This box set is filled with sweet, small town romances with interesting and believable characters. Here are a few of my favorites:
Taste of Home:
This is a sweet, small town romance between a city girl and a small town photographer. Harley had a hard time getting Zoey to open up but once she did they had a great connection. Believable characters and a well written story full of drama, angst, humor and a great ending make this a must read.
Fake Marriage To a Rock Star:
This is an entertaining, sweet romance between a rock star and his best friend’s sister. Ava had a crush on Brendan growing up and now Bren wants her to be his fake fiance so he can fix his tarnished reputation. This is a well written story with good characters and an HEA.
Country Stars Bodyguard:
Fiona is a country star and Rocco her bodyguard. I like that even though the attraction was their the authors didn’t rush their love story. The characters are believable and the story heartwarming. A good afternoon read.
This was a good series of book each with it’s own Hero and Heroine and thier HEA. Sometimes there was an antagonist and sometimes it was only the heros creating thier own drama before the HEA. Either way I like each individual book.

15 romances, from Cowboy to billionaire to single dad – everything the romance genre is offering on the clean side has a representative in this collection.
A wide range, which ensures that you definitely can find something to enjoy, even if there are one or two, where you might not like the setting.
The stories are well-written, but nothing out of the ordinary. Still – good entertainment.

Heartfelt Clean Romances
This is a large collection of short novellas, some of which I had read before. I’m a sucker for Christmas-themed stories (even in August), so I particularly enjoyed A Family for Christmas. Lysander is new to the small town in Georgia but blends in well even though he comes in from across the country. He and his two children are very nearly adopted by the couple next door. Their daughter is involved in a relationship with a guy who does not appreciate her; I was actually a little surprised at how much of the novel the bad boyfriend was in. These are novellas, so there isn’t much time for complex characterization or multi-level plots, yet the author is able to bring the emotional feels for most of the stories and create tension. Each story is distinct, which isn’t easy to do in a collection. If you enjoy the kind of feel-good, low-angst romance that you see on the Hallmark Channel, you will most likely enjoy these stories.
A great Sweet Contemporary Romance Collection that once I read I had to buy as I knew I wanted to take my time reading the stories the next time I read them.
I have not read all the stories but the 8 stories that I read give me a good idea of what the rest will look like. Nice and readable stories that come across as realistic. Careful steps to a happy ever after. In the 8 stories I read, it is always the man who dares to be the first to declare his love to her. I thought that was a refreshing idea. In almost all the other romances I have read, it is usually the woman who opens up first.
The series of books contain romances of every genre, a 2nd chance, a widower, cowboys, business women, etc. So hide away with these stories for several evenings
In A Family for Christmas, Grace was dating a loser who put himself first and often put her down, but she was stuck and afraid to break up with him and make a change after four years together. Widower Lysander moves next door to her parents with his two children and despite a rocky meeting there is an attraction between them. His children George and Lily love her and her parents love Lysander. But can she break free from Aaron and take a chance with her heart with a thoughtful gentleman like Lysander? There were plenty of sweet and funny moments in this holiday romance. George and Lily were so cute. My only wish is that there had been an epilogue.
In Taste of Home, after getting laid off from her executive job in NYC and not getting any call backs on her interviews, Zoey receives the deed to a shop in Harmony Cove, Georgia. She decides to move there and turn it into a cafe. She is rude and pushes everyone away not realizing that unlike in NYC people in Harmony Cove look out for each other. Harley, who owns the photography studio across the street, tries to get her to open up and let people in. But when they get really close something happens that causes her to blame him and push him away. And then when she realizes her mistake and tries to let him back in, he keeps pushing her away. This was a clean romance with plenty of humor and drama.

I so enjoyed reading Brides and Second Chances. The stories were engaging, and I loved some of the twists and turns they to getting their happy ever afters. If someone is looking to binge on some sweet romances, this collection has it. I am definitely looking for more from Ms. Hill.

The story lines from this author are always intriguing, drawing the reader in and providing the entertainment we’re looking for in a good romance book! And there are great endings for each one to give you that feel-good sense of completion! I think you will be very pleased with the content. If you need specific details on any of the books to help decide, most if not all of them are reviewed under their individual titles. But with this collection, you can’t lose!
I had read a couple of the stories already and as always, Ms. Hill delivered great stories all with wonderful “happily ever afters” She always does a great job of character building and pulling you into the story right from the beginning.

Whatever your walk in life, this boxset has something that you can identify with. The stories are touching and heartfelt and grabs your attention from start to finish. They have just the right amount of romance with characters that can be complicated, funny, infuriating and in some ways admirable. I loved all the stories in this set.

I’ve read a lot of books written by Ruby Hill; she has done a great job at writing a good collection of books; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

I had read most of the stories previously, however I enjoyed reading them again.
Highly recommend.

Why does every story in this collection have that worn-out stereotype of a raging, unrealistic, horrible idiot female for the main character. The actions, thoughts and dialogues of these so called women are unacceptable and intolerable.
These stories would be great for young girls to read since they are clean, without sex and work towards a relationship, instead of instant lust.
They are simplistic and give the impression that the authors are young but the heavy amount of naivety and unrealistic elements (actually inexperience or lack of research), keep the stories from being a satisfying read for a more advanced reader.
If only that worn-out witch role was not so prominent in each story, these would make quickly read stories perfect for breaks. I won’t allow my granddaughters to read about stereotypes that do not cast girls and women in a good light. They need to know that good women and men exist regardless of what social media, Hollywood and their classmates show . I did not look to see if the books were previously released and wonder why the authors are not listed on most of the stories. I found this collection on Booksprout, to my sorrow. 2*
A Family For Christmas – The only story I was happy to read. The main characters are likeable and the storylines are good. 4*
Taste of Home – Zoey, lost all respect for her with her ridiculous outburst, which made me lose interest in this story. 2*
Love in a Small Town – I found the food fight unrealistic and I did not care for the writing style. 2*
Skimmed through these; stereotyped:
Long Journey Home
Change of Heart
Chasing Love
Did not read, I do not care about rockstars and Hollywood:
Fake Marriage to a Rock Star
Rock Star’s Nanny
Country Star’s Bodyguard
The Rainforest’s Song
Finding Hollywood
Home With Miles
Turned Heart
Christmas in Holly Springs, Carolyn Johnson – Meredith is a miserable excuse for a woman. Stopped reading after 50 pages; the fire scene. 2*
I just love a set of clean christian romances. They draw you in with the elements of the story that stand out so well. I couldn’t put them down and liked them all very well and highly recommend them. You fell like you are there. The love flows from them and fill you with warmth. To see second chances work out is amazing. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
A Family for Christmas is a heartwarming Christmas tale. Lysander and his 2 children move to a new town. The next door neighbors, an older couple, are very friendly. Their daughter Grace saves Lysander’s son from running into the path of a car. Grace has a boyfriend who neglects her and breaks dates often. I read this in one sitting because I did not want to put it down.
I thoroughly enjoyed Taste of Home. It is a clean, fun, small town romance between Zoey, formerly a New Your City executive, and Harley, a small town photographer. Zoey has to learn to love the southern, small town charm of friendly people who care about others. The characters are fun, have chemistry and the story was interesting enough to keep me reading instead of working! Loved it!
Love in a Small Town was really love in Atlanta. We did not get to the small town until the end of the book. This story was a very fun read. Nora and Asher were a really fun couple working together on a promotion – an elegant tea party. (I wish I could have attended. It sounded like so much fun!
Heart of a Farmer’s Daughter was an enjoyable romance between Sydney, the farmer’s daughter, and Jackson, the son of a much too occupied with business father. Jackson walks out on his father’s company and gets a job as a farmhand for Sydney. Sparks fly. I am not going to say more, but the path of love is littered with a few land mines. I had to finish this before I could get some much deserved sleep!
Fake Marriage to a Rock Star is a clean, interesting, romance. Brendan, lead singer for his band, is spread across the tabloids as a home wrecker. He needs some damage control – and fast. Enter Ava, younger sister to Brendan’s best friend. The plot to clear Brendan’s name is using Ava as a fake fiance. The story is well written, with a few surprising twists. The characters are well done as well. I spend a happy few hours involved in this drama.
Country Star’s Bodyguard is a sweet, clean romance. I really appreciated Fiona’s humility and humanity. Rocco was a consummate professional who made plans to step down as her bodyguard as soon as he realized he was falling for Fiona. This book had a lot of real character development. This story just really resonated with me and I could not put it down.
I cannot wait to read the rest of these wonderful romances.
