Two dumped women, a seaside estate, a chance to start over…When Ann Rutherford’s husband dumps her for the bimbo in his office, unfairly leaving her without a home or a job, she reluctantly joins forces with Rhonda DelMonte to convert Rhonda’s Florida seaside estate into the small upscale hotel it once was. Ann, quiet and reserved, is no match for brash, bossy Rhonda, who left the family’s New … family’s New Jersey butcher business after she won the lottery. Amid their struggles to succeed, The Sins of the Children, a soap opera, films a number of episodes at the hotel and things get complicated in unexpected ways when Ann falls for Vaughn Sanders, the star of the show.
A light, “beach read” with humor sprinkled in for readers’ enjoyment. Be sure to read the next books in the series!
And check out Judith Keim’s other series – The Hartwell Women, The Fat Fridays series, the Salty Key Inn series, The Chandler Hill Inn series, and others that readers are loving.

Breakfast at the Beach House Hotel was a superbly entertaining read with entrepreneurs Ann and Rhonda opening up a hotel in an area fighting to remain “hotelless.” The gals face the objectors and welcome the guests as the plot thickens. It was a fantastic read.
Strong women overcoming adversity.
The characters are very realistic. There were times when I was sure I knew what was going to happen next and I was always wrong! The twists and turns provided a lot of intrigue.
Plan on reading the entire collection
Very good
I loved this whole series.
I’M ALMOST DONE WITH IT 85 % TO GO WILL BE DONE TONIGHT
I ENJOYED IT
If you’re looking for a heartfelt, uplifting story that takes you away to a spectacular beach resort in Florida, then this is the book for you! I felt completely swept away to the beautiful, vivid setting, (which is what so many of us need these days). It was an absolute, perfect escape and I loved the characters. Judith Keim certainly knows how to deliver a feel-good novel–happy sigh guaranteed!
Strength. Courage. Resiliance. Friendship. Love. Some of the components in a beautifully written story that I could not put down. I highly recommend!
I really enjoyed the series. I purchased all of them. I wish I knew people like them!
Funny, sometimes laugh out loud, story, with wonderful believable characters. The descriptive scenery is a definite plus, which makes it a perfect beach read. Looking forward to the next book in this series. Highly recommend! Happy reading.
I loved the entire series!
Just loved this book, very easy to read and I enjoyed every minute of it!!!! Highly recommended
This book was well written and kept me interested throughout. I was especially fond of the characters
This book really touched my heart. It was equal parts realistic/unrealistic at times, but just enough realistic for me to believe it. I loved the characters so much and when the book ended, I immediately devoured the next two in the series. I wanted to cry when they were over. I fell in love with Annie and Rhonda, and whatever happened to them felt like it happened to me too.
Once you start reading, you won’t want to put this down. Set aside some time!
This was the first book I have read by Judith Keim and it won’t be the last. This was a quick read and I couldn’t put it down. I would love to live on the beach. The main characters were fun, and the story was well written. The friendship between Ann and Rhonda developed hesitantly on Ann’s part but grew immensely. Looking forward to reading the next 2 books. Ann and Rhonda meet thru their daughters and have nothing in common except they both are divorced. They join forces to re-create Rhonda’s estate into a Hotel on the beach. Amid their struggles to succeed, The Sins of the Children, a soap opera, films a number of episodes at the hotel and things get complicated in unexpected ways when Ann falls for Vaughn Sanders, the star of the show. This is such a fun read.
Love all 4 books in this Series
