New school. New friendships. New life. Not so much.Alexandra is pissed about her parents abandoning her. She’s beyond pissed that her friends did the same. She’s enraged because things are unclear about her brother’s death now. So her first stop is at Jesse’s house to demand answers. She wants to know why her brother was friends with the criminal crowd before he died and she knows he holds the … he holds the answers. But when she sees him, she doesn’t get the answers she expected. Instead, she finds out that their chemistry never faded and soon heats up again!
Some habits die hard. Soon Jesse and Alex are back to their ways of sneaking around. He’s a near-celebrity at school and she doesn’t want to deal with the backlash of being his girlfriend. Alex is tired of being hurt so she’s learned the lesson not to confide and lean on others. However, she can’t seem to help herself when it comes to Jesse Hunt. The big question isn’t if she will survive if their relationship goes public, it’s if she will survive when the real truths about her family and brother come out? Or when she learns that Jesse knows more than what he’s told her?

This was the classic Tijan that got me hooked on her books. Teenage angst at its finest. Love the sports, college, new adult, crappy parent stories because they’re relatable and make me miss those days.
Wow! What a powerful and supremely satisfying end to a great story! I loved Alex and Jesse so much – I thought their relationship and the connection between them was very realistic and honest. I couldn’t stand Alex’s parents, and it’s sad to know that people like that truly exist in the world. Great ending to this duet… loved that epilogue!
I Love, Love, Love this series! I love Alex and Jesse they are my favourite Tijan couple.
Alex is going to Grant West University where she plans to confront Jesse with the information she found out about her brother and get the answers she really needs.
Jesse has been keeping some pretty big secret from Alex, and as much as he wants to tell Alex he just can’t but he does everything he can to find away for her to get the answers she wants.
Alex and Jesse return to the the relationship they had in book one only this time Jesse wants to take it further and become public, but Alex doesn’t think she can handle everything that would come with that due to Jesse’s God like status.
Alex and Jesse have such strong chemistry and a strong connection, nobody else know them like they know each other. They have both been through so much and they are stronger together, they need each other. The love they have is something that can’t be broken and no one can come between them.
Such and amazing book! I love this series, I wish there were more. I love that Tijan has you feeling what the characters feel, you go through the good and the bad with them.
Pain, Love, Friendships & Healing!!
Broken and Screwed: BS #2
Still filled with her rage Alex arrives at College & goes to confront Jesse. He’s not available & things simmer. Alex settles in & makes a couple of friends, they’re as broken as she is, they all understand each other & except one another for it!!
As time goes on she & Jesse connect continually & consistently. Her Parents make another appearance – her Dad is a pr*ck!! I completely loathe him Ethan’s secrets finally surface & explode over them Alex is a survivor
A painful & explosive read.

I’m a huge fan of anything Tijan writes, but I have to say this one really was a top favorite for me! It brought out so many emotions in me and she writes in a way that you feel like you actually know these characters, which makes it so much harder for me when I finish the books because I don’t want it to end!
I highly recommend this book, seriously, go read it! You will not regret it!!
I enjoyed part two more than part 1. There is so much that went on with Ethan before his death that Alex wasn’t aware of due to her parents and Jesse keeping the secret from her. Alex finally gets to confront her parents and we learn how bad her situation was. This story filled me with incredible sadness but in the end it will left me refreshed and happy.
I loved this book just wish there was an epilogue.
