A spicy romance with a cowboy and a treasure hunter.
Henrietta has long been of the opinion that men aren’t worth her time or energy and with good reason. But when she meets the Mason “brothers”, she’s a bit surprised but her reaction to Braydon. Braydon was raised not knowing who his parents were in a brothel and didn’t believe in love or settling down. That is until his “brother”, Brody finally married the love of his life, Laura. And then Braydon met Henrietta and knew she was different from the rest but not why or how. These two go from fighting each other to fighting the bad guys and it’s an emotional journey for them both. But it’s so good!
This is the third book in the Seven Brides For Seven Brothers series. Although you can read it on its own, I would say that’s it’s better to read it in the order it was written as each character is in each story and it’s definitely building to something.

This is dramatic, suspenseful, romantic and amusing. Braydon makes a bet with his brothers that he can get the fiery Henny to fall for his charms. Henny finds out about the bet from Percy, who warned her what Braydon was up to. Henny decided to turn the tables on Braydon, by playing along until the last minute, then refuse his advances in front of his brothers. But somewhere along the way they started liking each other and enjoying the others company. Meanwhile, Hawkes is still trying to get Copper Moon. And Braydon finds out about his parents. This is such a good series, with H/h who have had hard lives, but grew into loyal, upstanding and likeable people.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion.
Braydon is intrigued by Henrietta. He charms any woman that he meets, that is until he meets Henrietta. She is independent and looking for adventure. When she is in danger she turns to Braydon. Will he be able to charm her after all?

This story by Kathleen lawless is a timeless romance. She has created a series of seven brothers that you fall in love with each of their stories. She includes elements of humor and you get a glimpse of some past characters and what they are up to now. Great book by this author!
This story starts out as friends to enemies and it is so funny to watch them as they navigate all this hate towards each other. The situations and circumstances will have you laughing and feeling emotional.
I’ve been enjoying reading this series about the seven Mason “brothers” (only two are actually blood-related brothers.) This particular story is about Brayden and Henrietta, Sir Percy’s very able treasure-hunting assistant. At the beginning of the story, there’s almost an enemies-to-lovers vibe to the story, though you couldn’t really call them true enemies. It’s more like they annoy each other. Henny is a pull-no-punches woman who has had to do much to make her way in a man’s world. Brayden considers himself quite the ladies’ man. There are some interesting plot developments, including a wager and the potential victim’s knowledge of it (without the perpetrator knowing), so the would-be victim tries to turn the tables somewhat and keep the wagerer guessing. There are definitely some good elements of humor, and it was a delight to watch the relationship evolve between Brayden and Henrietta. Hawkes is still up to no good, and it’s definitely fun to get a glimpse into the previous couples’ new marriages. A nice addition to the series.

Can a world traveler be lonely?
Kathleen Lawless has to be one of my favorite western romance writers. This book will make a fine addition to my collection and I know it is one that I will come back to again. In this third book, Braydon meets Henrietta an adventurous young woman who gets into a bit of pickle. I love that it is a mystery in a romance. This book will keep you entertained. It is a quick read; amazing characters all in a thrilling plotline I really enjoyed it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Braydon was raised in a brothel, and thinks he has women figured out. Until Henrietta. She comes to town with Percy, searching for treasure. She has traveled the world, and is fiercely independent. He makes a bet with his brothers that he’ll have her eating out of his hand before long. She find out about it, and makes plans to foil his plans. Guy Hawkes is still around, causing as much trouble as he can for everyone. This is book three of the series, and it’s as good as the last two. I’m enjoying all of these books, and can’t wait for the rest of them.

I found this book to be a very enjoyable and entertaining read! The storyline was great and even though the characters were complete opposites they had chemistry which kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book!
Henrietta was gusty wearing breeches, choosing to fight against her family’s expectations that she would marry the man who attacked her, and deciding to travel the world with her business partner Percy in search of treasure. Braydon Mason was unconventional too, having been raised in a house of ill repute. He’s attracted to Henrietta, but he only got closer to her to win a bet. The Mason’s siblings’ nemesis Hawkes is around trying to force them off their land and killing innocent people. But there’s a new marshal in town that isn’t in his pocket and is starting to look into unsolved crimes and why evidence isn’t adding up. There was plenty of suspense and spicy romance in this historical western.
Whoop! Another book in the 7 Brides for 7 Brothers series. Love it!
Braydon has always had a way with women until he meets Henrietta and she is a strong independent sassy woman who needs no man. When she runs into trouble it is Braydon who comes to her defense. Enjoyed reading the story.
