A new office romance standalone…Two things I love are the company I built from the ground up and women, and not particularly in that order. When I see something I want, I get it, whether it’s a new client or a wild night in the sack.Women flock to my stock, and ladies, that’s not all they enjoy.I’m not labeled as one of Denver’s top playboys for nothing.I’m damn good-looking, my pockets are … for nothing.
I’m damn good-looking, my pockets are deep, and my “endowments” leave women begging for more.
Two rules I live by:
* Don’t mix business with pleasure.
* Never, ever date an employee.
I thought I had it all in check until Zoey Campbell started working for me.
All my rules? Disintegrated.
Because rules are meant to be broken.
And great sex is meant to be had.
Easton Langley is a manwhore.
I knew his reputation before I applied for the job.
But none of the rumors about him mattered because my focus was on my career.
And I’m smart enough not to fall for his sexy charm.
Or so I thought.
He’s so insanely good-looking and smooth with his words, I can’t help but be distracted whenever he’s around.
Fantasizing about the boss is inappropriate.
Sleeping with him would be crossing the line.
One night. That’s all it took.
And going back to the way it was isn’t an option.
The worst part about it?
I’ve fallen for him.
When a late night in the office shatters every rule, Easton and Zoey find themselves breaking all the boundaries.

Broken Boundaries by T.C. Matson a five-star read that will break you. This is the first book in the Debonair series and what a kick off to the series, I knew that T.C. Matson wrote good fighting men, but she writes men in suits that will melt everything about you, Easton Langley was a man who you could see on the outside was a man who liked to work hard and play harder, and never get burned by anyone but as we get deeper into his story we start to understand why he is like that, why he doesn’t want to play with fire. He has his rules and they work for him. They also work for his new assistant Zoey Campbell she knows his rep and no matter how hard he try’s she won’t allow him to break her, will she?
This was a great story, well written and although there was steam and raunch there was also some true feeling, and some romance that would melt even the coldest hearts. The secondary characters were great as well, Max was one I definitely liked and Zachary sounds like he has plenty of drama to regale us with. Britany was a bestie I wanted to have pizza Tuesday with and have a gossip while watching lifetime movies. This had everything you need in a great story.
Zoey finally moved up to a a better job.. working for Easton is going to be different. She believes in hard and work and not breaking the rules and when she meets Easton things start to change.
Easton is a ladies man and hard working. When he needs secretary he gets Zoey. As he start to get feelings for her he tries to hide it because he has been burnt really bad before. Will they be able to get past his past and her insecuritys or will they lose what they have? This book is amazing office romance that tries not to blur the lines. Zoey and Easton are amazing characters loved from beginning to end. It will make you laugh and want to cry. Can’t wait to read more from her.
I loved this book! Couldn’t wait to see what happened on the next page. You can’t help but hope they get their happy ending and cheer them on.
Great story
I very seldom read books that does not have any previous reviews but I’m very glad I took a chance on this one. It’s a very good read!
Enjoyed the romance.
Stop what you’re doing and grab this book!
Wow! This was my first read by this author and I can tell it won’t be my last. When Zoey comes to work for Easton, an extremely hot alpha male, you just know sparks will fly, and boy, do they! Easton has a reputation as a ladies man and Zoey knows it’s a bad idea to get together with her boss. And it’s not for lack of Easton trying! But Zoey holds back. She doesn’t want to jeopardize her job, but Easton is relentless. Can he break down her barriers? Can he change his playboy ways? The interactions between these characters was at times funny, frustrating, sizzling and even loving. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more by this author!
There is so much to love and enjoy with this book! First, I love that the author doesn’t go with convential names, its refreshing and adds a layer of intrigue to the characters. Easton is a man who is more than his past, regardless of what is said around him. He works harder than anyone, and has closed himself off to love. A little tumble in the jumble of life is what he’s after. His life is easier that way he thinks.
Zoey has a sweet, shy and tender side that adds to her sassy side. She too has been working hard, and living a more quiet life. She is determined to do things her way and work her way up in her career. She only gives time to her bff and neighbor when the time is needed for a girls night out. Life is easier that way she thinks.
The two of them clash, literally on numerous occasions and as they build their working relationship, they are fighting their attraction. Thrown into the midst of it all, they have to battle away, detour a few roads and dodge spectators in order to figure out how to make everything work.
LOVED their chemistry, their personalities were so different yet complimentary to each other. For me, the way they expressed themselves was so refreshing and not cliche. There are moments of pure humor, an unabashedly display of pick up lines and a heck of a lot of steam! Fabulous book, sexy characters, LOVED it!
Not my cup of tea. Had promise but some of the internal dialogue of the main character was ride with slut shaming.
Zoey and Easton are blurring the lines and it feels so good. Zoey knew one thing growing up, while she respected her hardworking parents, she wanted more out of life than could be found in a tiny town in Nebraska. She risked a lot by upping stakes and moving to Denver after securing a part time secretarial job at Langley Security but it’s paying off now that she’s been promoted to be none other than Easton Langley’s secretary. She is going knock his socks off and try her hardest to ignore his devilishly charms and outrageous good looks. Easton is wealthy, handsome, and single. The world is his oyster and he likes to shuck it. One place he doesn’t he doesn’t let his appetite spillover is the workplace, but his new secretary is making that very difficult. Zoey doesn’t seem to know just how delectable she is and he wants to show her in every conceivable way. Rules Schmules.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.
Wow, Y’all. Broken Boundaries is just WOW!!! I learned of T.C. Matson from social media. I’ve not previously read T.C.’s work but I am not going to lie, I am a cover whore and this cover is pretty dang awesome. So then I read the blurb and I requested to review this book through my blog…Spellbound Stories. I was just blown away. The story sucked me in from the get go. Easton Langley is a dirty talking manwhore and once he sets his sights on Zoey Campbell, well…Readers should really prepare themselves because this book is sure to get you hot! It’s a slow burn, but DANG! I’d be very surprised to see someone who rates this book below a 4 or 5 star read. It’s well written, has a great pace and fun plot. The characters, both the primary and secondary, are very realistic and easy to connect with. It’s told in duel POV so readers will fall in love with Easton as their next book boyfriend…I certainly did! I am pretty fickle but he is a mass of contradictions that were both surprising and exceedingly sexy. If you haven’t read T.C. Matson, you REALLY need Broken Boundaries in your life…I am sure it will compel you to read anything in the author’s back stock and stalk her on social media as I am now doing!
Easton Langley sure got my blood pumping let me tell ya! I wish I was Zoey. Perfect mix of great banter and teasing back and forth and the steamy hotness. The secondary characters were also a great addition and I’m looking forward to reading more on them. Very well written and I loved the dual point of view. This was a really great read and I highly recommend it.
This is one of those books you don’t want to put down to sleep cause you might miss something. Zoey worked her butt off to be the assistant to the gorgeous owner Easton but she refuses to be unprofessional in any way and lose her job. Easton is a playboy but something about Zoey makes him want to be a better man and date but Zoey isn’t going for it even though she would love to. Zoey and Easton are a perfect match but they both have preconceived ideas of what the other is like and this book was the story of them finding a different idea. Loved both of these characters and it’s a great story
