This novel did a great job of exploring the theme of Big government and the military industrial complex vs. the common man and the innocent quest for increased human knowledge and awareness of our world.
I try to read the book but after a few pages they prevented me from finishing the book . I have no clue what I have to do to keep on reading. I guess that was my last attempt to start reading on a computer. I guess the old fashion book, Printed on paper is still more enjoyable.
Good entertainment even though it glossed over the issues at the crux of the plot. For the purposes of keeping the plot moving the characters basically accepted theft of earth’s natural resources without batting an eyelid. That was simplistic and unconvincing.
enjoyed
Have loved every book of the series
I loved this book! Of course I don’t want to give it away. I loved Sally and Dirk, they were my favorite characters. This was a mix of sci-fi and magic. This was an entirely original read. Amazing!
This book presents ways in which all things are possible in this world. The thinking which went into the development of this story is as deep as the waters that the author portrays. Avery interesting read…
If I wanted right wing, political, crapola I will turn on FOX. Don’t want to see it in books I read.
I enjoyed this a lot. Good characters, interesting settings, and an original story,
Really interesting and filled with possibilities that make you think a lot about the future.
I enjoyed this very much.
Good read keeps your interest
What a great book, have read it twice I enjoyed it so much. Characters are well developed and easy to identify with. Plot line is easy to follow, yet, interesting enough to keep you reading.
Pretty unremarkable overall — dialogue was stilted and trite. Characters were predictable. Not my cup of team, but others might like it.
Very good book. First in the series.
Futuristic, but entertaining.
Best book I’ve read in ages, couldn’t put it down…looking forward to reading the next one.
How am I just now hearing about Michael C. Grumley? This guy writes old school adventure sci-fi like a boss! Reading Breakthrough made me reminiscent for other favorites like The Swarm, Beast, and Jurassic Park, to name a few.
Does all the science add up? Pish posh, of course not, but who cares? It works. Does it make for a great story, where …
This story contains lots of information about ice fields, dolphins, and military cover ups. I thought it was exciting.
With glacial melt in the Antarctic, communicating with dolphins, aliens stealing water, navy seals and nucleor attacks, you are in for a wild ride. A great story line that keeps you guessing all along the way.
