This is a delightful light-hearted read that will have you longing to join these two friends as they establish a upscale boutique hotel on the sandy beaches of Florida. The unique friendship between Annie and Rhoda was warm and caring and the characters were well-developed. An undercurrent of tension moves the story along swiftly and you will love both of these slightly flawed and ever so feisty women. Spending a day at the Beach House Hotel is like a small vacation. Highly recommended.
This is a must read.
I loved the boutique hotel setting in Florida and the unlikely friendships built along their journey.
I can’t wait to read some of the other books in this series.
Have read lunch and dinner at the beach house hotel. Loved all of them
Enjoyed this book, an easy quick read over the weekend at the beach.

Judith Keim takes readers to the beach with her wonderful story of women facing their fears in order to find love again!
I had a hard time putting this beach house hotel book down! I don’t do that very many times. I recommend this for a delightful, entertaining, romantic, and realistic reading.

Easy enjoyable reading. Nothing deep or anything to truly think about.
A great read. This book I could not put down. Loved it and sometime would read it again.
beach read
I finished Breakfast at the Beach House Hotel several weeks ago and the characters are still traveling with me in my mind and heart–the sign of a masterful book. Oh–to have a friend like Rhonda!! Annie is thrust into a situation she never wanted but rises to the occasion–with the help and support of a lovely cast of characters at the Beach House Hotel. The setting and the premise intrigued me. Wouldn’t we all like the chance for a new life? I’ve always thought it would be fun to live at a hotel and now I’ve done so in my imagination.
Judith Keim writes memorable characters with grace and heart. Thank goodness this is the first in a series. I’m not ready to check out of the Beach House Hotel yet!
Life Changes Bring Success
This is the first novel in a series of wonderful women’s fiction. While the setup would certainly classify as a lovely daydream for most women, it makes for a great novel. Between former spouses, hurting children, and new loves, 2 independent women build the hotel of their dreams. The reader gets to experience their excitement, fear, sorrow, anger and so much more as they battle some things that have no rules. This is a very good story that has characters the reader gets very invested in. I am now going to read the next book in the series!
It’s been a while since I’ve read a book I could actually call “adorable.” But this one certainly fits that category. I wanted to know more about these characters, how their lives preceded after the events of this book. This author is on my list to buy the rest of the series when I have the dime.
Awesome book. Awesome writer. 6 stars.
This book hooked me from the beginning. I’ve read all that are available in the series so far. The characters are wonderful and I feel invested in their lives.
