Nothing about me is easy or simple. I’m complex and misunderstood. And if you think you’ve figured me out…you’re dead wrong.Amy wanted to keep pace with me and be what I needed. She desired the dark, but she had no idea what the dark really looked like. There was something else I craved and hungered for. For a long time, I’ve chased it and have done terrible things for it. Dark and sinister things … it. Dark and sinister things that never even cross most people’s minds.
Now I have a ticket to Hell…and I’ve earned it.

OMG even when I knew what was coming something would happen that I didn’t expect. What a wild ride for these characters. I loved that even when it was one characters story she still incorporated the other characters. My opinion of Paul didn’t change but my perspective did. Loved it
Holy Batman! We had so much questions at the end of the previous books that was answered in this newest release that will get you worked up. You will get to witness Paul’s (J.P.) point of view and you will be fighting the feelings he brings out in you. Such a mind blowing read that I was unable to put down. I am in awe with the writing of Drew Sera and would highly recommend this book.
Review:
Drew Sera is a spectacular author that knows how to write books with a story line that is dark as night and will leave you wanting more as you turn each page. Having known JP (Paul) from her Everett Gaming series, I admit he was not least favorite character and had a love hate relationship with him by the time I finished Between the Lines. Breaking the Mold is no exception for a wonderful romance book.
This book is a book that ties together all the how, why and questions that we had from the previous books. Paul is a complex and complicated man. This book is a passionate experience in the Club Iron series. I love catching up with the characters we know and love. Pick up your copy today, you will not be sorry!
Great series, great story, and even better author.
really enjoyed reading Amy and J.P. 1st story Between the Line and this has to be a lot better. You see more darker side of J.P. then Between the Lines. My heart broke for Amy in this book because of the darker side. It had my heart pounding the more I read it. It was so good I didn’t want to put it down but at moment I had to. If you read the Everett Gaming Series you see part of it in here but in J.P. view. When I finished reading this I screamed and scared my fur babies. Then it had my brain in over drive. I had a major book hangover from this book. Read it because you will love it
Drew Sera, another freaking amazing book! I have a love/hate relationship with Paul/J.P. In the Everett Gaming Series you meet Paul and don’t really like him. You learn more about him in Between the Lines. The story about Paul and Amy was wonderful and loving. This was a continuation of his story. Drew delves further into Paul’s life. He is dark yet loving to Amy. Yet as you read further, you see find out more about him and his dark, twisted thoughts. It’s a crazy ride but so worth it.
This continues Paul(JP) and Amy’s Story. It gives us insight into why Paul did the things he did and his delusional thinking. He did love Amy despite his obsession with Anthony but he couldn’t accept her limits.
I have loved every book by Drew Sera and this one is no exception. It made me angry at Paul and feel sorry for him, but most of all it made me feel sorry for Amy. I hated that Tammie became caught up in his scheming.
I loved that everyone tried to look out for Amy and that Blake went to check on her at the end. This gave her closure and I was glad to see Paul’s side of why he kidnapped Sydney and tried to break her.
This book gave me a lot of understanding about the whole Everett Gaming Series and I highly recommend you read them all!
Oh my. I don’t know how many times I had to set this book aside and let my brain settle down. I read the Everett Gaming Systems series by Ms. Sera, so I sorta know what Paul was capable of. But to read this from Paul’s POV– very, very dark.
Paul’s story will stick with me for a long while, my proof of well written stories. Thank you Drew!! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Superbly written journey of JP’s story. Any unresolved issues or questions about Paul is revealed. Drew Sera goes dives deep into Paul’s dark thoughts. She is able to convey the thought process behind his actions and actually make them seem very logical. Prepare yourself for the journey that lies within the pages.
A very well-written book that answers a lot of questions from the previous book. It sucks you in from the beginning and you have trouble putting it down. The character building and plot are amazing. I have a love/hate relationship with JP, you want to love him but also hate him., he’s a very twisted individual. You can’t go wrong with this book.
OMG OMG What a book Breaking the Mold I’m speechless, there doesn’t seem like enough words to say how absolutely amazing this book is. It had me hooked 100% turning each page to see what unfolded next. We get a lot of answers in his final book. Drew Sera writes such fantastic books. I have throughly enjoyed every book to do with Club Irons, love catching up with the characters like Blake, Anthony and Colin. This is a very passionate and emotional read. Recommend this book to everyone.
WOW. We now have the answers to all our questions about Paul. I was sorry what he did to Amy, but glad she is healing and writing again. I am glad Johnny got his surgery but sorry he died, and that Jay lost both his brothers. I look forward to see if Drew will continue the saga with Amy and what has been happening with Sydney, Anthony and Colin. What a great book.
Breaking the Mold is the second book that follows JP/Paul and Amy. We see how their relationship evolves from dipping her toe in the BDSM world to jumping completely in. Watching how Amy’s “romantic sadist” morphs into the man we all saw from the Everett Gaming Series was eye-opening. We saw how Paul used his ability to get into people’s head to get exactly what he wanted or needed from them without giving them the same consideration. We did get to see the horrific actions that played out in the various Everett Gaming Series books from Paul’s perspective, however, the reasoning behind his actions didn’t justify the chaos that he caused. I may have sympathized with some of the turmoil in his life, that didn’t justify Paul’s actions. Instead of accepting and relishing in what he had in the world, he was always blaming others for his perceived slights in life. By the end of the book, while I may have gained some understanding of Paul, I was still left with the same pit in my stomach as I had while reading about him throughout all of these books. Yet another amazing book by one of my favorite one-click authors.
Okay this is a sequel to Between the Lines ( you really need to read that first) JP is a pharmacist with a alternative lifestyle, he’s into the BDSM club Irons. If you have read BTL you know who he really is. You can love JP one paragraph and hate him in the next. JP is in a relationship with Amy but is obsessed with someone else. Can everyone survive JP, find out
I had a very hard time coming up with a review for this book. For me it was an OK read. There is a lot of repeated stuff from chapter to chapter. If you have read the other books from this author most of the stuff in this one you already know. You do learn some new details. But read it for yourself because JP is an interesting character.
In the begining I loved what Amy and JP ( Paul ) had as it seemed cute in a way but as I kept reading my opinion of Paul started changing drastically and by the end of the book I did not like him yet I pitied him and wanted him to seek help. I also felt bad for Amy and everyone else he came into contact with. His downward spiral of self destruction was not only damaging to himsekf but those around him as well. I do highly recommend this read.
I just loved this book!!! It was so well written with every possible detail you could think of in it. Even though reading the originally story and knowing what happened to Paul it seems like your reading it all for the first time from his point of view. Not that his actions are justified but they make a bit more sense when your reading his reasoning for some of the craziness. I like the the book was split with JP, Amy, Blake and finally Paul’s point of view. This series isn’t just an id recommend its a MUST read!!!!!!!
WOW! This book was full of details about Paul and the evil things he does. Such a phenomenal book! It has left me speechless. The characters are just amazing! I would give this book ten stars if possible! This book will pull you in and you will get lost in the amazing story!

After falling in love with the Everett Gaming Series and the other Irons books I had my opinion of Paul, the psychopath and hated him throughout the other books. This book shows that he has strong emotions and is capable of truly loving someone. I thought this book would do like other series and give the inside his head reasons for his behavior that might redeem him just a bit in my mind. I should have know by how wonderful all of Drew Sera’s books are that it would not be a simple journey. While the story was written to be well satisfying in an explanation behind his behaviors it will take you on a huge emotional ride. This book was wonderful and as all her books do you will be left wanting so much more of the club irons series.
This was a great book and fills in a lot of the information the reader was unaware of in the Everett Gaming Series. It would be easy to say that Paul is a psychopath, but he is not because he has strong emotions and genuinely loves his brother Johnny. The book does engender strong emotions in the reader, I frequently had to put the book down because I got angry with Paul and at other times just wanted Amy to wake up and leave Paul. In many ways Amy was a mirror of Sydney fortunately Blake looked out for her and his tRip to see her at the end allowed for closure.
I had thought when I started this book that I would find mitigating reasons for Paul’s behavior, but Ms. Sera did not make it that easy for the reader, instead she offered an explanation that was both satisfying and at the same time as horrifying as Paul’s actions and she did not sugar coat any of it. This made for a dark, sometimes terrifying book that takes an important place in the Club Irons Series.
