Great story
I enjoyed this book. I liked the characters. I found myself rooting for this couple, hoping they could come together and overcome their tragedies.
Funny had sexual situation without embarrassing details made you stop and think how you make quick judgement about people without knowing all the fact.
An ex-con accused of killing his baby does work for widow with baby. Suspenseful intil truth is learned.
I have not read a book with a story line like this one before which is saying something. I thought the characters were heartwarming and it was a good easy read.
Interesting characters, great story, well told.
I liked it, because it gave him a second chance in life, even though he guilty or not.
Good book, original plot. I’d recommend this book.
I like the writing of this author i bought another whole series of books
Growing up in a small town, can see where it would be difficult to adjust back in society after a prison term. Story was interesting & would recommend to others.
Shows a realistic of how hard it is to get a job and respect after prison
I hadn’t read any books by this author but the description was interesting and the book was free. Wow, this book had it all without being graphic or overdone. There is a perfect balance of tension, emotion, trust, hope and love. After reading Brody’s Redemption I immediately went out and bought the other books in the series. It was that good.
Joe was a typical small town teen, well liked with a good family, and a beautiful new baby girl. Life was good until he was accused of killing his own daughter, convicted and served ten years in prison. Returning to his home town is tough. Now known as a baby killer he struggles to find a place to give him a job. It’s even harder when he goes to work for Ashley, a beautiful young mother with a toddler of her own. With his emotions in turmoil he must decide if this is the place for him or should he move on before she finds out the details of his conviction?
Ashley grew up in a life of hard knocks, abandoned and living in an orphanage she learned the hard way that when life gives you lemons you don’t always get lemonade. She knows what rejection and loss feel like. She was rejected by family after family and lost her husband Mac, a soldier who didn’t even know about their son. Alone and struggling to turn a worn out but beautiful home into a B&B while caring for her son and Wilson, the elderly and opinionated former owner of the house she knows she needs help. No one will work for the wage she offers until Joe Brody shows up at her door. Can she trust a stranger to help her out and live in her home?
Near the end of the book the mystery of Joe’s daughter’s death is revealed. If you love emotionally charged stories that you can’t put down this is the book for you.
I enjoyed this book. It has a fresh storyline and was well written.
