This book was so good and so different from Ben’s father & Uncle’s stories. Enemies to lovers, wrecked on a deserted Island, Ben & Aly find themselves in one hot situation, their story held me captivated, Daniel and Gleb’s appearance in the story made it even better!!
Brash does live up to his name. It took awhile to warm up to him. It in the end he did win me over.
Four stars for Brash !
This is the first book I’ve read by S. C. Daiko and I really liked it.
This book was so easy to read and it’s a page-turner. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down.
I really liked the relationship between Ben and Aly. At first, they were enemies and after spending time together knowing one another on the isolated island they became so connected that they couldn’t live without each other.
I also liked the way Aly she became a young independent woman and show her father that she can live on her own without his money.
If you like to read mafia romance, this is a perfect book for your summer vacation !
This is an enemies to lovers story, and full disclosure…I’m a huge sucker for them. This was well written, interesting with wildly likable characters. Brash, or Ben, is known for being…well brash, and thinks of himself as an alphahole. Yes, he said some rude and in your face things, but I instantly liked him nevertheless. Aly was not your typical mafia princess, and when they connected sparks flew off the page.
When they ended up on an uncharted island, their relationship heats up. But it feels right. It doesn’t feel sudden, like they only have each other and that’s why they gravitate to each other. The relationship seems to build on chemistry right there from the beginning. Loved to see their ingenuity while they survived, and enjoyed how the story didn’t end when they left the island. It gave me insight into each family, and I got to see Aly’s backbone.
Excellent book in the series of books, but this is easily a pure standalone.
