneak peek of the next book, Shy Girl vs Popular Boy. I can’t wait for Cam and Bianca’s story!!
Broken Girl vs Fix-It Boy is the second book in the Forever Love series, and is a continuation from their first book.
Written mainly from Harper and Tane’s point of view, but also with some from Bianca, this book details the struggles Harper is facing, with how her grief is affecting her ways the others don’t really see as they are too busy trying to sort out their own feelings. Tane and Harper’s road is definitely a bumpy one but I am hoping they will work things out together. As for Bianca, I really can’t wait for her story. I’m still not a big fan of Stacy, but I can see she is trying. She just needs to realise (which I think she has at the end of this book) that Bianca is a different person. I also can’t wait for Stacy to open her eyes, but that’s another story.
This is a touching, emotional book that is excellently written as expected, with no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading. An excellent addition to the series that will definitely leave you wanting more. Highly recommended by me.

Broken Girl VS Fix-It Boy (Forever Love #2) is the second book in this series, book one gives you there history and book two continues to explore relationships. I absolutely love this series and so far this one is even more lovable than book one. The writing is exceptional and the characters are highly compelling. One of the best ya reads. Looking forward to reading the next novel in this highly addictive series. A beautiful story that will capture your heart. This is very high on my love list for Jordan Ford books. I absolutely love everything she writes, but this story has a different vibe and is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend reading this series.
After reading book 1 I couldn’t wait to see how the story continues in Broken Girl vs Fix-It Boy. This series follows a group of teenagers from two different families who lost their parents and end up at the same house with their “uncle” Beck who has lost a lot as well. It’s a story about healing and hope. It’s amazing following these characters along and I really liked this sequel.
Broken Girl vs Fix-It Boy continues the story form book and the romance of Tane and Harper. While book 1 ended on a hopeful note, it was clear this wasn’t the last of their romance and in this book that continues. Where in book 1 we had Stacey’s point of view as well in this book we get Bianca’s point of view, she’s Stacey’s twin and they are totally different. I really liked Bianca, I can relate to her character more than Stacey and I liked the potential romance that pops-up for her.
This book again has some heartbreak, although it’s less emotional than book 1, it still has these heartbreaking scenes and also some sweet uplifting ones. It was interesting to see how these 5 teenager all deal different with their grief. It really illustrates well how everyone is different and how we all have our own ways of coping and seeing all those different methods in one book was great. It also felt very realistic which I liked.
This book shows them all trying to move on with their lives and starting a new school while still struggling with the pain of losing their parents. Stacey is determined to get Bianca back to new Zealand and tries to get her to fit in with her friends. meanwhile Bianca doesn’t feel like she fits in, but slowly finds her own way. I liked the new friend she made and the hint of romance for her. Then there’s Willow who still isn’t speaking much and it’s hard to figure out how she’s doing, but she does show some pieces in this book. Oscar has his own struggles and only later in the book we realize what’s going on with him and it’s so sad.
This book is a lot about deepening and developing relationships. I like how Tane grows closer to the other characters. There is this very sweet scene between him and Bianca and it’s fun to see them become family. Then ofcourse there is his blossoming romance with Harper. And it’s also great to see Beck step up to the caretaker role. There’s some great scenes with beck and Harper. I also liked seeing how Beck was there for Oscar. And there’s also a fun scene with Beck and Bianca. Harper is trying her best to take care of her siblings and the others. She’s pushed into the caretaker role as well and struggles with the responsibility and having her own dreams pushed to the background.
These characters are slowly growing into a family unit and I loved seeing that. I also liked seeing Bianca and Stacey interact and having had Stacey’s point of view in book 1 and now Bianca’s point of view I feel like we have a decent feel for both characters. It’s fun to see how they have each other’s back, but also don’t agree on everything.
I like the romance between Tane and Harper and while it’s still slow building, I like how Tane doesn’t give up on Harper. And Harper tries to be so strong and I loved seeing her realize that asking for help isn’t weak and how it can make you stronger. I did feel at times that Tane was the driving force in their romance, he kept proving her how much he cared for her. I loved that about him, but I would’ve liked to see Harper do more for him as well. But maybe we’ll get that in book 3. As I still feel like there’s more to their story.
I like how this series shows the stories of all the characters in this house. It’s like this big family where all the characters come alive and have their own stories. And I like seeing everyone change and develop. And how we get a feel even for the characters whose point of views we don’t get (yet) as well. Even Beck, Oscar and Willow have their own personalities and we get a feel for what they’re going through, although to a lesser extend than the ones whose point of view we get. In this book there’s the slow introduction of Bianca’s romance and I think we’ll see more of that in book 3. I am already guessing who the other characters will end up with.
The farm makes such a great backdrop for the whole story and I also like how it’s set in New Zealand. Besides the big loss the characters have to deal with this book also has some other things going on like most characters starting a new year at school and trying to find their place. It also touches upon a bunch of difficult topics, but most of all still has this hopeful vibe as well. Everything does fall apart, but also comes together again. I also liked the inclusion of the love languages thing and how it gives Tane an insight on how to show Harper his love.
To summarize: This was a solid sequel. I love following this group of characters along. It’s interesting to see them all have their own methods to deal with their grief and loss. It’s very realistic. This book is less emotional than book 1, but still deals with the aftermath of the loss and how everyone is coping. It’s sad at times, but also hopeful and I like seeing these character slowly grow into family. I liked seeing Harper and Tane’s romance continue in this book. And I liked gettign Bianca’s point of view, I liked her and can’t wait to see how her romance plays out. There are so many great things about this series and I can’t wait to see how it continues.
This is another great story in this series. We can see a little more of these six teenagers as they become family and learn to live together.
Tane and Harper’s encounters and mismatches continue. She keeps trying to avoid getting involved with him while he does his best to show that a relationship between them is worthwhile, but at the same time gives her the space she needs.
Meanwhile, Stacey and Jonas are still together and she gets closer to his friends, always trying to get Bianca to participate in everything, but Jonas’ friends aren’t the kind Bianca likes, so she would rather spend her time alone than having to spend with them.
But Bianca doesn’t go unnoticed, when Cam sees her on the first day of school, things can get very interesting for them. I’m anxious to read their story.
Willow keeps saying very little and I hope we can read more about her throughout the series.
And Oscar, after facing some problems at school, seems to be beginning to adapt to his new reality.
This story has moments of joy and several moments that left me with tears in my eyes, but it’s very well written and the characters are fascinating. We keep cheering for them every minute of this reading.
Im anxious for more books in this series. I highly recommend the reading.
