I enjoyed the story of James and Meg. I liked that Meg was a party girl up until she fell for James. It was nice reading that James went out of his way to be there for her after her mothers passing even with them not being together. I wish the love scenes where more passionate but other than that it was a good read. I recieved a free Arc copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Meg is the receptionist at the hotel, and she likes going out and drink with her friends.
James is the new sous chef that is going to cover the position Tom left. He felt attracted to Meg since the very beginning.
There is a thing I don’t understand in the story and that is the gossip about Meg and James’ relationship. People working at the hotel has always been kind and helpful, so why the gossip? Three stars and a half.

Meg and James’s story was a good short read. I liked the way they met and am glad that even though they had miscommunication James was there for Meg and she was able to allow herself to be with him.

This was an ok read for me. I didn’t much care for Meg. I get her reservations about being in a relationship because of her past but she might give a person the benefit of a doubt before kicking them to the curb.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns it was hot and steamy, James Sous Chef. Meg is receptionist for the hotel. The chemistry between them is intense.

Another fast fun read in this series each book can be read in under an hour but that doesn’t take away from the fun that the book is Each book is a total stand alone the only common factor is the Chiltern Hotel the setting for all the stories This is James and Meg’s story
He is the new sous chef at the hotel and he is popular with all the staff but he has his eye on Meg the receptionist of the hotel The only problem is even though they enjoy one another’s company she doesn’t believe in relationships Can he get her to change her mind and give him a chance to develop something stronger between them that friendship You will have to read to see if they have a future together
Employees keep falling in love with each other, and leaving the hotel. Meg is wondering if that will ever happen for her. Her heart was badly broken in a prior relationship, and she’s not entirely sure that she’s ready to move on. James is new, replacing Tom as the new sous chef. He’s happy with his decision to change jobs, and he’s fitting in nicely with his new co-workers, especially Meg. They spend time together, and he takes her on a trip that he won. But when she sees him talking closely to another employee, she assumes the worst and takes action to protect her heart. Will she be able to forgive him? will she even listen to his explanation? This is another nice book in the Chiltern hotel series. It’s a quick story to read, with a nice balance of sweet and spice. I think that James is a little too possessive of Meg in the beginning, but they eventually fall into a comfortable relationship.

This is the 3rd book in the series and the second one I’ve read. And like the last one, I was not overally thrilled with it. The characters had promise that was not ever 100% fulfilled and the the storyline wasn’t as believable as I would have liked. And the part that messed with me the most was that the POV of the book kept feeling like it was switching from 1st person to 3rd person.

This is the third book set at the Chiltern Hotel, each featuring couples finding love with their co-workers. Each book is stand-alone, though you will see couples from previous books. James is the new sous chef at Chiltern, and quickly finds himself enamored with Meg. They quickly fall into a realtionship, though lack of trust drives a wedge between them. James refuses to give up on Meg, and is there for her when she needs him most. This is the opening he has been waiting for, and they quickly reunite with misunderstandings being cleared up.
I really enjoyed reading this story. It has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it, though James is very much a possessive alpha and Meg is a bit of a party girl. Looking forward to reading more of this series.

Seeing a situation can be deceiving as well as cause lots of problems. Can you truly trust the person or people involved. Meg caught James in a compromise situation after having a wonderful vacation. Will she be able to trust him again? Will she even forgive him if needed? James is on a mission to win Meg back!!
A good and enjoyable story. It is hot and steamy, fun, intriguing, emotional and much more. It is a story to curl up with and enjoy. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
