Refreshing, inspiring, a sports romance that hits all the sweet notes — Break Line is now one of my favorites! There is so much to love. Emery & Bash’s meet-cute still has me grinning from ear-to-ear, and I absolutely adore the Florida setting and the surfing elements.

I loved this story! Emery and Bash are EVERYTHING! She is full of sarcasm, wit, and loyalty. He is charming and devoted. Bash has lost himself and his love for his sport…Emery knows what she wants just not how to get it. Watching them heal each other and fall in love was a beautiful story. This was a great debut novel, and I cannot wait for more!
Okay!!!! So first of all this book is really good. I know this is only the beginning but so worth it the wait for the next one. Nash and Emery are everything together. They both come from broken lives.and I love how they help each other out. Even after the book ends you know the journey isn’t over.
I absolutely loved this book.
Bash and Em’s banter is what made me love this couple, you couldn’t help but fall in love with them.
This was the first book I read from Sarah but I will be reading more.
I myself don’t like surfing but I love reading a good book about a hot surfer.
Two surfers trying to overcome obstacles to get back to where they were. One family included, one trauma induced. Awesome story of helping one another recover. Loved every minute of it!
The story hits you with waves of emotion. Emery has experienced a traumatic event and even though it still is with her every day, she is strong, resilient and is determined to make her dream come true. Then she meets Bash, he is confident and at the top of his game, but can’t deal with his family. These two balance each other out and the connection they from with one another is instant. The adventure that these two take you on is emotional and heartfelt. Bash and Emery make each other realize their strengths and are there for each other that you want to root for these two the moment they meet. I can’t wait to read more about Emery and Bash!
Break Line is the debut novel by Sarah E. Green and I loved it! I loved Emery and Bash! Bash was swoony and Emery was sassy and sarcastic! They had great chemistry and I loved the banter. They were cute together! I also loved Emery and Brit’s friendship. Looking forward to reading more from this author!
It’s almost impossible to think this is the first book Sarah E. Green wrote.
It was so well written that you get to the point where you think you are part of the story as well.
You cars about her characters and you root for their happiness.
“The Ocean is my heart. My first love. A part of who I am.”
Emery seems to have it all. A loving family, amazing friends, a great education but there is something missing; The Ocean.
After a terrible accident, Em has to decide if she is ready to overcome her fears and be truly honest not only to herself but also with her loved ones.
Her journey is not easy. She is still young and will continue to make mistakes, but she learns to leave the lies and fight for her First love but not alone. She will do it with someone who doesn’t judge her but admire her and want to walk beside her. Our lovely Bash.
The darkness within you is where beauty shines the brightest.”
One of the things that make Bash and Em connect is their love for the Ocean. But also, their fears, their secrets and their dreams.
Their relationship starts to evolve in something bigger and so beautiful that has the capacity to heal a broken heart.
Bash is the most understanding and supportive man
I loved how he grow as a character and how respectful was with Em and her decisions. He never try to manipulate her or force her to do anything. He even felt more attracted to that independence she has. But he also has a turmoil past.
He learns that home is where you feel loved and welcomed, not the place you were born.
Sarah did an excellent job with this story. It’s pretty obvious she is as much in love of her characters as we are. The narrative is fantastic, the pace on point, the character development left me speechless and the story itself, was one of my favorites to read in these uncertain times.
Can’t wait for more of the other characters. There is still too much to discover.
