Beckett Steele knows what he wants and he’s finally going after it. But there’s one thing that might complicate his mission. It was easy to sign the legally-binding contract prohibiting a public relationship when he had no intention of falling in love. He agreed to participate in a reality television show in order to help promote his best friend’s new skateboarding company, but that was before he … he met Jordan Slattery. Now, he’s realizing that signing that contract might be the biggest regret of his life.

I’ve been a fan of all Ali Dean’s series for quite a while now. All of her books are so amazing, and this new skateboarding series is no exception. After Brazen Rush, I spent time on Youtube looking up different tricks and skateboarding videos. Brazen Steele has me all up in my feelings!! Another amazing book for the highly addicted Brazen Series. This book centers around skateboarding phenom Jordan Slattery who has attracted quite a following both in her personal life and now online. Jordan is just a girl who just loves to skate for the sake of skating. She is very honest and refreshing. She has no idea how good she actually is and she learns that she has a competitive streak in her. As soon as she gets her personal life somewhat situated and has developed a new normal, certain forces and fears from her past work together to stop her from getting the happy ending that she definitely deserves. Will Jordan and Beck be able to persevere or will fame tear them apart?

First off I will say this, this second book leaves us on a crazy cliff and I’m not so patiently waiting for the next book!! Okay that being said now I can review this incredible second book in the Brazen series. Beck finally grows a pair and gets his girl. But it’s never that simple. They have a few obstacles in their way before the can move forward. I gave a feeling the next book will blow us away. And I can’t wait!

Will they be able to hold on to their happiness when everything is swirling around them
Brazen Steele is the second book in the Brazen series. It starts where Brazen Rush ended and continues the story of Jordan Slattery and Beckett Steele. Be warned that this book does end on a cliffhanger so the next book, Brazen Girl will need to be read.
This is a nicely written book which has a good story-line and wonderful characters. This was a really enjoyable read that will touch your heart no matter what age you are.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
She always leaves us wanting more , amazing book the stories always draws you in and can’t wait for the next book
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Ali Dean always show us strong characters.
This book was beyond amazing! I love the characters so much especially the main ones I can not wait for book 3 and 4. The Brazen series is the first book I ever read by Ali Dean except for one other story but I will say the brazen series is by far my favourite by Ali as of right now.
I loved this addition to the series but the ending left me so twisted! I need the next book in the series. I just want them to be together without all the issues.
5 stars for Brazen Steele by Ali Dean. This is book 2 in the Brazen series. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions stated are my own. Let me start by saying Ali Dean is killing me with these books. This book picks up right where book 1 left us. Beckett is ready to take what he wants and that is Jordan. However, what is going to happen when they can’t be out in the open. These two are at the beginning of their relationship and they are already having struggles. I can not wait to see what will happen next. I absolutely adore Jordan’s character. While you read you can feel how much she loves skateboarding and her feeling for Beck. These two have a chemistry that jumps off the pages at you. I am loving the story and the characters. I am excitedly waiting for book 3.
Headline: Decent second book, looking forward to the next in the series
Brazen Steele was an okay second book in that it had some shortcomings, but nothing that was enough to turn me off of the series. A strong (albeit cliffhanger!) ending also helped seal the deal of wanting to read the next book. There was a fair bit of internal angst, which wore on me in the middle of the book and I feel like it bogged down when it focused mostly on that for a number of chapters. But all in all there was a lot of good skateboarding/competition, which Dean writes so well. I wished there were more of it for that reason, but also felt like she is maybe using that to keep us interested, giving enough to satisfy but keep us wanting more. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book, which has been promised to NOT be a cliffhanger, thank goodness. I’m also interested to see how Dean resolves some of the social media conflict in this series. Her characters have good attitudes about it in the book, but I’m interested to see if there’s much to the resolution, or any consequences for trolls and people who are horrible online.
I received and ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Book 2 may be a bit slower than the previous book, but I enjoyed how Jordan and Beck are able to find themselves and their relationship. My favorite thing about this book is the real way Ali writes about social media’s influence on people. Although Jordan is mature and very self aware, it was so authentic to see how social media can effect every aspect of her life. This is such a honest topic for any person and I am anxiously awaiting the next book to see how this all turns out!

I’ve been a huge fan of Ali Dean from the Pepper Jones series on and she just keeps getting better. I was initially wary of a Beck-Jordan pairing due to their large age and life experience gap, but I like that this is something that both characters considered. This book picks up right where Brazen Rush left off, and the reader is immediately immersed back in the characters’ worlds. I did find Lucy, Ellie, and Zora more annoying this time around, but their behavior seemed pretty age-appropriate so it made sense. I highly recommend this book, and series, to anyone who likes low-drama, smart romance heroines with an abundance of common sense.

Ali Dean knows how to channel young female athletes as they grow and mature both as athletes and as adults, including the trials and tribulations that are found both on and off the field – with slow burn romance that builds into an inferno certainly part of the mix. She did it perfectly with cross country running in her Pepper Jones series (highly recommended by the way), somehow perfectly capturing exactly how I felt doing that way back in my high school years. I know nothing about competitive skateboarding, but her new Brazen series certainly has that same feeling of genuineness. It’s also a wonderful series even ignoring the sport. I totally enjoyed book 1, and now with book 2 I’m totally addicted. This is just great stuff and I most definitely highly recommend it.
Loved this book!!! Cannot wait for the next. I found myself really connecting with the characters and relating to them.

ARC review. Brazen Steele exceeded my already high expectations for an Ali Dean book. I have read and loved all of her books. After each series I think to myself that they can’t get any better. Brazen Rush was a great beginning to her new series but Brazen Steele just blew me away. I was left speechless with my mouth hanging open and seriously desperate for the conclusion. Hurry!
This was such a great read. Beck and Jordan are explosive together. I couldn’t put this down. The only thing that got me was the ending and having to wait for the next book.
Can Beck get and keep the girl?
We left Beck on the beach where he has made the decision to go after what he wants once and for all, Jordan. But does his plan work out or will it all backfire once Jordan realised how deep his contract is with the reality he is about to do.
I don’t want to give anything away with this one but you will need to have read Brazen Rush before this as it starts where book one leaves off. This one does not disappoint though and I am anxious to find out what happens next.
I voluntarily read this book for an honest review.
Fantastically written with a suspenseful plot and a promise for more
I hoped this one would be even better than the first part. I wasn’t disappointed. This part kept me on my toes. I was progressing through the pages and had to hold my breath several times. There was perfectly build tension and as a reader I was making up different scenarios in my head as to what could happen next. The story of Jordan and Beckett continues and they are showing more and more of their qualities, inner turmoil and their vulnerability starts to surface. While their feelings and emotions get tested their friends and family are with them. Also the secondary characters’ threads are not set aside. Wonder how it will all be tied in the next books. I will not write more about plot itself as not to give away anything. But this book really took me through the roller-coaster of emotions and at the end left me wrecked with a gaping mouth.
Brazen Steele is book two of the Brazen series. It can not be read as a standalone, you must read Brazen Rush first. Brazen Steele picks up where Brazen Rush left. I am hooked on Beckett and Jordan’s story. i was happy that this one started with Beckett finally saying how he feels. When these two get together it’s great but there are a lot ups and downs for them. I was expecting an easy going happy ever after but there is stressors on their relationship and this one end with a cliffhanger. I’m so hooked on these two I can’t wait for the next one but I’m definitely nervous for it too because of how this one ended.
The second book in the Brazen series!
The last book left us wondering what will happen to Jordan and Beck. BRAZEN Steele starts exactly where the last book ended. I liked this book even more than the first one because it was a touch more drama involved
Jordan is gaining more and more attention. For her skateboarding and cause she’s linked to the guys. She’s also struggling with some leftover issues from her past. But she also opens up a lot and learns how to be herself in college
In BRAZEN Steele we see Beck as protective as usual – I love this about him even though I like my heroes a little bit rougher around the edges I can appreciate the fact that this guy is a perfect 10
This series is like reading about Pepper and Jace again – only in the skateboarding scene! Love it!
Can’t wait to read more of Jordan and Beck
An exciting second installment in the Brazen series
This New Adult novel begins immediately following the events within the cliffhanger ending of Brazen Rush, which is Book 1 of this exciting, contemporary, sports-romance series. It is essential to read these books in order. The entire series functions as one, long, serialized novel about the same two protagonists: 18-year-old college freshman and skateboarding phenom, Jordan Slattery, and 25-year-old, international, skateboarding champion, Beckett Steele.
The story begins with a bang as Beck finally overcomes the hesitation he felt throughout Book 1 about dating Jordan, due to her much younger age. They spring full bore into a committed romance, but unfortunately for the potential survival of their relationship, Beck signed a contract for a reality show well before he met Jordan. A main legal requirement of the contract is that, for an entire year, he must present the public image of a single man. Jordan agrees to the need to keep their connection a secret, but neither of them could have imagined how painfully difficult it would prove to be to maintain the fiction that they are merely friends.
This second installment of the romantic adventures of Jordan and Beck is a fun and often sexy read. There are not quite as many of the delightful skating scenes in this book as the first one, but the romance itself heats up quite a bit, and I continue to greatly admire and enjoy Jordan and Beck, as individuals and as a couple.
As is the case with Book 1, this installment in the series also ends in a cliffhanger, and quite a frightening one. I am looking forward to Book 3 with bated breath to find out what happens next.
I rate this book as follows:
Heroine: 5 stars
Hero: 5 stars
Subcharacters: 4 stars
Romance plot: 4 stars
Skating plot: 4 stars
Setting: 4 stars
Writing: 5 stars
Overall: 4.5 rounded to 5 stars

I am loving this series. There is so much chemistry between Jordan and Beck that you can really feel it as they struggle to figure out their relationship, insecurities and everything that goes with it. I could not put it down and am on pins n needles waiting for book 3.
