It was just a hoverboard. Nobody was supposed to die.Dale Adams has worked hard to leave his troubled past behind for a brighter future at Emory University. But when he makes a discovery that will change humanity forever, avoiding the spotlight becomes the least of his concerns. Small experiments have attracted big attention. And not all who notice want Dale to be successful. Or even alive. As … be successful. Or even alive.
As Dale’s world collapses around him, his fate intertwines with that of a girl he hardly knows. Their only hope for survival is to disappear into Atlanta’s seedy underbelly, the very place Dale has tried so hard to leave behind. Time is running out, but if they can survive long enough science will be rewritten by the most unlikely of authors.

★★★★★ BRILLIANT! Grab it now before everyone else it talking about it!
This is a ride and a half. Perfectly paced. Written so well that you lose yourself in the story. Couldn’t fault it. I HIGHLY recommend this book. This is not just a good book, but a brilliantly executed concept. A new author to watch.

★★★★★ My first Great read of 2019!
This is the first review I have ever written for any book. I go through SF at a 2 or 3 book clip per week, but this was a nonstop ride from start to finish (7 hours). Would love to get a follow-up with the “Gravity” concept in space. Well done Mr. Walters!

★★★★★ OK, where’s the 10 star button?
This is “Martian” quality writing. Mr. Walters’ writing skills let you slide into the narrative on page one while he spins a great tale that draws you in. Be sure not to read it until you can finish it; you really can’t put it down. — great fun!

Great book. Almost believe it could happen. If it hasn’t already !!
When Dale Adams accidentally develops an antigravity skateboard aka hover board for his senior business school presentation needed to graduate people begin dropping dead. Multiple car accidents, heart failures, and gun battles by rival groups attempting to gain control of the discovery throw Adams life into perilous bedlam. A very hot read that you’ll zoom thru the pages.
I thought the premise, “engineering student discovers the key to unified field theory without actually knowing what the key really is”, was fabulous, and i’d like to think that physics discoveries have often happened that way. I don’t care what Sheldon Cooper says. HA!
Great fun! Neat book, original ideas. Hope for a sequel.
Loved it.
Taking place a few year into the future, this novel will keep the reader’s attention. It is most certainly a page turner! The characters are quite believable, and the author keeps the pace at a happening movement.
I wish it were longer. It’s a real treat to read something about something that might be in our future!
Surprising plot twists, amusing and real enough to be true.
Just finished reading this book. It was an entertaining scifi book with just a tiny bit of romance. I’m looking forward to the next book.
Imagine you accidentally invent a gravity control device, which could destroy every existing energy and transportation industry… now imagine the response of the powers that be…. my only complaint was it seemed to take him too long to realize how dangerous this invention was. At times funny, at others full of intense action – it kept me entertained and I loved the ending.
Loved the story and characters. Great read–thought provoking
This was a lot of fun to read. I liked it a lot I hope that the author continues to write.
It was a light but fun read. Informative without being too deep.
Wow… Just finished the ride. And it was a wild and wooly one! The end came to a screeching halt…but in a kewl way. This book kept me excited to read every new paragraph and page. So much about how the media and government can and will twist the truth so much that it looks like balled up aluminum foil, with no hope of being straightened out and seeing it how it really was. Keep up the good work, MW.
Author did good job of making the situations believable.
Well thought out.
I liked the premise. Not so sure it really “ended” but still a good read!
I really enjoyed this book. Wasn’t always sure what was going to happen next. Loved the ending.
Excellent Science Fiction
Characters are unbelievable, story plot is 101 science fiction. Predicable and corny. Don’t waste your time.
Loved it and recommend this for young adults . It was cleverly developed with a great ending.
