When terminally-ill Jake Bronson emerges from an MRI with extraordinary cognitive powers, everyone wants a piece of his talent…including Luciano Battista. Posing as a pioneering scientist, the terrorist leader has been conducting cerebral-implant experiments in a quest to create the ultimate weapon against America, and Jake’s altered brain may be the key to his success. But Jake refuses to play the pawn in an unholy war, and when an innocent woman and autistic child are taken hostage to force his cooperation, he embarks on a jihad of his own. Jake is thrust into a deadly chase that leads from the canals of Venice through Monte Carlo and finally to an ancient cavern in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan–where Jake discovers his newfound talents carry a hidden price that threatens the entire human race.

Great read!!
Interesting sci-fi concept. Ending was obviously an intro to the next book so it left some items hanging.
A few too many characters but a good fantasy read.
Started off slowly but as the story got fleshed out it grabbed me and I couldn’t put it down.
After reading the 1st, i immediately bought the others in the series, and I’m saddened that it’s over. This was an incredible sorry. Something for everyone, non-stop action, characters that you truly connect with… One that I will definitely read again.
I liked the premise and the attempt to use the autistic in an origininal and optimistic light. It is an attempt to shoe that we can be better . Luckily he is a good guy a
And not some selfish bastard.
I really liked the boom and am interested in reading more by this author.
This was a roller-coaster of a ride! Lots of action with a little bit of romance. I could totally see this book (along with the others) as a T.V. series.
Loved this book! Got the next one immediately upon finishing it
Different but definitely a page turner.
Loved every word….left me wanting to read more.
I couldn’t put it down. Looking for more of his books.
Makes you think all the way through the book. Could not put this one down.
Fun to read. Not realistic.
Very good read. Gets you hooked and reels you in.
Interesting potential answer to what would you be capable of if you think that you have nothing to lose? I liked it.
I really enjoyed this book. This is not the type I usually read but it was recommended to me. I was surprised,it kept me reading way to late. I thought it was very well written.
Enjoyed reading it. Bought next book in series
Very unpredictable events. Good reading.
The story line is like no other book I ever read so it made the book hard to put down. I believe there are people that are above a genius level who have accidentally had their brains re-circuted or re-wired. What these people do throughout the story made me envious and I wanted to be like them, even for a day! I don’t know how the author came up with this story idea, but I am glad I selected this book to read.
