I enjoyed learning about dogs trained for finding people, drugs, etc.
I love all books by Alex Kava and when you put dogs in a series I am sure to love it.
Very good read. There are bad people out there. Surprise ending with a little romance thrown in.
Love Alex Kava series about the dogs. Wonderful characters and very believable. Really brings the character of the dogs out. You fall in love with them!
I am completely hooked on Alex Kava’s Ryder Creed K-9 series and just finished Desperate Creed. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a great story and knowable characters.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book, Alex Kava is an amazing author. Her character Ryder Creed loves his dogs, taking in abandoned canines and training them to be working animals, this is a small part of the novel yet it is an integral part of the story. Ryder is taken to a fishing boat to search for drugs and instead finds children hidden beneath the fish…. and thus the story starts. Just a warning, this book has lots of creepy crawlers and things.
Author Alex Kava is new to me and I am enjoying her books immensely – have read the first 3 of the “Creed” books and will read them all.
I love her books and storylines. I look forward to the next book to find out what happens next in their lives.
Like the trained dogs. Not a mushy love story. Surprises. Action.
I love Alex Kava, he took on what seems to a slow ride then zips around corners. The lead character was a little different, they are usually big personalities, this time the quiet guy gets the job done.
Kept me turning the pages. Love the dog.
Anything written br Alex Kava is perfection. She is the master of the art.
I got hooked right away, animal lover here. Read all of the one after another, no need to read in order. Waiting for the next instalment.
II enjoyed most of the book, however the end did not seem like it would work out that neatly. In real life it would be next to impossible to predict everyone’s actions so well.
A great book. Great characters and the plot was super. The way the story was conveyed was very original and the different dogs used for varied tasks was very informative. I’m looking for the books I’ve missed
I really like her style.
I truly enjoyed this one. I read it in one afternoon because I couldn’t put it down.
Great characters.
If you like dogs, adventure, mystery and page turning books, pick this one up. I’ve enjoyed the Maggie O’Dell series by this author and just now am getting into the Ryder Creed books. Look forward to the next one.
I enjoyed reading about the main character finding a life after Afghanistan by working with dogs and training them to search/rescure/find lost people and/or to sniff our drugs. Very inspiring work. The novel had good characters whom I liked as I came to know them through the printed word. Exciting as they “got” the bad guys!!
