For five years – one thousand, nine hundred and twenty-two nights to be exact – I’ve watched her from afar… fix.
Claiming her could start a war, and might very well result in my death.
But she’s mine, she’s always been mine.
She just doesn’t know it yet.

Can this series get any better ? Seriously if you haven’t read this series by Izzy Sweet and Sean Moriarty you need to do yourself a favour and Start right now . This series is dark , raw , intense, and the men are Alpha to the core. I love it . Sean Moriarty Izzy Sweet
Loved the series
I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is part of a series and features characters from earlier books and could be read as a standalone but is more enjoyable if you read in order.
Triggers: violence, murder, torture

I was happy to see Simon get his own story. His character was well written and interesting in previous books. Simon works for Lucifer. He has a knack for information collecting and he is a germaphobe. Simon has been watching over Meredith, Lucifer’s estranged sister for years.
Meredith is Lucifer’s sister. She hates him after witnessing a violent incident with him years prior. She despises all of his men for their ways.
Fast forward, Meredith gets into trouble and runs to Lucifer for help. Typical hypocrite- she hates his violent ways but when she gets herself in a jam, after murdering someone no less, she runs to her brother.
I could not get into Meredith’s character for the first 50% ? of the story. I kept hoping she would die off or just leave. She is unpleasant, with a holier than thou attitude. While putting her brother down for his behavior, she herself has indulged in questionable behavior but justifies it because “she’s only ruining bad men”.
I eventually was able to tolerate her but still wouldn’t have minded if she had died off. Lots of action, violence, murder and sexy time as this is all part of Lucifer’s world. Looking forward to reading about Gabriel, Simons brother.
I need a Simon in my life.
Simon!!!!!!
Yes! I loved Simon’s story and how we got to see inside his messed up head. Surprisingly there was more humor in this book with how he dealt with certain situations and Meredith’s attitude just added to some of the humor. They were a perfect fit for each other. I’m hopeful we will see more books from this amazing series!
Love this series! Have always wonderd more about Simon. Feel like we didn’t really get to know him, but just more of the war that’s going on. Loved him and Meredith together. The love hate relationship they have was hot when they finally got together. The ending was interesting. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
Wow! I love this series! I’m so glad I found this series! Man, Simon is one possessive man, well all of them are and I love it. I still love Lucifer but damn! Simon is so hot! I want the next book to come out soon and I hope you have many more books planned.
They did it again with the suspense, romance, and just enough of their twisted drama to make the book awesome. I love ed Simon and Meredith’s book. It was a great addition to the series. They have a crazy unique relationship just like the the other couples in this series. The end of the book was great but leaves you wanting more.
Another fabulous book for the series. While you done really need to read in order it is nice to see the character development. Liked that the heroine is a bit more festive than those of the other books. Shows great diversity and how the authors keep changing it up. Well written, highly exciting and loved how she keeps Simon on her toes. Fabulous read and whenever I read a book in the series I can’t stop at one! Always love to get reacquainted with the stories.
