It was just a hoverboard. Nobody was supposed to die.Dale Adams has worked hard to leave his troubled past behind for a brighter future at Emory University. But when he makes a discovery that will change humanity forever, avoiding the spotlight becomes the least of his concerns. Small experiments have attracted big attention. And not all who notice want Dale to be successful. Or even alive. As … be successful. Or even alive.
As Dale’s world collapses around him, his fate intertwines with that of a girl he hardly knows. Their only hope for survival is to disappear into Atlanta’s seedy underbelly, the very place Dale has tried so hard to leave behind. Time is running out, but if they can survive long enough science will be rewritten by the most unlikely of authors.

★★★★★ BRILLIANT! Grab it now before everyone else it talking about it!
This is a ride and a half. Perfectly paced. Written so well that you lose yourself in the story. Couldn’t fault it. I HIGHLY recommend this book. This is not just a good book, but a brilliantly executed concept. A new author to watch.

★★★★★ My first Great read of 2019!
This is the first review I have ever written for any book. I go through SF at a 2 or 3 book clip per week, but this was a nonstop ride from start to finish (7 hours). Would love to get a follow-up with the “Gravity” concept in space. Well done Mr. Walters!

★★★★★ Great story, smooth writing
Wow what a ride from orbiting coke cans to Hong Kong financing. What a great read. Solid writing with characters that make things happen.

★★★★★ OK, where’s the 10 star button?
This is “Martian” quality writing. Mr. Walters’ writing skills let you slide into the narrative on page one while he spins a great tale that draws you in. Be sure not to read it until you can finish it; you really can’t put it down. — great fun!

If I read it, it was excellent !!!!! I READ IT. JAK,jr.
Just start reading and if you do not like it, STOP READING !!!!! I did not stop !!!
Nice, self-contained story with very personal, down to earth characters.
I would recommend this as a teen/YA book. Includes some interesting characters and intriguing concepts.
Do you like Sci-fi? While not hardcore you might like this book! Do you like action books? Again, you might like this book. What about young adults trying to find their place in life? Again, check it out! What about conspiracy theories? Something for everyone.
Mitty Walters has written a book that should appeal to readers of many genres. That said, it will not appeal to hardcore consumers of any of these styles. Still, a good light read. Catch it on the beach, in the park or during your commute. Some readers could be offended by language or violence
While the idea of someone stumbling on to a anti-gravity method is not new I like stories that show the inventiveness of humans. Good story.
Stayed up half the night reading it.
I gave up on this book when it became too much to believe in. The author brought in the multi-national corporation heavies out to kill the protagonist because he had invented a zero-gravity skateboard without thinking about the effect of zero gravity on everything else. Come on, it needed to be more original than that.
Hollywood blockbuster levels of violence.
Too YA to be great, but one interesting concept
A short but wild ride.
Easy to read and anticipate general story line
This is a bit too “eighth grade” regarding writing style. Interesting story, but it jumps around a lot and just doesn’t feel like a “real book”.
It was rather poorly written! It was apparently intended for adolescent readers.
Great book
It was a fun read! Not always funny but occasionally and fast moving.
Very adolescent and silly.
Even if the premise that this student happened on the secret of anti-gravity is accepted, the likelihood that whenever the bad guys do something, he has a “near-genius friend” who has all the criminal and computer skills to make whatever improbable resources or actions immediately available to save the situation. Too many wildly improbables coming together.
