Braxtyn is the eighth book in the Mated to the Alien series about a race of aliens doomed to die if they don’t meet their fated mates. The series can be read in any order and there are no cliffhangers!

I enjoyed this story about Braxtyn and Vita. They meet after she arrests him as a fugitive, she’s a Bounty hunter and is under the impression that he’s wanted for non-payment of a debt. However, turns out this information is not correct and she’s got the wrong person. I enjoyed how their relationship developed and how they found love.

I have read some books from this author before, and I was entertained. Vita a human bounty hunter was set to pick up Braxtyn because her employer said he owes money. But, information was crossed and she got the wrong Alien. Duh ta duh….but, there is some twist and turns that you didn’t expect coming. Anyways, Once he meets her he knows right away that she is his mate. Now he had to wait to see if she wanted to claim him. Will she? Will she figure out how to get the real bounty her employer is looking for? or will she reveal something else? If you like para normal romance and action your gonna love this.

Kate Rudolph does it again. Braxtyn is another fast moving, alien adventure. Your interest is captured early, with action and tension throughout the book. The H&h are both interesting, strong characters who are believably attracted to one another. There was an enjoyable partial role-reversal with Vita as the bounty hunter competent in the use of weapons and Braxtyn the brainy engineer. It was nice to see another of the half-Detyen/Oscavian brothers find their Denya. We are also introduced to Doryan whose story is due to come.

This was an awesome read that I thoroughly enjoyed and I highly recommend. The stories and characters pulled me in from the beginning and I couldn’t stop reading until I finished. It’s an awesome read and a definite must read for any fan and I can’t wait to read more!!!

Coming right off the heels of reading Shayn I was excited to see that of the twins Braxtyn was next though I am curious to read Deakon’s story.
Braxtyn is not a warrior by any means but he is fiercely protective of his family. Having spent most of his life on a station the transition to Earth has been a hard one for him. Unlike his brothers the solitude and ability to explore is something he enjoys, actually craves. Maybe it is the looming price that is driving his need. It couldn’t be that he envies his brother and his Denya.
Vita is a warrior through and through. She doesn’t need anyone just her flying bucket and her job as a bounty hunter. That is until her next bounty stirs unwanted sensations, possibly even feelings.
Can two very opposite souls find common ground?
Is Vita’s past hold a connection to her present?
Can Braxtyn find the patience to convince a weary Vita that he can offer her what she most desires?
A partner – An equal – True love?
This was filled with twists and turns and a whole lot of “No Way!” moments that you do not see coming. The betrayals are strong and strike close leaving our heroine even more cautious of her heart. Braxtyn, despite his brooding personality in the previous book, comes alive when he is with Vita. The brooding “Eeyore” persona seems to vanish as he offers Vita the unconditional support and understanding that she needs to work through the painful events that lead to the present.
Another wonderfully sweet read that has all the action, suspense and romance that I enjoy in a solid read.
Not my favorite book by this author or even in this series but still good.I recommend it
