Oh my wow! Maggie & Porter’s story is emotional & swoon-worthy. I was cheering so hard for them through their journey to HEA. Grab some tissues because there are some heartfelt moments along the way, along with laughter and messy life lessons. Kait Nolan weaves the perfect blend of family, heartbreak, humor and love at last. Don’t miss out! ~USA Today Bestselling Author J.H. Croix“That … Croix
“That girl who got knocked up in high school.”
Maggie Reynolds went all the way to Los Angeles to escape that label, but she hears the whispers every time she comes home to Eden’s Ridge, Tennessee. She’s been burning the candle at both ends for the last twelve years, trying to make something of her herself, trying to give people something else to say about her.
Porter Ingram prides himself on being a steady man, a good friend, but he’s none too steady when he flies off to California because Maggie’s collapsed from exhaustion and she doesn’t want her sister, Pru, to worry. Not when Pru’s about to have a baby any minute. What Maggie doesn’t know is that she’s more than just a good friend to Porter. It’s an open secret he’s been wearing on his sleeve for years, if she’d only see it.
When Maggie’s forced to take a sabbatical from work, the obvious choice is to go home to Tennessee. But there’s nothing restful about just doing nothing for a doer like her. Throwing herself into getting the Eden’s Ridge Artisan Guild off the ground is a natural fit for her talents, and Porter’s grateful for her help. But walking in the shadows of their painful past could reveal secrets that just might destroy everything they think they know about each other.

The last in the Eden Ridge series has finally come and with it, Maggie and Porters story. I’ve been waiting for this one!
Both Maggie and Porters characters are steadfast, loyal, strong and self-sacrificing and each with a back story many would crumble under. Their story is deep and delicious.
This final book of characters who are well and truly woven into your heart, absorbs you back into the Reynolds family in that tight-knit way Kait Nolan has that makes it difficult for the reader to leave behind. I’ll always want to know what’s happening with them but content with the completion of the series.
Lovely flow to the story and a great use of the word catywampus.
When Maggie faints during a business meeting and lands up in ER because of over exhaustion, he boss puts her on mandatory 3 months leave of absence. And she calls Porter as reinforcement.
Porter has been in love with Maggie since 12 years but never said anything about his feelings. And the minute he hears she is in the hospital, he drops everything to be with her.
There is a reason why Maggie has never been home for more than a flying visit and now she has to spend over 3 months there. Having Porter makes things easier but then he expresses his feelings.
I enjoyed reading this book, it was so good. We finally get Maggie and Porters book and it made me feel a myriad of emotions, from happiness to sad tears. Porter as a strong supporter of Maggie was amazing, absolutely loved him. I loved catching up with the other sisters and their families. Though it seems like this is the end of the Reynolds sisters stories, I hope we get more Misfit Inn series and get to visit them again.
I loved this book. This book sums up and reminds you of all the reasons you love the Misfit Inn! There is suspense, (with a little foreshadowing), and definitely romance, and little heat! I just really loved the way the book tied all the sisters together and their tiny town! Must read!!!

Captivated… I have always enjoyed reading Kait Nolan’s books and this is no exception. What I love most about her books is the characters and the small town setting. In this book, I admire Maggie’s strength in her dealings with people’s perceptions of her. I love how Porter is so patient and caring with Maggie. I also enjoy the glimpses of her interaction with her caring sisters. I was so captivated by the book that I read in a little more than a day. I love Maggie and Porter’s second chance romance. I received a free copy of this book through Booksprout. This is my honest and voluntarily given review.
Bring it on Home is the fourth book in Kait Nolan’s wonderful “Misfit Inn” series. Each book has focused on a different foster sister as they struggle to carve out satisfying lives for themselves and find love. In Bring it on Home, we finally get Maggie’s story. Maggie has been a force to be reckoned with in each of the previous books. She’s been very strong and very forceful, even while being mostly out of state in California. Maggie is a workaholic on the verge of collapse. She’s been running from her issues for many years, and her body is finally screaming at her to STOP and deal with them. Her boss, fortunately, has the good sense to read the signs and forces Maggie to take an extended leave and go home to Tennessee to visit her sisters and rest. This is my favorite book of the series because all the sisters (and Ari!) are in the book a lot. We get caught up with everyone and get to see what is happening in their next chapter as we get to know Maggie deeper and watch her fight her own demons. It’s also a friends to lovers story, which is one of my favorite romance tropes. I loved watching Maggie assert herself and figure out what she wants and how to get it and I loved seeing Porter finally being open and honest about his feelings. There are some great sexy scenes, but my favorites were the family scenes. I loved seeing everyone together, and the book brought tears to my eyes more than once. Mostly happy tears, though. This book is a wonderful addition to the series, and while technically, this is the end, since each sister has had her story, there are a few doors left open for future stories in this “world”. I am hoping that Ms. Nolan writes those stories and more, and I suspect I will always want to know more about this family and their friends. If you haven’t read the rest of the series, you can jump in with this one and get along just fine, but the experience is MUCH richer if you have read the first three. I highly recommend this series and especially this book.

Great book. Love prevails again despite what Maggie went through as a teenager. I’m glad her abuser got what he deserved at the end. I hope we get Ari’s story next.
Wonderful story! Realistic characters and problems. Kait does a great job! I enjoyed the way she wrapped up this series.
Le sigh. Le melt.
This story kept me up way past my bedtime. And made me ugly-cry. Repeatedly. And I loved every single second of it, even if my heart was breaking. Because it gave me ALL the feels. And that included plenty of heart-warming moments as well as some quality time with the extended Reynolds clan.
Settle in for a great read. Finally Maggie’s story. I couldn’t wait for this one and was definitely not disappointed. Maggie had to fall apart to build herself back up and figure out what and wher she belongs. Porter had his own things to figure out. Get ready for the whole package in this book. Family, humor, love, heartbreak, and the perfect ending to a great series.

Kait Nolan, ‘Bring it on Home’, a Misfit Inn novel.
As an ARC reader I received a free copy and promised an honest review. Here it is. English isn’t my first language. Sorry for errors.
Rating: 4 stars (of 5).
In general: Romantic second chance in small town.
Main characters:
– Maggie Reynolds.
She was born and raised as a foster child at the Misfit Inn in Eden’s Ridge in the Deep South of the US. Got pregnant when she was 17 years old. The father was the son of a very wealthy family with much economic influence in the region. He refused the parenthood and his family bought Maggie’s silence. But Maggie had a miscarriage, left her home town and studied in California where she got an important position in a successful investment company.
– Porter Ingram.
Also born and raised in Eden’s Ridge. Had a secret crush on Maggie already before her pregnancy; helped her during the pregnancy (and the accompanying small town gossip), but lost Maggie after the miscarriage and her departure to the West Coast. He build his own contracting company in Eden’s Ridge and remained in contact with Maggie at a distance.
At the start of the book Maggie has a breakdown during a presentation: she worked too long too hard and forgot to care for her health. Her boss (and good girlfriend), who admires Maggie for her talent and dedication, forces her into a sabbatical period before she becomes seriously ill. During the sabbatical Maggie stays in Eden’s Ridge to help a sister who expects her first child.
The author, Kait Nolan, describes how it’s difficult for Maggie to de-stress, to ignore the old town gossip and to accept help from Porter and her family at the Misfit Inn. In addition there are complications with Porter’s firm and the wealthy family of Maggie’s old seducer (and parenthood refuser).
All in all the author creates an easy to read story with many wonderful characters and a romantic (although not very original) second-chance love in an interesting small town (again described with a lot of feeling) in the Deep South.

This story of Maggie and Porter is a dream come true for both of them. You find out why Maggie returns to the Misfit Inn, which is where she and her foster siblings were raised by their late foster mother. Porter has always had feelings for Maggie and it’s so fun and emotional reading about how their lives are going to change. Another great story by Kait Nolan. So great, I read it in one sitting because I just had to know how the story ended. This book can be read as a stand-alone, but I promise you will want to read the others in the Misfit Inn series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Maggie and Porter have been friends for many years. He has been in love with her and everyone knows but her. I have really enjoyed this series and getting to know Joan’s girls. Maggie hasn’t been my favorite sister until this book. You find out why she is so “prickly” (my word) and how Porter’s love changes her. She is now my favorite!!! Xander has been my favorite guy but Porter is at least tied with him now. When Maggie comes home will he finally tell her how he feels? So many secrets come out – will this make or break them? Loved catching up with the sisters and their families. The ending was one of the best ever. Ari is one of the sweetest and spunkiest teenagers – adorable. Highly recommend this series but especially this book.

The Misfit Inn fits me, and I’ve enjoyed getting to know each of the sisters in this series.
Maggie is an incredible shero, and I identified with her issues immediately. I’ve been wondering about her story since the first book in the series and waiting -not so patiently-for Porter to step into the spotlight.
Porter was nearly too-goo-to-be-true, and I would have liked to see his wound developed more fully. Together, they’re an unstoppable pair.
My favorite part of this was the way it wrapped up, bringing Joan back into the story in a way that had me tearing up. What an incredible woman who made a family out of “misfits.” This is the ultimate feel-good story. You’ll adore these characters.and be sad when you have to leave them.

Finally we get Maggie’s story! And it was as good as I was hoping it would be. Maggie has overworked herself to the point of making herself sick with stress. Little does she know that her life is about to take a drastic turn. Porter comes charging to her side to help. We all need someone like Porter in our lives! She is sent home to her family to rest. Maggie doesn’t know how to go that far, but seems to find a mode that allows her to enjoy her personal life as well as work. She and Porter have a few not so secret secrets to reveal. Kait Nolan excels at writing characters that make you want to be part of the family. The book hits all the emotions and gives a very satisfying end. While Maggie is the last sister, I hope there are more visits to the Misfit Inn in the future! I received an advance copy and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Loved it!
I enjoyed revisiting the girls from Misfit Inn.
What I liked:
The writing style
The characters
Porter
Friends to lovers
Part of a series: Misfit Inn

HEA
Epilogue
Kait Nolan is one of my go-to authors and I always look forward to reading her next book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC from Booksprout.
It couldn’t be any better. I enjoyed every minute of this fascinating story. It tells a story that I can personally relate to because I have sisters and we did not stay in our small town. In Bring It On Home by Kait Nolan, all of the sisters eventually returned home. I loved the closeness of the extended family, even though Maggie had secrets she kept to herself, she had good reasons for doing so. I definitely recommend this book to everyone.
I have come to love the stories by this talented author and this latest addition to the Misfit Inn series, proves my point.
Maggie Reynolds left home after a teenage pregnancy. She not only became a lawyer but is a very successful one in L.A. But when she faints in the middle of a meeting due to total burnout, her boss not only forces her to an extended vacation, but she also contacts Porter Ingram. The boy, now man, who has loved her for over twelve years. He drops everything to pick her up and bring her back home.
The story is full of revelations : why Maggie really left, Porter’s life , and so much more.
We come to understand Maggie, not as the take charge woman, but as the one who has many emotional scars . Porter is the one that is always there to give her a hand and support her. Even when gossip is still rampant in town, he stands by her. But she never revealed the boy that got her pregnant . Why is that? Does she not trust Porter?
It’s a story that is at times heart wrenching and in which all you want to do is hug the main characters. It’s a story about long lasting unconditional love, trust, hope , family and second chances.
In the end, will Porter and Maggie find their HEA or will the past once again keep them apart?
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
The love story between Maggie and Porter is so sweet and heartwarming. Kait has a way of developing her characters so you feel as though they are your best friends that you have known forever. There are sweet funny moments as well as moments that tug on your heartstrings. Pick up a copy today. You won’t regret it.

This book is so much more than another heartwarming, romantic novel featuring the delightful people of Eden’s Ridge, Tennessee. Kait Nolan artfully weaves a tale of not so unrequited love, overcoming fear, fighting for justice and what it truly means to find your way home. Porter is the guy who always had Maggie’s back. Maggie is the girl who always had Porter’s heart. Ten years apart didn’t change that. There are so many layers and themes in this book; it is a must read with all the feels (NOT going to give anything away here!). Bring it On Home is a standalone but if you’ve read some of her other books in the Misfit Inn series, you will enjoy catching up on some favorite characters who add depth and dimension to this story!
