Very enjoyable short story. The story of Paula and Lloyd one came from a broken family of sorts and the other from a big family full of love. They decided to have a big family of their own. I received a free Arc copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Avery felt it was time to make a change, he got a job as the fitness instructor at the Chiltern Hotel. There he meets Paula, another employee at the hotel, and sparks fly. He sets out to chase her but can he catch her?
This story is part of the Chiltern Hotel series and is a sweet, steamy, short contemporary romance. The characters were likeable and the storyline flowed smoothly. I like the innocence and the romantic aspects of the book. It can be a stand-alone or read as part of the series. If you are looking for a short, heartwarming story that leaves you feeling positive then this would be a good choice.

Paula feels a bit lonely now that Melissa is not working at the hotel anymore.
Lloyd is the new fitness instructor of the hotel and since the first day he meets Paula something stirred inside him.
I felt pity for Lloyd having abandoned by his mother, but at the same time, I felt happy because he had his grandparents who took care of him and loved him very dearly. Three stars and a half.

Once I started I could not put the book down, from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more, with twists and turns, trusting issues for Lloyd and broken heart Paula they both work for the same hotel. Christmas is a time to be happy.

What a great short holiday story. Lloyd has a past that has hindered his present and possibly his future. His has a new job in the new gym at the Chiltern Hotel that he moves away from his grandfather, his only family for. Here is where he first sees Paula and finds himself thinking about her constantly. Paula works at the hotel to earn monies to go to college. She has not had success in the relationship department and is very hesitant. These two characters are attracted to one another but are scared to take.the plunge. Over time, things are slow moving but these two find themselves head over heels for one another. Just in time to share some holiday news with their families. A great short holidays season read. Enjoy!

While this is the second book in the series the only thing that each book has in common is the setting the Chiltern Hotel
Lloyd is the fitness instructor at the gym in the hotel While Paula is one of the waitresses in the restaurant they meet when she comes into the gym. She has her heart broken while he never trust a woman after his mother deserted him. Can two damaged people help, one another to heal and in the process get a HEA
Lloyd leaves home to make his way in the world, and has a new job as the fitness instructor at a Chiltern hotel. He has had some troubles in the past connecting with women, the result of being abandoned by his mother. Paul is a curvy beauty who works at the hotel, and she catches Lloyd’s eye when she goes to the fitness room. Someone broke her heart in the past, so she’s leery of getting into another relationship. But there’s something about Lloyd… As they get to know each other, their walls begin to come down. And they both begin to feel like they’re not complete unless they’re together. This is a very sweet holiday romance between two people who just need to make the right connection. And you’ve just gotta love her Grandma – she’s knows what’s what before they do! This is my first read from this author – looking forward to more.

I was really excited to read this book when I first checked out the blurb, but truly felt like it was lacking something the entire way through. I don’t know if the author is still fairly new to the writing world or not, but I felt like I was reading a rough draft that was missing details everywhere. The storyline was good in theory, but it just wasn’t carried out as I would have hoped. And the characters felt like they were only partially fleshed out for the reader.

I cannot say enough about this book! Overall, it had a very old fashioned feel to the story, and I must say that I really enjoyed that. There were some steamy scenes that fit very nicely into the story. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

A nice middle of the road quick romance read
Paula, a waitress, meets Lloyd, a fitness advisor, at the hotel gym when she visits shortly after it opens. As the story progresses feelings develop, a surprise meeting saves them, and a chance for family may be possible. Avery North’s Breaking Christmas Traditions is a nice middle of the road quick romance read that introduces some new Chiltern Hotel employees, and brings back a few favorites.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Lloyd finally gets the job he wants at the hotel. Paula works at the hotel and goes to the gym for the opening. The two hit it off from the beginning and have a good time meeting each others families during the holidays. Nice and quick read
I received this as an ARC for my honest and voluntary review
Short story with a guy finally deciding to go out in the world away from home to be on his own. He meets a woman who likes what he is doing. He likes her and goes after her. But all is not always so smooth on the way to love. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
