It was just a hoverboard. Nobody was supposed to die.Dale Adams has worked hard to leave his troubled past behind for a brighter future at Emory University. But when he makes a discovery that will change humanity forever, avoiding the spotlight becomes the least of his concerns. Small experiments have attracted big attention. And not all who notice want Dale to be successful. Or even alive. As … be successful. Or even alive.
As Dale’s world collapses around him, his fate intertwines with that of a girl he hardly knows. Their only hope for survival is to disappear into Atlanta’s seedy underbelly, the very place Dale has tried so hard to leave behind. Time is running out, but if they can survive long enough science will be rewritten by the most unlikely of authors.

★★★★★ BRILLIANT! Grab it now before everyone else it talking about it!
This is a ride and a half. Perfectly paced. Written so well that you lose yourself in the story. Couldn’t fault it. I HIGHLY recommend this book. This is not just a good book, but a brilliantly executed concept. A new author to watch.

★★★★★ My first Great read of 2019!
This is the first review I have ever written for any book. I go through SF at a 2 or 3 book clip per week, but this was a nonstop ride from start to finish (7 hours). Would love to get a follow-up with the “Gravity” concept in space. Well done Mr. Walters!

★★★★★ I may have found a new favorite author!
i am an unusual reader, I have no patience abut I don’t usually read a book at once…I DID this one. I couldn’t put it down.

★★★★★ Great story, smooth writing
Wow what a ride from orbiting coke cans to Hong Kong financing. What a great read. Solid writing with characters that make things happen.

Great read, well written; loved the humor; superb entertainment; fascinated by the mind that produced this; left me wanting more (a good thing)! It’s always fun to discover new authors and I’m definitely looking forward to his next book.

★★★★★ OK, where’s the 10 star button?
This is “Martian” quality writing. Mr. Walters’ writing skills let you slide into the narrative on page one while he spins a great tale that draws you in. Be sure not to read it until you can finish it; you really can’t put it down. — great fun!

Interesting premise.
Light reading but fun. I enjoyed this book.
I liked this story and how it progressed. The characters evolved and expanded as the story needed them to and it was entertaining.
Thought-provoking.
A good read
good characters but the sci-fi seemed weak
A neat premise, interesting characters, fun read
Consequences should be examined in reguard to new things. Some we have to put ourselves in other situations
Entertaining story but predicable. Author tired to keep it moving with interesting plot twists and characters. Good ending. Romantic touch added to realism of plot.
I thought there could have been a more tidy ending.
I had so much fun with this book. I wanted so badly for the technology to be real. I read 2-3 books a week and this one surprised me with the level of fun included.
A great read. You won’t be disappointed.
I thought it lacked believablity. The characters lacked depth. It might be entertaining to a young reader. It would have been better as a fantasy with magic. The science just was not there.
Interesting story line. Enjoyed it and ended up not being able to put it down
I rarely read unknown authors. This book was free through Amazon and looked interesting so I decided to give it a try. I also liked that it was under 300 pages, so a quick read. I’m a 66 year old grandmother whose son took her to John Wick 2 for mother’s day if that gives you an insight to who I am. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It moved fast and kept me interested. I was actually thinking it would make a great movie. It had an interesting storyline, bad guys, unlikely heroes, boy gets girl and lots of action that would work well on screen.
Give it a try. You’ll be surprised.
Breaking Gravity went off in directions I didn’t imagine. Fun read with outlandish characters. Get yourself a copy , sit back and enjoy!
BRILLIANT! Actually i’ve been thinking along those theoretical lines myself.
As for the book… harrowing and yet quite a likely scenario if the ptb were faced with the reality of unlimited free energy.
A well-thought out concept and the possible repercussions, well written, exciting… Makes me want to talk to the author. Wonderful!
Just a great story!
A very interesting and engaging book! I took a day off work so I could finish it. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.
I liked the story BUT hate hate hate books that leave you hanging for the next book. No conclusion
