I’m broken. He’s broken. We are broken. But sometimes you have to shatter to pick up the pieces. To start over.To overcome our enemies. And find out if we can love again. He’s my anchor, but can our love be repaired? This is the final book in the Sinful Truths series.
It’s bittersweet reaching the conclusion of this series. There have been a lot of twists and turns getting here along with more than a few spins on an emotional roller-coaster. Too many? Maybe. For me, I would have preferred a couple fewer twists, turns, and double-crosses. I loved seeing Zeke finally get his happy ending. And I enjoyed seeing my favorite members of the Black empire again. Though, stressing me out with the fates of Enzo, Kai, and Langston was not nice at all.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
This is the final book in the Sinful Truths series and picks up where book five left off. The author once again delivers an action packed story with tons of suspense and twists along the way. It’s a dark romance that had me on the edge right to the end. She answers a few questions yet leaves you hanging with some new ones .. possibly a new series? I loved this book/series and am looking forward to a new one!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
“The truth broke us. Live destroyed us. Sin saved us.”
The final book in this series does not disappoint. It has just as many twists and turns that the others have with the exception Siren and Zeke finally get their happily ever after.
Omg!! So amazing. Way better than five stars. Ella Miles has done it again. A Captivating story that was full of action and suspense. Interesting characters who were well written. This is a definite must read book!!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Everything I want and more!
“Broken Anchor” is the last book in the Sinful Truths series and it does not disappoint!
Truths are revealed and questions answered. Broken Anchor is an adrenaline rush of action, danger, deception and sizzling chemistry. This is a can’t – miss – ending that will leave you breathless and waiting for the next series. OMG! I love Ella Miles work!!!

GIRD YOUR LOINS ADRENALINE JUNKIES **4.25 stars**
“How far am I willing to go for love? Too far. How much am I willing to break? All the way.”
This heart-pounding finale to the Sinful Truths series is bona fide hair-raising adrenaline rush with a blowout ending, in which Ella pulls out all the stops with a number of “did she really go there?!” moments. She writes terrific escapist, adventure/action/romance with enough erotic scenes to keep you squirming and testosterone-laced alpha standoffs to make your eyes pop. I still love Zeke best!
The tradition of this series continues with a springboard into another possible spinoff – bring it on! – and an ending that will leave you exhausted and sated. It’s always sad to end one of Ella’s series, but still left with excitement for the next one to come.
“In a game of truth or sin, we all chose sin. The truth broke us. Sin saved us.”
If you have been following along in Ella Miles Sinful Truth Series, then you’ll need to read this 6th and final book in Zeke and Siren’s story…it will knock you for a loop! This is NOT a standalone, the previous books need to be read before this one to understand everything that has happened so far, which is ALOT!!!
Never expect ordinary or easy in a mafia oriented romance like this one. Dramatic scenes, violence and criminal craziness are always just a heartbeat away…this is what you can expect to find between the pages of Broken Anchor, along with great characters to either love or hate…
This suspense filled book will keep you guessing with its many wild twists and unbelievable turns, from land to sea and even from the sky. It’s hard to tell who are the bad guys to avoid or the people you should trust with your life. Pay attention to the details or you might blink and miss an important plotline!
All I can say without letting any spoilers ruin your reading experience is… this is another one of Ella Miles over the top, edgey romances that ends with a bang. Sin or Truth???
An early version of this book was given in exchange for my honest review.
Broken Anchor,Book 6 and final book of the Sinful Truths series. Siren and Zeke face the final challenges, pain, tests and joys to find their happily ever after. Plenty of twists, turns, angst and questions answered in this final story. Friendship versus betrayal to protect loved ones is a major theme.
Great, edge of your seat series. Most questions answered but new ones are left for the final(?) series of Langston and Leisel’s story which will start in Fall 2020!
I loved this whole series but I was hesitant to read Broken Anchor after the ending in Fallen Love. I was worried I wouldn’t like how it ended up but I’m so glad to say it went a different way and I LOVED Broken Anchor! Zeke has always been my favorite and he deserved a happy ending after all the crap he had to go through. It was really enjoyable to have so much of Kai and Enzo in this book, they all deserve to be together, like the family they are. I highly recommend this series if you like suspenseful dark romances. They are expertly written and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Plenty of heat to keep it exciting too!
Voluntary review of an ARC
Fabulous conclusion!
The sixth and final book in the Sinful Truths series and boy was it worth the wait! Siren and Zeke are back as are almost the entire family. Langston makes a powerful return and I just cannot wait for his series!!
I read a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.
This is the 6th and final book in the “Sinful Truths” series and what a page turner this book turned out to be! The twists and turns and Siren and Zeke kept me totally captivated as each and every page was turned until the very end!
What an incredible finale to another wonderful series! There are so many ups and downs, twists and turns, I was turned upside down trying to figure out what the truth was! Oh, the lies, lies, and more lies, but the purpose of the lying is to get to the truth! Filled with heartbreak, Zeke and Siren will finally reach their well-deserved happiness, but at what cost? And is Langston really Bishop, is he friend or foe? When you think you have him figured out, he does a complete turnaround! I can’t wait for the next seri, which will be Langston and Liesel’s story.
Broken Anchor is the sixth and final book in the Sinful Truths series by Ella Miles and picks up where book five left off. This action-packed, edge of your seat, well told story has plenty of betrayal, lies, suspense, mystery, and so many emotions. A unique and intense story.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
What an amazing series !!! This is the final book of the series and I highly recommend you read them all. The story line is fantastic, gripping, romantic, story of love and family and fighting for the good. I read this book in one sitting as I did each of the books of this series, as once you start it you do not want to put it down. This is a series you will want to read again!!! Thank you Ella for such amazing stories.
Broken Anchor is the final book in Siren and Zeke’s story. What an ending!!! This series has had everything, steamy scenes, action, twists, turns and total surprises! I loved every word of it. Langston needs his own story now. I have soooo many questions!!!!
Zeke And Siren’s Story Centers Around Destroying The Box And Their Enemies To Get The Elusive HEA They Desperately Hope For! Trigger Warning.
Trigger warning: sensitive readers may find some material in this book objectionable.
This is the sixth and final book of the Sinful Truths series, which is a spin-off of the Truth or Lies series. It picks up where book five leaves off, and is best read in series. There are many hidden truths. Most are revealed here, while a few questions arise even as the series ends, leading to yet another spin-off. This book pulls things together and provides a happy ending. The series is very complicated to follow, but a refresher follows.
Siren, a.k.a. Aria Torres, now thirty-three, made a vow eight years ago to Jullian Reed, the drug lord who runs things on St. Kitts and beyond. He is working towards expanding his territory; in book one, he dipped into human trafficking. Siren is tied to him, but she hates him. She hates all men. They have all disappointed her. She works for herself, no matter what Julian thinks. But she must follow his orders and she can never lie. She lures bad men into her trap for Julian, who gains from their demise. She didn’t want to deliver the dying man to Julian, but she had no other options. As much as she hoped he was different than the other men, she would never be free to be with him.
Zeke Kane, close in age to Siren, works for the infamous Mr. Black. They are more like family, and Zeke will stop at nothing to protect his family. His immense size and physical strength make him a formidable opponent. Yet for those he loves, he is selfless and sweet. He was rescued from bleeding out from a gunshot wound and drowning in the depths of the Caribbean by a beautiful woman with the voice of an angel. Siren, he called her. He was instantly drawn to her like no other. But her motives weren’t altruistic. He had been willing to lay down his life for her but was cruelly betrayed and found himself Julian’s prisoner instead.
In book two, Julian wants Mr. Black’s location, but after Aria’s exhaustive efforts to get Zeke to talk, Julian offers Zeke an alternative. Five rounds of truth or sin, similar to truth or dare. Julian adds the caveat that failure will result in Aria’s death. Keeping his truths to himself, Zeke opts for sin in his first round. Meanwhile, Zeke and Siren struggle with their attraction as they find themselves on opposing sides.
In the third book, Zeke discovers Siren is married and he shutters his heart. Meanwhile, Julian announces that for the next round of sin or truth, since Zeke no longer loves Siren, he will kill Lucy if Zeke fails. Lucy is an innocent from Zeke’s youth that his best friends know nothing of, so he needs to know the source of the information. Julian wants something of equal value, so he gives Zeke less than a week to steal one billion dollars and deposit it into his account. This is too easily accomplished via Hugo’s conveniently uber-wealthy parents.
To prove herself to Zeke, Siren agrees to divorce Hugo. Hugo follows through on a clause in their agreement allowing him to sell her in case of divorce. She ends up sold to a horrible man named Bishop. Zeke’s price for purchasing her freedom is every last penny he owns, which he doesn’t hesitate to pay. Siren, however, immediately pushes him away and the truth of what she suffered remains unknown.
Book four begins by first stepping back one week in time to Siren’s captivity. Bishop wants to control her mind, so that even in freedom she thinks of him. He once loved, and suggests if she loves him (Zeke is not named), she should push him away or else she will destroy him. Siren later struggles with this as Zeke seeks to earn her trust and finally bring down the walls that separate them. They address the subject of Lucy as Zeke introduces her and Siren learns more about Zeke’s past. Julian eventually calls Zeke in for another round of their game. He chooses sin and is required to deliver Mr. Black’s yacht. Enzo Black and Kai thus enter the story and meet Siren. Zeke and Siren envision a future together after the danger they now face passes, and Siren agrees to marry Zeke.
Julian captures Lucy, Kai, and Siren and forces Zeke to choose which one of the three women whom he loves to be saved. He chooses Kai, a mother, as Lucy is dying and Siren has repeatedly told him not to save her from Julian. Kai is returned to Enzo. Zeke races to catch up with Julian but is captured by an unknown woman. Meanwhile, Siren is in a faraway place and agrees to whatever Julian wants in exchange for allowing Lucy’s last moments to be peaceful.
Book five opens with Siren and Zeke each in captivity, brutally violated and beaten – Siren by Julian and Zeke by Palmer. Palmer is Lucy’s former lover who suddenly shows up on the island and blames Zeke for Lucy’s disappearance. Julian and Bishop are working together and bicker over who gets Siren first. Julian wins, claiming he is in charge. But when Bishop gets her, he claims to be in charge and is only interested in her mind. Siren negotiates her freedom from Bishop by promising him a horrible task. Bishop still insists no love is unbreakable but Siren refuses to believe him.
With Enzo’s help, Siren retrieves Zeke and all return to Mr. Black’s yacht. Zeke and Siren are both so damaged, however, that their future together is uncertain. They have a lot of pain, both physical and emotional, to work through. But Siren made a promise to Bishop that promises to shatter whatever pieces she and Zeke have managed to piece back together.
The final book has the various players trying to locate Lucy’s box that contains the cancer virus and associated cure. It represents the power to pick and choose who lives and who dies. This has been Julian and his financier’s target all along, and Bishop has teamed up with Julian in this effort as well, as they have many similar interests and it benefits them to work together. Zeke, Siren, Enzo, and Kai are hoping to reach the box first and destroy it.
As the story opens, to save Siren, Zeke has just shot Enzo as ordered by Julian. Enzo manages to go overboard and Kai follows after him. Zeke leaves Siren behind on Enzo’s yacht with his friend Langston, who unbeknownst to Zeke, is also Bishop. Siren, pregnant with Zeke’s baby, has learned that the dreaded and mind-controlling Bishop is Zeke’s good friend. And Zeke agrees to take Julian to Alaska in search of the sought after box with the cancer virus, knowing he will likely never see Siren again.
Alone with Langston/Bishop, Siren struggles to determine if she is dealing with Langston, Zeke’s good friend, or Bishop, a dark version of the man that evolved following excruciating heartbreak (presumably from Liesel). She notes that he hadn’t hurt her physically and seems to mask his goodness, but he warns her he is not a good man. As truths unravel, his motives remain hazy.
The truths that are revealed are shocking and the action will keep you at the edge of your seat. As usual, things get tense and violent. And Zeke and Siren have great chemistry even in the midst of it all.
Zeke and Siren’s story in Broken Anchor centers around destroying the box and their enemies so that they can get the elusive HEA they desperately hope for. The couple put behind any doubts about one another in book five when they were married. They are expectant parents now, so their lives will soon need stability. Zeke is paired with Julian, Siren with Bishop. Zeke, ever the protector, has more to worry about here as Siren is pregnant. He can’t protect her when they are separated, and for the first time Siren needs to sit out of the fighting. They get caught up in the power stuggle between Julian and Bishop, which tests their strength.
There are some issues which merit mention. **Spoilers** First, coincidence plays perhaps too large a role. Second, there is a considerable amount of memory loss, some manipulated and some blocked reflexively, but taken altogether it feels too convenient. Third, Julian knew all along that Siren’s memories needed to be recovered so it is unclear what his intentions were when he tried to take Zeke to Alaska and later when he takes Zeke again. The explanation is fuzzy. Fourth, it is unclear why Julian would make a deal on the box in exchange for Zeke when he already knows Siren has relevant buried memories. Fifth, Langston gives a long history of Siren and the box, but it is unclear how he pieced it all together. Sixth, it is unclear why Bishop had Siren make a pass at his friend Enzo in book five, and unclear why nobody questions it once his identity is known here. Seventh, the idea of killing someone Siren loves is extreme and not guaranteed to get results. Eighth, it would have been easy to take out Julian and his men when they were on Langston’s turf. Ninth, the motivations of Siren’s parents were contradictory. Tenth, Langston mysteriously knows the hidden location of the box and shares it with Zeke near the end. Eleventh, Julian’s strange and mysterious affection for Siren is never fully explained although even more questions arise during this final book. Finally, the many coincidences feel almost incestuous, and the choices are often unnecessarily complicated.
Zeke and Siren’s final story is a dark suspenseful romance loaded with danger and deception that will finally answer most outstanding questions. Zeke and Siren hope to find their forever but circumstances may put forever out of reach. The book is nicely written. The POV alternates between Zeke and Siren, with a cameo in Kai’s POV. The plot is very complex. The characters are well-defined. I rate this book 3.5 stars.

Wow what a fantastic heart wrenching conclusion to this captivating series. Love love love Zeke. Exceptional writing that keeps you on your toes, with a storyline full of twists and turns, betrayal allegiances and love. What more could you want or need in a dark action packed romance.
I love this series. All the problems, lies and just stubbornness finally came to an end. This was the best way to end this series. The truth was finally revealed. No one else needed to suffer anymore. The losses were great but overall the people that mattered the most were still there. I laughed, cried and got angry so many times with this book especially because it really all came together the way it is supposed to.

The BIG question to ask…. the ONLY question to ask: Is Langston friend or foe?
The next question to ponder will be: Is blood really thicker than water?
You’ll get all the answers with all the plot twists and revelations as you turn the pages. But not so fast there. Just because you find an answer, or think you’ve found the answer, just keep reading because that answer you thought you found just may be a twisted delusion.
FRUSTRATIONS:
… Julian is a joke and it makes no sense why Zeke, Siren, Kai and Enzo give him so much credence. They could take him out easily and find the person calling all the shots. After all, the head honcho called Julian a couple times … while they all were in the room … and they didn’t stay tied up for long. Get the phone and you get the source… then it’s bye, bye Julian.
… I skimmed way too much to get to the action, the real plot line, which was not the bedroom acrobatics.
OBSERVATIONS:
… This is not for the weak of heart. There are things throughout the book that can make you cringe. For me, it was all the unnecessary F bombs and bedroom gymnastics. I was interested in the real storyline and that half of the book just got in my way. So, I skimmed over those parts.
… The first series, Taken, was more action and plot. I wish this one with Zeke had followed suit.
… Siren’s loss of memory was pretty far fetched and implausible, as were several events in this story. However, this series is written to entertain, not to be real. So instead of reality based fiction, this series teases you with fantasy based fiction.
… Throughout the book, we are made to wonder about Langston. You’ll need to read this to find out if he is good or evil, but maybe he’s a little of both? I’m guessing we’ll find out a lot more this fall when his story gets told.
… In the end, Zeke’s money is on his girl . He’s loyal through and through.
The final chapter in this series and what a blockbuster it is. The first page takes you from the last book, and it’s explosive. You think one thing, then two pages later you think, no, it can’t be. It’s such an emotional book and series for that matter, the depth of Ms. Miles writing is spectacular. Lots of cameos of old friends and there is definitely more than one evil to take down. A total page turner, total mind bender, totally unbelievable the journey that I went on. It was an absolutely thrilling adventure. Don’t start it before you go to bed, otherwise you won’t get to bed! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.
