“4.5 out of 5 stars!!! This was a great new twist to the “Cinderella” type of stories. We have Sadie, who is a great lead, that is a strong girl who knows if she didn’t take on all of this responsibility the life that she and her mom have would be a lost worse then it is. However, even though…”

I’ve read this book twice now and I loved Sadie and Jax even more the second time around. I was completely captivated and drawn into their story. Abbi Glines sure knows how to draw you into a book and make you fall hopelessly in love with every single character she blesses us with. She is one of my go to favorite authors. The only thing I didn’t …

This is such a cute book and honestly such a great start to the Sea Breeze series!
This first book is decidedly more YA than the books that follow too.
As the series progresses, the target market changed, and the series shirks its YA boundaries and begins to use more explicit language and have more adult scenes.
Sadie is trying to make ends …

*WARNING* Story contains adult situations I own this whole series and have read it multiple times. I have no idea why I never reviewed it. Maybe because it was before I started reviewing? Anyway….I luved Jax’s little grin and the way he tried to fight his wants to save her from his life of no privacy. My heart hurt for all Sadie has to take on …

This is the first book of The Sea Breeze series and is fast becoming one of my favorites. Jax Stone is a famous teen idol who is in Sea Breeze to relax and enjoy his summer vacation. Sadie is a young girl forced to fill her mom’s position at work in order to feed their growing family. Sadie is informed she’ll be working at a celebrity’s home this …

I know people love and rave about Abbi Glines and I have had the pleasure of meeting her and she is such a sweet person. It amazes me that I have taken this long to finally read her book, especially when I’ve recommended them to friends and one has even become Abbi obsessed. But this book just was not for me.
I did not feel anything for Sadie or …

I really liked this, until I read other dystopian future books which I liked more. Teens living in a domed community where the air is poisoned. Great concept, but the ending is abrupt. World building is not great. First person narration by three characters is confusing as they sound the same. Some supporting characters are two dimensional – the …

I found this book in an unusual way – it was a “similar to” another dystopian book I read, Antipodes, but I liked that book better. Similar concept, but this was far more sinister. The ending felt abrupt.

he world is barren of trees. Ocean has been polluted so bad it no longer produces oxygen. The planet has suffocated. Then, along comes the BREATHE corporation to save humanity from extinction, building a safe, air-controlled glass dome of protection within which everyone can survive.
But at what cost?

An intriguing and adventurous read! Nicely plotted. I especially liked the character of Maude Blue. I found my breathing getting weird while reading this–and I appreciated the oxygen in the air. 🙂
