Romance, cowboys, ranching and wild mustangs…the Presley men, aka the cowboys of Ransom Creek, will win your heart and have you longing for Texas. Don’t miss the final book in this satisfying series! His family is changing and growing with happily-ever-after’s surrounding Brice Presley. He’s happy for his brothers and his sister and feeling restless to make a mark on his own future, but he’s not … future, but he’s not ready to settle down. He’s planning on branching out with his own ranch, until his plans get side-railed when the ranch he’s looking to buy is rented out to a spunky beauty and her two children. Determined to get the deal done, he’s not sure how he’ll manage buying the property and not coming out the bad guy.
Tara Quinn has plans to get her horse business up and running and then to buy the ranch she’s leasing. She’s hoping her landlord will make her a deal and not counting on the hunky, handsome cowboy from across the road wanting to boot her from the property and take it for his own. And she’s certainly not counting on the attraction that has them both about as nervous as cats on hot tin roofs. Romance is the last thing she wants, especially with the man she sees as the obstacle between her providing her kids with the future they deserve.
Love is looking about as likely as a rainstorm in the middle of a Texas drought…but miracles do happen.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. Each of the books have been sweet, clean romances filled with strong women and hunky cowboys. As well as realistic situations.
This last one was bittersweet to read, knowing that it was the conclusion of a series based on the Presley siblings of Texas.
Brice is the last single one left. Though in the past he had no desire to grow roots in one place , he’s getting tired of all the traveling he’s doing for the ranch and is thinking of purchasing a ranch close to the one that belongs to his Dad.
Tara Quinn, and her two adorable kids, Jeb and Paige, recently rented the ranch he had his eyes on. This tiny unit has been emotionally hurt and Tara is determined to do anything for her kids.
The meeting of Tara and Brice will make you laugh. At other times in the story, you will need your hankies. Will they be able to find their HEA or will fear of losing control cause Tara to miss her chance at love?
I loved that some of the previous characters were included in the story and the epilogue was a perfect conclusion to the series.
Looking forward to what new stories Ms. Clopton has in store for us.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Brice is book seven in the Cowboys of Ransom Creek series. Brice and Tara both have their hearts set on the same property. Can they find a truce and both get what they want? Their story sucks you in, keeps you hooked, and makes you want it to never end. I absolutely loved it, and I highly recommend it.
As I sit here writing this review, I can’t help but laugh out loud thinking of the way in which Brice and Tara meet. Of course, they don’t exactly see the humor in it until later. Since I don’t like spoilers I won’t recount here what happens, but will allow you the pleasure of finding out when you read the book.
Both of these characters are lovable in their own way. It is endearing how even though Brice and Tara want the same property, Brice does care about the impact it would have on Tara if he were to be one that does purchase the property.
I love the connection all the Presleys have with each other but it seems that Brice and his Dad have a special connection and you can see them giving guidance to each other in sometimes subtle ways.
I can hardly wait for the next book to read about the birth of Lana and Cam’s baby, and the coming together of the Presleys and Sinclairs.
Brice is another one of those handsome Presley cowboys! He just may be the sweetest one of all the brothers! Tara is a great female character as she opens her horse spa. You will love her young children, Jed and Paige! I’ve enjoyed reading about all of the Presley brothers and recommend Brice to others! I received an advance e-book of Brice from the author. This is my honest opinion.
A wonderfully written story that has humor and also touched on the real issues that some families live with daily, alcoholism and child neglect. It shows how that effects a wife and two small children and what the consequences of such actions can cause.
Tara and her daughter Paige and son Jed move to the farm across from the Presley farm in Ransom Creek. On the day of Tara’s arrival she met her neighbor handsome, single, cowboy Brice when he ran into the bathroom where Tara was taking a shower. If this was not humorous enough Tara finally gets him to leave her bathroom and she gets out to lock her door and figured she needs to rinse off so she gets back in the tub and falls and it causes a hugh knot on her forehead. Brice hears the fall and runs back to help her and finds the door locked. He threatens to break the door down and since he has already seen her dressed in the shower curtain she has to try to get a towel to cover up. Brice being the sweet caring guy he is heard Tara say she is dizzy and he carried her to her bed. Since she said he felt like he had to rescue her, she refers to him as a Neanderthal.
I think the way Tara explains her reason for divorce from her husband tells the way so many families live when there is a spouse that turns to alcohol and not only does the other spouse suffer but the lack of companionship with the children caused a terrible situation. Then when Tara tells about the husband driving drunk with the children he caused a wreck which killed the other driver. The children had to be removed with the jaws of life and the nightmares that followed it brought the story to life. Brice taking time to allow the children to help him do daily chores was a healing to both the children and Tara and let her think about what life might be like having a complete family again, not just a mate for her but someone her children could look forward to spending time with and was teaching them valuable lessons in life.
This story has so much more family drama and interesting twist and turns and romance in the air that I highly recommend this book!!
Brice is the lone bachelor in the family with all his siblings being married or engaged. That’s just fine with him, although he’s IS a little lonely and it would be nice to have a special someone but he’s in no hurry. Plus, where is he supposed to find this special lady? He lives in a small town and knows every single woman there! He’s happy on his family ranch but he’s thinking of buying a neighboring ranch and having a place of his own. Brice is a wonderful man and I loved his character. When his dad asks him to go to the neighbor’s ranch and make sure it’s all ready for the person renting it who will arrive that day, he doesn’t hesitate because he’s that kind of guy. What happens next is hilarious! I wont spoil the fun! You have to read the book yourself to get all the details! But, it involves a shower curtain and only goes downhill from there!!!!
Tara is going rent this ranch and give her two children some stability after the divorce from an abusive husband. Her children have suffered so much and she just wants them to feel safe again plus work with horses. Tara’s children are darling and they need someone to care about them – apparently they have chosen Brice! These two grown-ups don’t want a relationship but it seems they are going to have one. It’s a great book and one I heartily recommend.
Brice was a sweet final book in the Cowboys of Ransom Creek series. I believe that a reader could probably enjoy reading Brice even if they hadn’t read the other books, as long as they understood that other siblings and their significant others would play a part in the story.
The author did a very good job of creating a heroine in Tara Quinn who, along with her children, had overcome much trauma from Tara’s ex-husband. Tara’s reluctance to trust herself and her kids to another man was understandable.
Brice Presley was such a nice, honorable hero. I appreciated the way that he was slowly beginning to realize that he desired the love that his siblings had found in their spouses. I liked that as he learned about the emotional scars that Tara and her children carried, he did all he could to be a kind and supportive person for them.
This was a sweet romance!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
I love all of Debra Copton’s books
This has been an awesome series. Debra really knows how to write wonderful stories with great characters and storylines that keep you reading. You will not be wanting to put the book down.
Brice was the last of the Presley brothers to find his soul mate. He just did not want to marry and lose someone else. They had lost their mother in childbirth when they were young.
Tara had been in a bad marriage and had sworn off men. She just wanted a place for her and her daughter and son. A place where she could open her business so she could take care of their needs.
When love takes over all their excuses flew out the window.
I recommend this book to all who like good clean reading.
Brice by Debra Clopton
Cowboys of Ransom Creek Series Book Seven
Brice Presley and his dad, Marcus, are the only two Presley bachelors now. His sister and his brothers are married, or about to be married. Brice is fine with all of that. He’s not ready to settle down. Or at least that’s what he thought.
Tara Quinn is starting over. Her little family has had a rough few years and she moved to Ransom Creek to start over. She plans on starting a business so she can be around for her young son and daughter. Just the three of them is all she needs. No man. Not even the oh-so-handsome cowboy.
Sometimes, most times, we make plans but God always has His plans. This story may be fiction, but in real life…you just don’t know what paths will lead you to happily-ever-after. Great series.
