I always enjoy reading her books. This is an enjoyable set of stories that connect to each other by carrying a couple characters forward across several seasons. I enjoyed the interconnectedness, although each book is enjoyable on its own. These clean, sweet Regency romances had an element of mystery and plot twists that added to their charm. Great set of novellas!

ONE OUTSTANDING COLLECTION!!!
Thrilling! Joyce brought it with this little treasure. She brought all of our emotions in play full force as she spins this bad boy with a swirling vortex of vexing circumstances and a multitude of surprising mishaps that launch this baby to a whole new realm. Talk about a breathless wonder. A whirlwind of events and activities that roll right into place without a single hitch. All the drama, uncertainty, heartache and determination finally giving way to triumph blasts this bad boy roaring to life spectacularly. Jumping hoops, hurdling the trials and tribulations keeping pace with a slew of plot twists as well as a bevy of turns melds this treasure together flawlessly. The characters are authentic, solid and realistic you feel like you can just reach out and touch them. Their personalities are well balanced and blended. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive it’s like being transported to ground zero with them. You feel like your part of the story instead of on the sidelines. Remarkable job Joyce, thanks for sharing this awesome collection with us.
Great stories. There are entertaining and interesting characters and stories. Like a group of different stories in books that you can read one after the other. Enjoyed this book.

This is a collection of 4 Regency Romances that have a hint of mystery, intrigue, romance and happy endings. Definitely worth reading.
The Aristocrat’s Charade
Lord Peter Marchamont is courting Miss Ophelia Gray, but he feels this courtship is not going in the direction he would like so he decides to end it. The feeling was mutual and Olivia is relieved by his decision. A few days later Peter receives a threatening note stating he must court Ophelia or his brother Edward will be ruined. Peter returns to resume his courtship of Ophelia and together they work to protect Edward so that their courtship can end. As they work together this results in the development of mutual respect and affection. This is another well written book by Joyce Alec filled with intrigue and mystery.
An Earl’s Redemption
Another great book by Joyce Alec. Lydia’s parents are uninterested in her as she must deal with romance, murder and of course bad parenting. Joseph, Earl of Ancrum befriends Lydia and together they embark on an adventure you don’t want to miss.
A Viscount to Remember
Louisa must find a husband by the end of the current season or her father will insist she marry her neighbor. Viscount Daniel Williamson is perfect for her but this romance is filled with suspense, mystery and intrigue. is he a villain or is someone trying to keep them apart and why? Will there be a HEA for Louisa and Daniel?
Bewildered Earl

I had read all but the last book in this set. I really enjoyed how she tied all the stories together. Even though Lord Ancrum and Ms. Preston were instrumental in possibly causing someone else’s unhappiness it was nice to see them both have their own happily ever afters. Though Ms. Preston’s seemed to be the most dangerous of them all.
Great Stories, each one kept me guessing till the end.

Delightful Regency Romance
Four delightful stories that can be read in order or just as enjoyable as standalone stories. All are clean reads with happy endings. They all have a space on my to be read again shelf.
The Aristocrat’s Charade was maybe my favorite. I liked how Miss Grey and
Viscount Marchmont seemed to be so different but at the same time were just right for each other.
I had previously read An Earl’s Redemption and felt so bad for Lydia. Each time I read it I keep thinking when is Lord Ancrum going to get his head out of his tail.
In A Viscount to Remember I thought for someone who didn’t base their opinions on rumors or gossip Miss Smallwood did seem quick to judgement a few times.
In book four Bewildered Earl poor Henrietta after surviving a near ruination in the previous book only to have her parents suggest that she marry her cousin because they were afraid someone might someone might hear of what happened with Lord Kingsley. Mr. Stratton her cousin was a nasty piece of work.

This is a really nice collection of Regency Romances. I reread the first two since I hadn’t read them recently. All four of theses stories feature smart young women, however some of the men may be less than. After reading it again, I found I still did not care for Lord Ancram but Lydia loves him. All four have some element of a mystery. There is depth to the characters in all of the books and the writing is engaging. It kept me waiting for the answers to the mysteries. In keeping with the Regency theme, all the stories are clean and free of profanity.
I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I thoroughly enjoyed the boxed set has strong heroines and men who don’t give up what they want. They all come to terms with the problems in the end.

Four very good regency stories they are The Aristocrat’s Charade= Miss Ophelia Grey and Lord Peter Marchmont’s story has a suspense, drama, danger, a charade by a peer, and two people starting out not really liking each other, a mystery about a brother, a bet, and romance. Then there is An Earl’s Redemption= Lord Joseph Ancrum made a fool of himself last season and is hoping he is forgiven this new season. He meets Lydia Whitaker and they become betrothed. A Viscount to Remember: This family-friendly Regency Romance takes only an afternoon and has all the intrigue, confusion, and obfuscation necessary for a satisfying conclusion.
Bewildered Earl: This one has rogues, gentlemen, and parents acting badly, brings back Lord and Lady Ancrum, and takes about six hours.

This is a wonderful 4-book collection containing: The Aristocrat’s Charade, An Earl’s Redemption, A Viscount to Remember, and Bewildered Earl. Below is a review of one of the books to give you a sample of what’s available in this collection. Enjoy!
*** Reviewing “ARISTOCRAT’S CHARADE” ***
I really love this romance with a touch of intrigue and mystery! A clever touch! Miss Ophelia Grey is pleased that Lord Peter Marchmont, believing she is not the right match for him, decides their courtship should go no further. It is actually a relief to her! Yet she is surprised when he comes back in a couple of days to beg her for another chance! That makes no sense at all!
When Peter found a note which stated that he had to court Miss Grey or his brother, Edward, would be ruined, Peter realizes he has no choice but to go back to her and convince her that they need to try again. Fortunately, he does tell her the truth of the situation and they work together to protect Edward’s reputation while they find out who sent the note and why.
Ophelia and Peter work well together and as mutual respect and affection start to be realized, perhaps they won’t want to walk away the second time.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and found it fun and intriguing. Ophelia was a strong character that was easy to respect. I think both she and Peter learned some valuable lessons about each other that will give them a firm foundation if they choose to give love a chance. I highly recommend this one! This author’s books are really excellent and I think you’ll thoroughly enjoy the books she has collected for you here!
This is a great collection of regency romance stories. Each one has a different plot was well written with some wonderful characters. If you enjoy regency romance you will not want to miss out of this collection.

This 4 Book Collection of Regency Romance will give you hours of pure reading enjoyment! Each and every book in this wonderful collection had great character and storyline development that kept me totally captivated as I read each and every book in this must have box set!
In The Aristocrat’s Charade, Ophelia Grey was rude towards Viscount Marchmont when he tried to restart their courtship. Yes, he ended it and did not seem very happy about restarting it, which would have made me question why he would want to. But she still she shouldn’t have agreed that he was dull when he commented that he could be, agreed to dance with him and then avoided him, tried to force another lady on him, and other behavior that was not appropriate. When he is finally forced to reveal why he needed to court her again she gets caught up in solving the mystery and is much nicer. However, I liked her friend Miss Smallwood much better. She was kind and got her point across without being mean.
The Earl’s Redemption follows after the previous book where the Earl of Ancrum tried to ruin Ophelia to win a bet. He is trying to fix his reputation when he takes up with Lady Starling, a woman who is free with her favors. He knocks Lydia Whitaker down in his haste to do Lady Starling’s bidding. Lydia and the earl end up in a compromising position and he is forced to propose to her, which angers Lady Starling. Lydia’s parents are atrocious, putting her down and using her as a servant. There is blackmail and murder in the Regency romantic suspense.
Miss Louisa Smallwood from the first book has her own romance in A Viscount to Remember. Daniel started out dancing and walking with Louisa to annoy her new companion. The reader isn’t told why until near the end of the book. But he develops feelings for her the more time he spends with her. Awful rumors abound about him, the company and women he spends time with. Daniel denies it, but he is having trouble disproving them. Is he a villain or is someone else out to get him? There was plenty of romance and a mystery to solve in this regency romance.
Each of these great stories have some mystery that needs to be solved so the main characters can find their happily ever after. Fantastic characters and story lines. Each story can be read separately or in succession. I have enjoyed these stories each time I read them. I highly recommend this set. Happy reading.
