Oh my wow! Maggie & Porter’s story is emotional & swoon-worthy. I was cheering so hard for them through their journey to HEA. Grab some tissues because there are some heartfelt moments along the way, along with laughter and messy life lessons. Kait Nolan weaves the perfect blend of family, heartbreak, humor and love at last. Don’t miss out! ~USA Today Bestselling Author J.H. Croix“That … Croix
“That girl who got knocked up in high school.”
Maggie Reynolds went all the way to Los Angeles to escape that label, but she hears the whispers every time she comes home to Eden’s Ridge, Tennessee. She’s been burning the candle at both ends for the last twelve years, trying to make something of her herself, trying to give people something else to say about her.
Porter Ingram prides himself on being a steady man, a good friend, but he’s none too steady when he flies off to California because Maggie’s collapsed from exhaustion and she doesn’t want her sister, Pru, to worry. Not when Pru’s about to have a baby any minute. What Maggie doesn’t know is that she’s more than just a good friend to Porter. It’s an open secret he’s been wearing on his sleeve for years, if she’d only see it.
When Maggie’s forced to take a sabbatical from work, the obvious choice is to go home to Tennessee. But there’s nothing restful about just doing nothing for a doer like her. Throwing herself into getting the Eden’s Ridge Artisan Guild off the ground is a natural fit for her talents, and Porter’s grateful for her help. But walking in the shadows of their painful past could reveal secrets that just might destroy everything they think they know about each other.

Bring It On Home is the fourth book in the Misfit Inn series. Porter has been in love with Maggie for years, and the only person who can’t see it is Maggie. When she’s forced to come home, she has to face a lot of realities, including Porter, but will love have a chance to finally win?
This book just packed all of the emotional feels! Maggie and Porter stole the show with his forever love of Maggie, and her sweet awakenings to true trust and love! My heart both swooned and clenched in the romanticism and in the healing of past wounds. Maggie is so strong, so determined to do everything on her own, always on the go, so it was just lovely to see her slowly lean on Porter and her sisters. She had a ton of healing to do, and it really was a process for the whole book. Porter was just amazing, the kind of guy you always want on your side. I loved his patience and going at Maggie’s pace, and I love his protective nature. He had a few of his own issues to work through, but I loved how selfless he was. One of my favorite parts was seeing how all of the sisters and side characters tried to bring Maggie and Porter together, constantly cheered them on, and always was there for either main character when needed. I loved this book! I’ve really enjoyed this series, and hope there’s more set in this town! I’m not ready to leave Misfit Inn!
I sat down and read the book in one sitting. Again Kait Nolan did not disappoint. I love how she continues to build on the Misfit Inn story line. She pulls you in right from the beginning with her believable characters..

Always love reading Misfit Inn stories! Maggie and Porter have been friends forever and it was wonderful to visit with them again and read their story. Never can put Kait Nolan’s books down until the end and don’t want them to end when I get there.

Kait Nolan is always superb at her craft, but she certainly hit one out of the park with Bring It On Home. All the girls are finally happy and settled in Edens Ridge and the family is growing. All our questions are finally answered about why Maggie ran so far from home and Porter. This one was a page turner and a tear jerker for sure. If you are new to the series, please start at the beginning and read them all because it is truly worth the time to get to know the Reynolds girls at Misfit Inn!

This one was particularly emotional, bringing tears at several plot points, but they’re the best kind of heart-wrenching tears! I love these characters and also the continuation of the love stories of Maggie’s sisters who we met in previous books. It was really nice to see where those stories led, and the epilogue was just the perfect bow to tie it all together. Definitely recommend (but would recommend reading the rest of the series first)!

I have come to love Kait Nolan and the character in the Misfit Inn series, Porter and Maggie are no exception. From reading the other stories in the Misfit Inn series, it was clear that there was something special between Porter and Maggie and that Porter was just waiting on Maggie to give him the go-ahead. But something, we didn’t know what until this story, was holding her back from a great love that they both deserved.
I have always been a sucker for second chance at love stories and that is exactly what this story was. What I loved about this story was that Porter and Maggie had a deep, meaningful friendship. Their relationship was and has always been built on a foundation of trust and genuine care for one another, especially on Porter’s end. Maggie had a lot of issues that she needed to deal and accept before she allowed herself to love another person and even though it took her a while to get there, she was able to because of that foundation that she already had with Porter.
This story was incredibly relatable and I found myself wishing and hoping for a relationship like Porter and Maggie’s, something I find myself doing a lot with Kait Nolan’s books. I recommend reading Porter and Maggie’s story, especially if you want to feel the way I do when I read it. Trust me, you will not regret it!

Absolutely my favourite book of the series! I felt as if I knew the characters and just loved reading it. I was disappointed to get to the end, not because it wasn’t perfect, but because I enjoyed the book so much.

It’s not often a book makes me cry, but this one did. There were so many emotions I felt when I read this book, it was crazy! Kait Nolan (as usual) did a great job of returning us to the Misfit Inn and making us feel like we’d come home. I feel like we’ve watched each of the sisters overcome obstacles and become successful as they grow find their true loves and grow their families. Maggie and Porter hit a real soft spot with me, as I struggle with being the independent, “I’ll do it myself” kind of people that they both are. I’m so happy to see their happy ending and be reminded that we all deserve one!

I loved the Misfit Series by Kait Nolan. Bring It On Home Is a wonderful addition to the series and I am sad that this is the last book in the series. I loved that Maggie’s and Porter are having a second chance at love and are best friends since childhood. This book is heartwarming it deals with loss and grief. Kait Nolan wrote a beautiful story that you become emotionally involved in and you will not be able to put it down. I loved this book.

This book is jammed packed with all the good stuff. Drama, Mystery, and of course Romance.
I laughed, I cried, and I loved every minute of it. Maggie and Porter got the absolute perfect ending!
Maggie Reynolds is a corporate lawyer who has been seriously overworked for the last 18 months bet balancing her job and helping her family. When her health starts to be affected she has no choice but to slow down. And what better way to do it than going home.
Porter Ingram has been in love with Maggie since he was a teenager. Sadly life and it’s secrets lead them in two different directions. Now that she’s finally come home he starts thinking about taking a chance.
What I love most about the story was Maggie ability to take care of herself. She was in a difficult situation but made the absolute best of it. Porter’s devotion to Maggie was definitely the light of this story.
Another 5 star read from Kait Nolan!

I just loved Maggie & Porter’s story!! His “secret” love for her never faltered and finally it’s time for him to tell her. Maggie is a strong woman with a painful past but acknowledges that she’s always depended on Porter unknowingly that her feelings for him were stronger than she thought. Their story made me smile, made my cry and made for a “can’t put the book down” night.

I have to admit that I had to check my man card at the door with this one. It brought out the tears a number of times. One of her best

Another Great Misfit Inn Book!
Maggie & Porter’s Story
by OHNana
Another hit in the Misfit Inn Series. Maggie is a very busy Type A personality in California, but overworked and stressed.
Porter stayed home in Eden’s Ridge to build his business of restoration and building new.
Maggie is forced to take time off after overworking for too long. So she goes home to Eden Ridge, just in time for Pru’s baby to be born. Tough Maggie since she miscarried as a teenager after a brief relationship with a local guy.
Porter has loved Maggie since he was a teen, lots of struggles for the two while getting reacquainted.
Take the time to read this book! Not necessary to read the previous books, but I think it is better read in order as a series.

Almost from the beginning, we could feel the chemistry between Porter and Maggie, and I’m so glad to finally know the story behind it. Mind you, the story’s so juicy, I don’t know what I can really say about it without getting into spoiler territory. Let me just say that this book was a little bit of an emotional roller-coaster ride. I adored Porter. Even when screwed up and behaved like a jerk, it was so easy to see how important Maggie was to him. I loved seeing Maggie learn to be vulnerable with the important people in her life while also learning that burying herself in work wasn’t an appropriate solution for dealing with her past. And what an emotional ending! I admit it, I cried for how sweet and beautiful it was. We may be done with the Reynold’s sisters, but there are still stories in Eden’s Ridge I want to know more about.

I truly love this story. KAIT Nolan’s writing is wonderful. She really captured sister love and returning home to family with this story. I found myself crying and smiling throughout this book. This story completely touched my heart and I was not able to put it down.

I love this series of books. The sisters are a great group of diverse women who would do anything for each other. The inclusiveness of of the ever expanding family makes me smile. This is the last sister to find her way and all I can say is I’m really sorry if this is the last of the series.

This story made me laugh, cry, huff in anger, and say “AWWWWWW” as I melted. I absolutely adore Maggie and Porter’s storyline and this book did not disappoint at any level. I feel like I personally know everyone at the Misfit Inn. Joan would indeed be proud of the family she raised.

Kait Nolan fans will be thrilled with this latest release! Maggie and Porter’s story unfolds beautifully and is well worth the wait for this release. Of course, the ongoing development in the other sisters lives also meets our expectations. Loving Kait’s style of romance with a Southern flair.

Kait Nolan has done it again. Another Misfit Inn book. Another of the sisters and her story. Maggie has been in California but becomes so stressed and overworked that she has put herself in danger. So Porter goes out to bring her back home to recover. They have been friends for over ten years but, since Maggie doesn’t get home often, they don’t see each other much. Now they have time to talk about their past and the problems that caused Maggie to run away from the family and make a life in California. Porter has built a construction company that may be threatened when a deal for a resort falls through. Porter decides to enjoy the time with Maggie because he knows she will return to California in a few months. As they work through issues, secrets are revealed. Then Maggie gets to help a young girl who reminds her of herself all those years ago. In the meantime, the rest of the sisters have children, become pregnant and plan a wedding. All while Porter and Maggie are trying to revitalize the old mill for the artisans and craftsmen in the area. Lots of twists and turns as they fight the past, deal with the present and plan for the future. A page turner for sure.
