Please note: This book was previously published as Dear Bridget I Want You. Only the title and cover have been changed. All other content remains the same. From the New York Times Bestselling authors of Stuck-Up Suit and Mister Moneybags, comes a new, sexy standalone novel.Dear Bridget,I’m writing this letter because it’s highly doubtful I’ll ever garner the courage to say this to your face. So, … this to your face.
So, here goes.
We’re totally wrong for each other. You’re the proper single mum with a good head on your shoulders. I’m just the carefree British doctor passing through town and temporarily living in your converted garage until I head back to England.
But here’s the thing… for some bloody reason, I can’t stop thinking about you in very inappropriate ways.
I want you.
The only reason I’m even admitting all of this to you right now is because I don’t believe it’s one-sided. I notice your eyes when you look at me, too. And as crass as I appear when we’re joking around about sex, my attraction to you is not a joke.
So, what’s the purpose of this note? I guess it’s a reminder that we’re adults, that sex is healthy and natural, and that you can find me just through the door past the kitchen. More specifically, it’s to let you know that I’m leaving said door cracked open from now on in case you’d fancy a British bedmate in the middle of the night sometime.
No questions asked.
Think about it.
Or don’t.
Whatever you choose.
It’s doubtful I’ll even end up sliding this letter under your door anyway.
–Simon

Another amazing read from this duo! Simon is a sexy, dirty talking doctor that steals your heart. Nurse Valentine is trying and failing miserably at protecting her heart. You’ll be hooked from chapter one, literally! Enjoy, a must read!
Being a single mom, I find that a lot of single parent books speak to me and make me want to read them. I’m not sure what took me so long to read this one, but I devoured it quickly. Definitely a fun, enjoyable read, and I can’t wait to see what these two authors have up their sleeve next!
Captivating from the first chapter.
The last turn of the plot prevented me from giving it a better score, but in itself it is an enjoyable and fun reading that is worth reading.
Dear Bridget…I want to be you!
“Your knickers. It’s Friday. They say Tuesday. I was wondering if you’d been wearing them for three days or just got your days of the week mixed up.”
And from that moment I was completely “hooked” on Simon.
I could almost hear the accent as I read along.
Penelope and Vi are my favorite combo. They never disappoint me and continue to crank out these characters that I adore. Each one of them stealing a piece of my heart. There was an “oh snap” moment, plenty of steam and adorable banter which is everything I love when these two authors collaborate.
“The greatest risk is not taking one.”
There is no risk involved here, just pure reading pleasure!
Dr. Simon Hogue isn’t like any other doctor you have encountered. Funny, hot, gorgeous, with a sexy British accent, a dirty mouth and well-endowed physique. Doctor McDreamy… When nurse Bridget Valentine was caught in an uncompromising predicament with her mismatched knickers, she wished she’d never see him again.
Bridget was one lucky gal, even after her husband had met his untimely death three years ago. Along with her son Braden, they’d become Simon’s objects of interest and attention, much to his surprise. The young resident doctor had no plans of committing to a relationship, but Bridget shook his world and broke his resolve.
Just when I thought the characters have finally had their happily ever after, problems continued to arise as they realized the pros and cons of living together under one roof. Man, Dr. Simon Hogue is making me think about getting sick just to be able to see him. Ha!
I loved how this story was told and how the surprises unfold one after the other. The characters weren’t perfect but that’s what made them real and genuinely endearing. The letters they sent each other was the highlight of my reading and I couldn’t help giggling at their foolish banters and quirky attitudes. Plus those erotic scenes, omg, I was rendered speechless, I couldn’t even imagine everything this couple did!
Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland never fail to amuse and surprise me. I totally love their tandem, they create unique wonderful stories that brings the readers to the edge of their seats, slapping their knees, laughing out loud, rolling on the floor and grinning like Cheshire cat.
Dear Bridget, I Want You deals with so many different issues that a couple often experience, like an older woman having a relationship with a younger man, difficulties in bearing a child, long distance relationship, parents who don’t approve of the person their son chose to be with. Amidst these all, this story has been definitely mind blowing and got me hooked right from the beginning!
I was excited to read this book based on the clever blurb and the smoking hot cover. To me it sounded like a sexy, friends-with-benefits romp. But it’s so much better than that. It is clever and it is sexy, but it’s also got feels for days! It’s the perfect blend of rom-com antics and sentimental tears (not tragedy tears) and layered characters and spot-on dialogue.
Also, most clever meet-cute ever! I found Simon charming from the start. Bridget seemed a bit contrary at first, but it became clear why she was that way and it was understandable. Her son Brendan was sweet and his character added so much to the story.
Can’t recommend it enough!
I love how these two write! I have adored every single book they’ve written! This one had me laughing allll of the time and I definitely cried some. I loved Simon and Bridget from the very beginning. I loved how they met and the instant chemistry they had. I loved how close he was with Brandan. The entire book was just so amazing!
There’s a sexy new British doctor in town! Dear Bridget, I want you had me at first hook, double fish hook with twin ends to be exact. I found myself tearing up throughout this sweet, heartwarming story.
Bridget Valentine has found herself in an uncomfortable predicament, she has a fish hook in her buttocks. If that’s not embarrassing enough her emergency room doctor, Dr. Simon Hogue, is sexy as hell.
Simon needs a temporary place to stay while he finishes his residency. He plans on returning to England after his residency and doesn’t want a lease. After a little help from a friend he finds himself once again face to face with Bridget, his new roomy.
Bridget had tragically lost her husband in a car accident. Now as a is a single mom a roommate would help with her finances. What she hadn’t expected was a very sexy younger doctor to take up residence. Although tempting Bridget can’t act on her attraction because Simon will be returning back to England after his residency. Bridget isn’t the only one fighting against her feelings, Simon also struggles with his own lose. A lose that has dictated his life.
This story is so good, it pulled on my heart strings. I was 100% emotionally invested. Bridget and Simon brought me to tears with their emotional struggle, their heartbreak and their fears. 5 Stars!!
This was a fun and sexy book to read. I loved it!
Nothing was easy for these two, except the flirtation. Denial, restraint and self-protection reigned. However, strong-minded they were, they fell hard and fast. They had their hurdles but they are actually good communicators and figured their way through to the sweetest HEA!
characters did not draw me in….
Another great read by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland!!! This book seriously has it all… It’s hilarious with the banter between the two characters, sexy, and will give you all the feels. And let me tell you there is a twist in this book that you will never see coming!!!
Bridget is a widowed single mom who meets the handsome Dr. Simon Hogue when she lands herself in the ER with a bit of a butt problem. Immediately these two will have you cracking up, fast forward a few months and a friend of Bridget needs a place for her best friend to stay. And who does it end up being.. you guessed it, Simon. Now he’s renting the room off the side of the house.
Simon is a sexy and sweet charmer with an accent and has you drooling for more of him. I know I am. These two authors together are guaranteed to give you a Fantastic read and they did nothing less than that in Dear Bridget I Want You.
DEAR BRIDGET, I WANT YOU by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward is a contemporary adult, stand alone , erotic, romance story line focusing on Dr. Simon Hogue, and ER nurse Bridget Valentine.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Simon and Bridget) DEAR BRIDGET, I WANT YOU follows the building relationship between ER resident Simon Hogue, and nurse Bridget Valentine. Through a series of mishaps Bridget is not only Simon’s patient and landlord, but also works side by side with the man who stirs something deep within our story line heroine. What ensues is the building romance between Simon and Bridget, and the potential fall out as Simon’s time in America comes to a close.
Bridget is a single mother; a widow whose husband was killed in a motor vehicle accident, and a woman whose entire life now centers around her eight year old son. Simon is a British citizen, spending his residency at a US hospital, and a man trying to escape the memories of the past. Our hero doesn’t do relationships, and has no plans for children or family but meeting Bridget and her son finds our hero reconsidering his future, and the possibility of a happily ever after with the woman and child he has grown to love.
The relationship between Simon and Bridget is one of immediate attraction although neither one was aware that they would be working together in the very near future. Bridget will become Simon’s landlord, and Simon will become the man that calls to our heroine’s heart. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.
We are introduced to Bridget’s son Brandon Valentine, and her best friend Calliope and husband Nigel but to add to the already close-knit affair, Calliope is also best friends with Dr. Simon Hogue.
DEAR BRIDGET, I WANT YOU is a story with plenty of sexy small talk, and fun and flirty sexual innuendo with a twist to the story line I didn’t see coming. The premise is sensual and inviting; the characters are colorful and entertaining; the romance is passionate and seductive. DEAR BRIDGET, I WANT YOU is an emotional, wondrous and intense story of romance and love.
