New York Times bestselling author Tracy Wolff delivers the final installment in her thrillingly romantic Art of Pleasure series. Seven days, seven nights… One week of passion. One week of submission. One week where anything–and everything–goes. Destiny Bridges has always been driven by the images in her head. For most of her life, her art has been everything to her, with people and life … been everything to her, with people and life and even sex coming in very distant seconds.
Until journalist Heath Lewis comes to town to interview her for one of the top art magazines in the world. Suddenly he’s asking all kinds of questions she doesn’t know how to answer…and pushing her in ways she never imagined possible.
Ways that have her craving him and the pleasure he so effortlessly gives her.
With Heath, Destiny lets her body take control for the first time in her life. For one week, she gives herself over to all the wicked, wonderful things Heath demands of her, and in doing so learns more about herself–and her art–than she ever dreamed possible.
But when the week is over and Heath is still pushing for more–pushing for everything–she must decide if the changes he’s brought to her life, and her art, are changes she can live with for the rest of her life.

This is the third book in the Art of Pleasure series and it was missing anything to do with a relationship. I really did like Heath and Destiny and the idea of them together but the insta-sex was just that.
Heath is a reporter and he is going to write a story on Destiny and her art. When Heath is left waiting on Destiny at the restaurant almost an hour late, he decides to drive to her house to get his story.
Destiny doesn’t want to do the story but she does want to meet Heath, he intrigues her. She wants to get to know him and all about his travels.
They have a chemistry that is off the charts and the passion only gets hotter between them. Will their short time together be all there is between them? Can they work things out to stay together?
As I said, I really liked the idea of this story but for a short story, it took me over a day to finish it. I could not make myself pick it up to read it. It still has Tracy Wolff’s writing style and that made it readable. Read it for the insta-sex of nothing else.

“I love that she’s trouble. Love even more that she gives as good as she gets.”
I’m a big Tracy Wolff fan, her writing style just does it for me. Also, I really enjoy art themed stories so The Art of Pleasure series has been a hit for me. The ‘pleasure’ part makes it a Win/win.
While some readers might not love the shorter stories, I do! It’s really nice for me to be able to pick up something that I know I’ll have time for, to fit in-between my other projects. Sometimes, I just need a good story to clear my mind after something heavy, ya know? These Dirty Bits from Carina Press are like a chocolate kiss, decadent and delicious.
Break Me is different than the other books in the series because this artist is female. She’s not alpha or bossy, she’s sassy and sweet. Destiny is fun and flirty and full of life. But, she’s also got a past she’s not sharing. Heath understands that well, he’s honed his detection skills over the years. Being a journalist he can read between the lines and he can pick up on things others can’t.

I am enjoying the variety and different ways that authors have interpreted “The Dirty Bits” in this series from Carina Press. I would recommend that you give them a try – and remember the premise of all the ‘good’ bits in a short story and judge them on that basis. They are quick, often cheeky, forays into passion, often with a quick transition into romance. Sometimes a short, sexy story is just what you need! This is the third in an arts-based group of stories by Wolff, and I enjoyed it for what it was billed to be. I particularly loved that her art was in glass blowing, which requires strength as well as skill and vision. It ensured that she was every bit as interesting as the injured Heath.
Heath may have travelled the world covering dangerous meaningful stories as a journalist, but Destiny walking out of her lake naked, and utterly secure, throws him. From there on the chemistry is clear, the article takes a back seat and we see two people give themselves over to a new level of pleasure. Will they make it long term… that is for us to decide, but I think Wolff gave us enough interaction that we can hope so.

This is the third book in this quick read series. I have read the previous books and for me, this one is by far the worst. I found it very hard to read.
You have instant sex in the first few pages and when there could have been a developing relationship or at least friendship, it was just more sex. Yes, I know that these are supposed to be erotic, but there was no chemistry between the characters and it was incredibly disjointed in the writing style.
At times, I was almost guessing at what the book was actually supposed to be about because I was trying to make sense of what was happening.
I would skip this one in the series if I were telling someone to read them. The first two were much more cohesive and made a lot more sense.

Break Me is a short story by Tracy Wolff that you can finish in a matter of hours. I liked that the book was short but that is just about it, to be honest.
Yes, romance books are my favorite to read but they have to have a plot. With, Break Me, they meet, they have sex and the cycle continues. While Heath and Destiny do have chemistry, there is no doubt about it, the book is basically just sex. Sure, there are some other parts to the book so that there is a break from the sex but there really is no plot.
Even though Break Me, was not for me, I will continue to read books by Tracy Wolff.
I encourage you to check out other reviews before making a final decision on whether this book is for you or not.
Destiny Bridges is a famous artist who creates masterpieces out of glass and journalist Heath Lewis is getting the pleasure of interviewing the closed off artist. Heath is a Pulitzers Award winning war journalist who was injured on the job, left with a bum leg but had decided to accept this interview because he has always loved Destiny’s work.
As soon as these two meet, the chemistry is off the charts and they decide to give each other one week of exploring what is happening between them. Of course one week is not enough time and these two quickly realize that there is something real between them.
Break Me is a fun, sexy novella that I really enjoyed. Destiny and Heath are both fun, entertaining characters and really loved the story line of her glass blowing. This was a great, quick read.
Break Me is book 3 in The Art of Pleasure series. These naughty, filthy stories are fun and sexy. I enjoy the ‘dirty bits”. As a quick hit, it has a sexy story with instalust followed by some instant gratification. No need to wait in these erotic romps. Just be prepared to need to take the edge off…
I absolutely love the Dirty Bits series by Carina Press! They are short tales that are bite-sized pieces of romance to be consumed within a few hours. Delightful and decadent, these no bs stories are just the right amount of sweet and spicy! The stories are quick and oh so much fun!
Tracy Wolff has written three stories in her Art of Pleasure series and I have enjoyed all three. Destiny is our heroine in Break Me and she is quite the whirlwind! She knows what she wants and goes after it until she gets it. Being a glass artist, sometimes that takes long hours, but her finished product is worth all her hard work. When she agrees to an interview with one of the leading magazines in the country, she is unprepared for the feelings that surface upon meeting the interviewer-Heath.
Heath is an investigative journalist covering all types of stories, most recent in war torn areas. Disabled while on assignment, Heath is still coming to grips with all the things he can not do anymore. A complete fan of Destiny’s work, he jumped at the chance to take the assignment and interview her. He is not prepared for Destiny herself and what she wants from him. Let’s just say is isn’t his journalistic prowess!
I really devoured this quick read! I love these fast and furious stories as they get right to the point! Destiny and Heath were like throwing gas on a roaring fire! They were totally consumed with each other and I loved it! Bring along something cold to drink as this is sure to get your motor running!
I voluntarily chose to review a gifted copy of this book by the publisher through NetGalley. The rating and review are my opinion.
It took me under an hour to read it. I know they’re meant to be short and steamy, which they are, but the beginning when they met and just started going at it about 2 minutes later was just super weird to me. Things move super sexy fast in 5 days.
This book is hot, and full of sexy moments. In a short time these characters discover that with each other they don’t feel broken anymore. Which is a good thing because they break down their walls and confide in each other. Feeling the release needed to be happy.
