My review is for BREATHE AGAIN by KATHERINE KING. I absolutely loved this story. A 42 yr old woman just newly divorced after a 15 yr marriage she finds out her husband cheated on her. She is broken and feeling betrayed. Her friend talks her into going to a Lawyer annual Christmas party. She is a lawyer, but didn’t want to go. While she’s there she is approached by a hunk of a man. She orders the house wine, but he buys her Dom champagne. They end up in a hotel room together. The sex is spectacular! Just what she needs to feel like a much desired woman again. Then to find out he’s a lawyer, but only 29 yrs old. The author sent me a copy of this book and I was so delighted to read it and review it. I really did enjoy this story so I’m going to read other books by her.

I received Breathe Again from this amazing Arthur, Katherine King. Even though the two stories are short they were well worth the read. I really enjoyed this sad, yet uplifting story of a 42year old Jane who was devisated when her 15yr marriage ends in Breathe Again. After finding out her husband cheated on her, Jane needs to feel desired again. Heartbroken and devastated she has to find the strength to move forward and attends the Annual Party. Axton swoops in and does make her feel desired again, lifting her spirits. WOW! Dose he make her feel desired, hot and steamy! Their age difference becomes an issue she struggles with. This story is full of hope, desire, betrayal and heartbreak. Kathriine surely has a way with words when she is able to project these feelings through her word and onto us in her stories, leaving us in a state of AWE! She once again captured and trapped me in her spell. Even though these two have an age gape, and Jane struggles with the age difference their sexual attraction is undeniable and HOT! It’s a really cute short story and it should definitely be continued. SO I say YES, absolutely Yes to continueing. I also read the short chapter of Undeniable included in the story and had to buy it
When Jane goes to shut down her husband’s computer, she sees the subject line “When are you going to tell your wife?” That is how she found out that Mike, her husband of fifteen years, was having an affair. Now she is forty-two years old, going through a divorce, a single mother for the first time.
Three and a half months later she is at her staff Christmas party. She no longer feels attractive, wanted, or even able to breathe. She isn’t in the mood to socialize and feels like a third wheel no matter what conversation she happens to be brought in to. She goes to the bar for a glass of wine and ends up with a bottle of Dom, thanks to the gorgeous twenty-nine year old, Axton, who buys the bottle. He says that it is for them as he means to share it with her.
A little while later, Jane and Axton end up in a hotel room. They have amazing sex, more than once. In the morning, she thanks him for the Christmas present and walks out the door.
I really wish that this book was longer! There could be such an amazing full length novel with this. I loved Jane and the story line with her. Being that I have been in Jane’s shoes, I really want to know what happens with her. Axton seems like he would also be a good character to follow. All in all, I liked the short story.
This was a nice quick read that moved along at a good pace. It has characters that will grab you from the moment that you start reading and you want to see them overcome everything in their way and a story that will grab you from the start. This book needs to be experienced there is no doubt about it.
I absolutely loved this book! I enjoyed every story in this book! I definitely think you should go on with another story about Jane and Axton. As a 37-year-old divorcee I can completely relate to the story.
