Selma Lehmann sees demons. But what’s worse is—they see her, too. No one believes that there are monsters walking among us. No one wants to believe. But they’re real, and when Selma falls into their hands, the truth about her curse proves far worse than she could have ever known.Trapped by a demon whose singular desire is to possess her, body and soul, Selma’s only hope for freedom is to submit … for freedom is to submit to his grueling pleasures.
Branded is a prequel novella to the series Demon’s Mark. Selma’s story concludes in the next book.
Please note: this book has previously been released as a 6-part serial under the same name.

Nora Ash has once again shown us how talented she is!
This book is in a genre I have never read before, and I really fell in love with the world she has created. A world where women like Selma, a special kind with the ability to see behind the veil of a demon’s human disguise for what they really are – Demons & Lords.
Terrified all her life, moving from one psychiatric ward to the next, for the last 10 years, Selma has “not” had any of her “hallucinations”, as she believes them to be, until one fateful night when she makes a choice that will change her life – forever. Quite literally.
Now in a mental hospital, she meets her new Doctor, who introduces himself as Dr. Hershey and claims that he can help her, make her “hallucinations” disappear, but all is not as it seems and Selma soon finds out that she is far more than human, she is a Breeder, a treasure, a soon to be bought mate for the Lords.
This steamy introduction to this series is HOT, STEAMY and I could not put it down! It does end on a cliffhanger though! So be warned – BUT don’t let that deter you from getting your hands on this treasure, because there is a book 2 AND a book 3!
The author’s world build up in this first book is really good, even if most of it is at the hospital – we still get a really good impression of how this world works.
The language is easy flowing, it’s HOT and steamy at times, our dear Doctor has a dirty mouth (yum) and Selma show’s a strong character, by no means is she a meek miss willing to just lay down!
I can’t wait for book 2 Demon’s Mark ! And I highly recommend this series! 🙂

This book is a prequel to Demon’s mark, it shows Selma introduction to a whole new world, magic carpets not included, and glimpses into the hierarchy of the demon world. I love Selma so much, she is vulnerable without being annoyingly helpless which is something that is a must for me, a main character i can root for while I read. I can’t wait to see more of her!

Branded is an interesting story that I enjoyed reading. Selma’s character is quite vulnerable. Her entire life is a nightmare from which she cannot escape. I want a way out for her as much as she wants for herself. Marathin gives her hope only to add to the nightmare. In a boldly twisted moment she escapes and the next story in the series will begin. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I’m not sure what’s worse—thinking you’re crazy because you see monsters that no one else can…or finding out they’re real.
I read the original version of this story several years ago, but the author has significantly rewritten it–expanding the plot, adding fresh story lines, new characters, more back story and deeper emotions. It’s a reboot, not republishing with a new cover.
It does what prequels are supposed to. It establishes the series universe, sets the rules and introduces characters. Selma is thrown into a psych ward when she stops a demon attack, and her life is turned upside down.
At least she knows she’s not crazy now.
Very interesting and unusual
I was drawn in by the books original story the re write seems a little more tame but is just as good. I am eagerly awaiting the remain books and impatiently waiting for the sequel.
Branded by Nora Ash is a wonderful story that I have loved reading. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new sereis writen by a brand new author for me to read and I can not wait to read the next book in this wonderful series. I highly recommend this wonderful story to everyone who loves reading about demons, fantasy, erotic and paranormal romance.

I see monsters – Uniquely entertaining start to this series
—>>> Selma’s life takes a dreadful turn when she acts the Good Samaritan and ends up in an institution headed by Chief Psychiatrist Dr. Hershey. There, she is becomes privy to some disturbing truths and treatments in his care at Ravenswood House, some which make the puzzle pieces fall into place, and others which make her fear for her life. Uniquely entertaining start to this series!
This is a fantastic introduction into a new series. This is a darker read, but it is incredibly well written. The story and plot is original and the world building creates a omegaverse with unique creatures. I am very excited to read more of this series.

I REALLY liked this short beginning story. It was super interesting. I love the authors take on demons and their breeders.
Selma can see monsters. She doesn’t know what they are, but she has learned how to ignore them and pretend they are normal.
One night another woman is being taken into a dark alley by some of those monsters and Selma cant just stand by with out helping. But this ends up getting her put into a psych ward. And she can’t fool this doctor like she could the others before him. Because he is also a monster as well. He says he can help her and he can cure her. But once he does Selma ends up stumbling on some information that will change her whole life from here on out.
I am definitely intrigued about this series after reading this first book. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I love the cover! Branded is a prequel novella, and the first installment in the six parts of the Demon’s Mark Series, a dark erotica paranormal story. What did I just read? For sure, this novella isn’t a romance. The story has demons, dark erotic scenes, and dubious consent. Selma, the main character, is a strong and intriguing woman. The storyline is original, intriguing, raw, and disturbing. This is not for the faint-hearted. This story is too short, and I have no idea how to honestly rate it. I’m intrigued enough to want to read the second installment in this Series.
This is such a great set up for the coming series. Interesting world building. I appreciate that there wasn’t one big info dump (maybe a small tolerable one), but you got the info needed to see the bigger picture without getting bored or lost. Selma’s emotional turmoil is real given her history. I can’t wait to see what happens after that cliff hanger! I’m torn between hating Dr. Hershey and telling him he can twist my ring any time. Such a gloriously dirty demon-man.
This is part of a six part series that Nora Ash wrote a few years ago. She has revamped it and split it into this prequel and another novel. I never read the previous versions. Branded is the prequel to the Demon’s Mark series. Selma, the heroine, was born with the power to see demons that walk among humans on Earth. No one believes her, even after she is attacked a few times a s a child. So the spends her life undergoing several mental health treatments for psychosis. At age 27 she meets Dr. Hershey at a psychiatric hospital whom offers her a treatment to make her “normal.” She soon realizes she was not born to be “normal” and Dr. Hershey is not as sweet as the candy. This prequel is super short (I think it took me a total of one hour to read) and ends on a cliffhanger. I am anxiously waiting to read the next installment/conclusion.

This prequel was incredible! Nora Ash does it again with Branded. This story was steamy and sexy, and incredibly well written. The characters will draw you in, and the plot twists and turns. I am so excited to read the rest of the series.

Ladies, if you have been looking for an author that can satiate your dark cravings, you know those ones that live deep down in your heart where you try to deny out loud how much you love a great Alpha-Dom story. You know those Alpha-Dominance stories that after so s3xy that you feel driven to read story after story, well add Ms. Ash to that naughty list. You won’t regret it. She is the best Queen of the Alpha-Dom story. She knows just how to make you feel oh-so naughty that it is sinfully nice. No matter the genre or the situation she places her characters in, she is able to create an amazing world that piques the readers interests and actively engages their imaginations. And what a dirty imagination it is .
So if your new to Ms. Ash or coming back for more, you won’t be disappointed. She is go-to author for me and none of her works have ever been a let-down. This one is titillating and unique. Looking forward to seeing where it will go.

This is a hot, steamy and suspense filled book. Selma is able to see through demons human disguises, she has managed to hid her ability for 10 years, but after trying to stop a demon attack on another girl her life has just become very complicated. Can’t wait to see what happens to Selma when Marathin realises she has escaped.

“I really liked this book and it caught me wholly by surprise. When ‘Demon’s Mark’ arrived, it came with ‘Branded,’ which is the prequel of the series written by Nora Ash. I’d never read any of her work, so as I made my way through the first book, it was very short and about 90% sex/10% content.. though for once I didn’t mind.. as even those scenes were incredibly steamy. BUT.. BUT.. even though it felt like the equivalent of pop music for my bookshelf, I eagerly kept reading.
When I got to the main title, everything changed for the better. It’s much more substance oriented and-“
