Two dumped women, a seaside estate, a chance to start over…When Ann Rutherford’s husband dumps her for the bimbo in his office, unfairly leaving her without a home or a job, she reluctantly joins forces with Rhonda DelMonte to convert Rhonda’s Florida seaside estate into the small upscale hotel it once was. Ann, quiet and reserved, is no match for brash, bossy Rhonda, who left the family’s New … family’s New Jersey butcher business after she won the lottery. Amid their struggles to succeed, The Sins of the Children, a soap opera, films a number of episodes at the hotel and things get complicated in unexpected ways when Ann falls for Vaughn Sanders, the star of the show.
A light, “beach read” with humor sprinkled in for readers’ enjoyment. Be sure to read the next books in the series!

I loved it! Fun easy read!
Another great book by Judith.
Lovely story of two women who have disappointed by the men in their lives who show what women can achieve when they are determined to succeed and work to achieve their dream.
Cute, chic-lit
Loved this book, kept me wanting more right to the end
Nice, easy read. The characters were believable (even the not-so-nice ones) and the conversational language was believable. Great for whiling away the hours on a rainy day, or beachside on vacation.
Breakfast at the Beach House Hotel (first Book In the series) by Judith Keim was a delightful read for me. The author did a good job in making the characters real and relatable. Ann travels to Florida with her daughter for some relaxation and healing after her recent heartbreaking divorce. They stay with her daughter’s friend’s mother Rhonda. Ann and Rhonda are the exact opposites of one another. Over time, they become partners and best friends as they open The Beach House Hotel. Both women are men-shy as they both struggle to overcome the emotional trauma of having to deal with their cheating ex-husbands. Personally for me, I found this story to be entertaining and one that many women find themselves faced with as they struggle to find the confidence and strength to stand up for themselves in a man’s world. I most definitely plan to read the rest of the series.
Great lazy day beach read.
Liked the premise. But I found myself getting annoyed with one of the main characters, Annie. For someone with great business sense, she seemed to be too naive at times.
I enjoyed this book. The characters are well written and the characters are a little older going through a new season in their lives. I would recommend this.
Not to bad though it is hard to get into
FUN READ. RECOMMENDED FOR LIGHT FUN.
The characters are quirky and it’s fun. You cheer for the main characters and root against the bad guys… enjoyable!
Fabulous book and series!! Highly recommend!
Read several of the books in series and enjoyed them all
Loved this so much! I’m hooked on Judith Keim! I read the next 3 in this series. The characters are lovable and the story interesting. I hated for the series to end! …so I read another series of hers: the salty key series. It’s wonderful too!
Great summer read! Wants to make you visit a place like theirs!
I read the entire 3 book series and thoroughly enjoyed them. For me, the author ‘Almost’ went too far with the romance in book three, at least for me.
I’m a male reader who simply enjoys a good story in a wide range of genres. The characters and story development obviously kept me coming back.
A quick easy entertaining read.
