USA Today and International bestselling author J.C. Valentine is back with the latest in her captivating, enigmatic, and rousing world of the Spartan Riders MC…She has a secret she’s desperate to keep… under the radar, but when trouble comes knocking on her door, she finds that the one thing she’s worked so hard to protect is about to be exposed.
He has a desire that won’t be denied.
Curtis “Taco” Nash, the Spartan’s road captain, has always marched to the beat of his own drum, his only loyalty to that of his brothers and the club. Only one person has ever successfully clawed their way under Curtis Nash’s skin, and when she disappeared from his life without so much as a goodbye, he wrote her off—at least, he tried to. One mention of the one who got away, and he’s consumed with desire—and anger. He wants answers. He wants her. He’s about to get a lot more than he bargained for.
As the war between the cartel and the Spartans heats up, Taco has to decide if he’s going to protect his brothers or the new life that’s waiting for him. When everything hangs in the balance, one thing is clear: No one is safe. Will Bambi and Taco be able to come together and find the strength to take a leap of faith before time runs out?

This storyline picks up where the last book left off with the club at war with the cartel. Filled with action, drama, romance and love. Fearing for the safety of her baby and wanting more, Bambi a former FBI agent/club bunny runs keeping the baby a secret from Taco the love of her life. Like all things secrets do have a way of coming out and when they do Taco will do everything in his power to protect his woman and child. Having a child changed Bambi in a way that made her character a more likeable and redeemable person. Though I like to think Taco saw something in her that no one else did. The ending gives a glimpse there’s more to come for this MC. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from the author.
Brash was a fast paced, action pack, and love with secrets. The secrets could be the end of many amazing things. However, how will Curtis “Taco” Nash and Bambi Lane make it through these secrets?
This book was amazingly written, the story flowed perfectly and the plot was right on point the it kept me reading and wanting to know more. The best part was that you get to see/hear from all the members of the Spartan Riders MC, as well as members of the cartel.
Taco and Bambi have a secret relationship that results in more secrets when Bambi leaves Taco. When Taco finds out the reasons why she left he makes himself present in her life and also makes it known that he is not going anywhere. However with the cartel wanting the Spartan men gone will Bambi and Taco get a chance to make a run on their renewed relationship? Oh and will any of the men of the Spartan MC survive the war brewing?
Overall, I absolutely loved this book and the Spartan men and women. JC has done an great job and has can’t wait to read more about these guys and their women.
I always wondered what happen to Bambi..
Bambi is trying to start a new life, away from the club and FBI…
TACO thinks about her, even though she left without even GOODBYE…
He shows up at her doorstep, and wants answers!
This book also has the other members, within the story…
This book is full action, steam!
..and also enduring and heart felt…
There was so much going on in this book that I didn’t even realize I was at the end, that’s how engrossed into the story I was.
If you have read any of the Spartan Riders MC books then you are no stranger to Taco and Bambi, although they were not together Bambi was actually with Country at one point, but in Viggor we got a peek at Taco showing up at someones house but I just didn’t know whose house it was until now. And OMG what a great second chance at love this story was. First off you have the fact that NO ONE knew they were even together before, because there would have been hell to pay for it, until a not so comic turn of events has them reuniting.
I need to mention that although each book can be read as a standalone there is an underlying story that weaves its way through each of the books and in this one….YIKES things get very messy thanks to Country and the Cartel. I am loving this series! I cannot wait for the next book. I recommend this book to anyone that loves a juicy Motorcycle Club story or a second chance at love romance.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**
Another great installment to the Spartan Riders Series. I have loved every book in this series so far and am always looking forward to the next. J.C. Valentine does a great job with these books. My favorite thing about this series is that J.C. not only gives us the story of the main characters but there are chapters from the past characters. We get to keep reading about what they are experiencing now instead of having an outside view of it. I always like to keep up with the past characters and she not only gives us a story line that flows but she adds in more that we don’t necessarily have to have. These books have action, romance, sexy times and so much more. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like Bambi’s story but man I fell in love with Taco and Bambi. I can sympathize with the choices she made tough as the are but man she is going to have her hands full when Taco catches up with her.
I highly recommend this series.
BRASH is the fourth installment in JC Valentine’s contemporary, adult SPARTAN RIDERS erotic, MC romance series focusing on the men and women of the Spartan Riders MC. This is Spartan Riders’ road captain Curtis ‘Taco’Nash, and former FBI agent Bambi Lane’s story line. BRASH can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order as their is an ongoing war between the Spartan Riders and the Cruiz drug cartel. Curtis and Bambi’s story line begins in the previous installments wherein their relationship is kept secret from the other Club members.
Told from several third person perspectives including Curtis and Bambi BRASH follows the second chance romance between Spartan Riders MC road captain Curtis ‘Taco’ Nash, and former FBI agent Bambi Lane. One year earlier, as the war with the Cruiz cartel crossed over into their personal lives of the Spartan Riders’ families, Bambi Lane packed up leaving her hometown and Curtis behind. Their secret affair meant Bambi had no recourse with the Spartan Riders members; banned from the clubhouse, her affair with Curtis was hidden behind closed doors. Fast forward to present day wherein Bambi’s life has changed; she is free of the Spartan lifestyle but misses Curtis more than she ever could have imagined. A chance encounter with some of the Club members’ wives finds our heroine on the look out for the man that calls to her heart. Now that her secret is about to be revealed Bambi must prepare to face the wrath of the man with whom she had fallen in love. Enter Curtis ‘Taco’ Nash, Spartan Riders MC road captain who is determined to keep Bambi close by his side. The war with the Cruiz cartel continues to escalate, and everyone, including girlfriends and wives, are considered collateral damage in a game of betrayal and revenge.
BRASH looks at the volatile and dangerous MC lifestyle: the threats, the hazards, the intimidation, and the instability and insecurity of life in the MC. No one is safe when a traitor turns deadly; the Cruiz cartel will renew their attacks against the Spartan MC. The premise is dark and gritty; the characters are colorful and charismatic; the romance is a second chance for two people pulled apart by the uncertainty of the future.
After an unexpected discovery, and the Spartans showing her the door Bambi Lane decides it’s time to leave town, it’s time for a quieter, safer life. She moves to a neighboring town, finds a job and a decent home and begins her life reboot… then she runs into her foes, and it brings trouble right back to her door. Trouble in the form of a gorgeous biker who makes her heart skip a beat, and he turns her new carefully planned world upside down. She has tried to avoid this moment for over a year now, and things were going fine, until Curtis Nash wandered back into her world, and started to making demands… ones that she isn’t so sure she is willing to abide by!
For the last year Curtis “Taco” Nash has been moping around, riddled with confusion, and wondering what he did that was so wrong that she had to up and leave without so much as a goodbye. He thought they were onto something, a forever kind of something, and then she just left. He was certain she was it for him, but apparently she didn’t feel quite the same… or he wouldn’t be sitting here all alone, nursing a broken heart. Then his buddies mention running into her in a neighboring town and he decides it’s time for some answers, so he shows up on her doorstep, and starts with the questions, and soon gets answers he wasn’t prepared for…or quite sure how to deal with!
Brash is gripping, sexy and crafty little tale that will have teetering on the edge of your seat the whole way through!! In this latest offering from the Spartan Riders series, Ms. Valentine gives us a more in depth look at Curtis “Taco” Nash and the woman who managed to steal his heart… and all I can say is WOW what a read! I had my reservations about this one, mainly because of my previous knowledge about the heroine, but shortly after getting a second look at this character I started to see that she was painted in an unfair light before, and she was after all a good woman deserving of true love. She really redeemed herself in my eyes, and showed me that she was capable of so much more, and quickly had me moving into her corner and cheering her on. Taco is a tough man to handle, and I felt as though she brought her “A” game, and stood toe to toe with him time after time, and showed him she wasn’t a pushover… it was such a treat to watch them dance around on another! If you haven’t ventured into this series yet, I highly recommend you get to it, and dive into this wonderful biker filled world that Ms. Valentine has created… it’s sinfully delightful!!!
