It only takes a second for her world to come crashing down.Jordan’s crash is a wake-up call for everyone.Recovering from injury brings new challenges no one is expecting or prepared to handle. Jordan begins to doubt that she has what it takes to make it as a pro skateboarder. Is she tough enough to be part of Beckett Steele’s world? Or is this crash a sign that she’s not cut out for it?With the … cut out for it?
With the filming of a reality television show around the corner, Beck is forced to re-evaluate his priorities. The risks that come with being one of the world’s best skateboarders aren’t always what they seem. Add Jordan to the equation, and the dangers take on a whole new meaning.
A few seconds can change everything, especially mid-air on one of the largest half pipes in the world.
(This is the third book in the Brazen series which should be read in order.)

This has been a whirlwind for both Jordan and Beck. I liked that Jordan is coming into her own. Hopefully things will settle down for them both.
Brazen Girl takes an emotional journey
Brazen Girl is the third book in the Brazen series by Ali Dean. It starts where Brazen Steele ended and continues the story of Jordan Slattery and Beckett Steele. Jordan has had a bad accident and in this book she is having to recover from it. At the same time Beckett is having to fulfill his contract and has to be away from her to film the reality TV show. It has left her questioning a lot in her life including her ability and talent to skate but Beckett is still determined to be there for her to support her in her recovery and her emotional journey. The accident has also affected Beckett who takes an emotional journey along with Jordan.
This third book is well written and the story-line takes a much more emotional journey turn in Brazen Girl. Jordan has had a life changing experience and she has to now figure out what that means and how she wants to go forward, deciding on her path.
This book does not end with a cliffhanger like the previous two but it is not the end of the story for Jordan and Beck. There will be at least one more book in this series and I can’t wait to read it.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Jordan’s reaction to the cliffhanger events of book two was the best part of this book for me – I liked seeing those consequences and her working her way through them. This one didn’t have cliffhangers like the first two did, but still sets things up nicely for a final book. I haven’t really felt emotionally attached to Beck and Jordan’s romance throughout, but I like that I have found this series to consistently be a comforting and quick escape from reality.
This is the third installment of the Brazen Series and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Watching the character development over this series has been enjoyable to say the least. We get a good sense of the struggles and frustrations that Jordan and Beck go through. Both of them have obstacles that they try to overcome and prove that through a lot of perseverance and sacrifice, anything is possible. Plus, they have really amazing friends that even I’m jealous of (and yes, I know they are all fictional characters). This is one of the reasons why I love Ali Dean’s characters and storylines so much though. She keeps it real and maintains endearing characters that you can’t help but to love. Plus, she brings up valuable lessons when it comes to certain topics. For example, cyber bullying. The way Ali Dean navigates around this and demonstrates her characters handling it was pretty inspiring.
I can’t wait to see what the fourth book will bring. I know it’s going to be pretty spectacular and I honestly can’t wait to read it!!
After the horrible accident, Jordan’s life is really shaken up and she finds herself questioning her abilities and whether she can handle life in the spotlight, especially with how the public can so quickly turn against you. Beckett is amazing as he seems to know she needs some space and time to figure it all out for herself. He doesn’t push, just supports and is there if she needs him. It’s a time for growth and healing, for regaining confidence. These two handle it so well. And the reader can feel their emotions as they realize the dream doesn’t have to end.
This is really a good series that makes itself special to the reader in the story line and how well the characters are written. Those life-changing moments are so real and mean so much. Grab your copy and watch as Jordan gathers her strength and finds out who she can count on in her life.
Beck and Jordan are my couple! There’s a lot to get through here after Jordan’s accident but they’re steadfast and they have to go through a lot of growth within themselves. I loved reading the journey and how Jordan had to come to terms with what she really wanted to do and what she was capable of.
Ali Dean has done it again!! I absolutely loved this 3rd book in the Brazen Series. After the cliffhanger of book 2, Jordan goes through a lot of changes both emotionally and psychologically to turn her life around. Loved the dynamics of all of the characters in this book and how they relate to one another. Jordan and Becks forever!

The third book in the series and so far I think the best. It picks up right after Jordan’s accident and how she handles her recovery and Beck’s filming stint on “Shred Live”. She made some not so popular decisions at that time (no spoilers!) that did work out at the end. Although we did get some bits and pieces of what went on in the “house” during filming, I would have liked more details about what Beck went through while he was stuck there for those months. Jordan did a lot of growing up while recovering at her parent’s home during the summer and it was sweet when she and the gang got back together in California. I’m so eager to see where the story goes in book four, although will also be sad because it will also be the end of the story :(.

Brazen Girl is such a fantastic book, filled with all the things that make a great Sport Romance and a wonderful series! The characters are rich and full of life, and very relatable. And the storyline is filled with all of that goodness that make Ali Dean’s books the sweet gems that they are. As usual she infuses the characters’ love for their sport, in this case, skateboarding, with knowledge and understanding. If you are looking for your next great sport romance, this series is sure to hit the perfect spot! *Note is book 3 in a 4 book series and is not a standalone. 5 Fantastic Stars!
OMG, I absolutely love this series so far. I love Jordan and Beck together! They have such a solid relationship. Cannot wait for the fourth and final book to come out in September. I definitely recommend any Ali Dean books, but especially this series.

This book grabs your attention from the beginning and doesn’t let go until the end. Even then, you are like wait, I want more!!! To see how much Jordan has matured from the first book to this one is amazing and makes you want to jump and cheer for her. Ali Dean’s character become your friends, not just characters in a book. After coming back from an injury caused by her anxiety due to cyber bullying, she is stronger and faces her problems head on instead of avoiding them. The attraction and love between her and Beck are just WOW! I loved reading about how her confidence is coming back and how Beck being there helps her, but also love seeing her want to be known for more than just being Beck’s girlfriend. September cannot get her fast enough for Book 4, Brazen Tricks.
Brazen girl is a good read that. It is the third book in the four book series. Ali could leave it here but there’s a few things still going on that she needs to finish up. Can’t wait to read the last book and see how it ends
ARC review
I don’t know what it is about this series, but I’m always patiently waiting for the next book. Maybe it’s the likable and relatable characters that brings a happy smile to my face. Jordan and Beckett’s journey has it ups and down but their chemistry and attraction stays strong and true. I loved how this newest addition to the series plays out, but I can honestly tell you I’m impatiently waiting for their finally which surely will be amazing.
This is the third book in the Brazen series. It picks up directly where book 2 left off.
Jordan and Beckett have decisions to make and I’m not going to lie. I cried. I don’t want to give much away and I feel like saying anything will spoil it.
This book is heart wrenching in the best way possible.
“I want to be me. Jordan Slattery.”
Also this book doesn’t hang on a cliffhanger even though there is one more book. Will I tell you how it ends? No because you need to read it yourself.
This being the 3rd book in the series is about how Jordan was freaked out regarding social media and the effect it has on your psyche. In book 2 Jordan was obsessed with the haters on line. It took her from confident to freaked out regarding her skateboarding. When she got a concussion when she landed wrong after doing a trick. and could not skateboard until she healed. She left school and went home to recover. She decided to stay home for the next semester. Beck still has to participate in the reality show Shred Lives. A lot of craziness goes during the filming of the show. Eventually Jordan returns to California to attend college and resume her relationships there. She finally gets her confidence back and realizes that she can come back from her concussion and that she needs to not listen to what the haters say on social media.
Oh-My-Gosh! This book is totally swoon worthy!! Definitely worth the wait.
Brazen Girl is the third book in the Brazen Series.
I love when I’m reading a book series and I’m watching the main characters grow and overcome their challenges as the series goes on. Ali has never disappointed me with this. Her style of writing always has me wanting more.
With the way Brazen Steele ended, I was really needing this book to continue the story of Jordan and Beck. Watching Jordan hit rock bottom, heal and then transform into the amazing bad a** skateboarder she is was just great! And with Beck right there with her, yes they had their ups and downs but true love never goes away.
Brazen Girl has officially converted me to say that the Brazen Series is my ultimate favorite series by Ali Dean. The emotional tug this book had on my heartstrings left me craving more. The realistic response Jordan experiences portrays what a true athlete feels after a significant injury. Jordan shows that the most prominent game to overcome will always be her mind-games. Jordan displays her true worth and strength as she overcomes her fears. As she deals with her doubts, Beck is by her side. He proves that he is a worthy match for Jordan. Not only do we see the growth of their maturity in self-reflection, but also their relationship. I love that through all the highs and lows that the group undergoes the Brazen team always stands stronger on the other side. I am chomping at the bit to find out how this series will end. It’s one that I will read over and over again and never tire. I would be even more ecstatic if this continued with a spin-off series! *Hint, Hint!*
AMAZING!! Beck and Jordan’s story was so beautiful! I love how relatable both characters were. This story completely sucked me in from the very beginning and I could not put it down! FIVE STARS!!!
I loved it!!! The ending made me wanna throw my tablet!! I’m so in love with this series and am excited for the final book!
If you love Jordan in Brazen Rush and Brazen Steele, you will love her even more in Brazen Girl! She is everything! And Beckett. Oh, that boy gets me right in the feels! His determination, protectiveness, and loyalty are top notch goals. All of their friends make the story even better. I’ve said before that this series is my top read of 2020 and I stand by that claim!
