Loved this book!
It’s hard to believe that a woman severely brain damaged can be such a compelling and sympathetic character. The book is really well-written, a page turner in the best possible way.
Great characters both humorous and suspenseful.
I loved this book. It relates what happens in brain injury rehab in a realistic way. A lot of that is really funny. I work in special education and rehab and while a lot of it is sad, some of it is funny. The book tells of the difficulty a person has in rehabilitation after a TBI. I recommend this book to anyone in the field and to those who want to learn more
I enjoyed this book so much, I couldn’t leave it for more than half an hour at a time; I read it in a weekend afternoon& evening with two breaks. This has a fresh and different plot that showcased the healing progression of the main character that was absolutely fascinating to me. There were more than one suspect for the crime committed, but not so many that a reader couldn’t settle on one. The time frames flashed back and forward, but were not at all difficult to follow. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys mysteries with a psychological and very human aspect.
Loved the original storyline.
I don’t generally write reviews unless I REALLY like a book or dislike one. I haven’t finished Brain Damage but have enjoyed it so much that I decided to review it anyway.
Rarely do I connect so well with the characters that I actually feel like I know them personally. Not that way with Charly. She is so well depicted that I feel myself completely drawn into her life. Sometimes I want to just shake her and plead with her to go with her instincts where Clark is concerned.
I will actually be disappointed when I finish the book. Will definitely be buying others by this author.
This book was great! The storyline was different and I liked the way the story unfolded to a good ending.
What a great story. I totally enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone who has had divesity in there life. You will see the determination in this young ladies life. The twists and turns are surprisingly witty and thought out. You all will love it.
Well written. Very different premise and viewpoint. End was both known and unknown. Hard to say “like” about the subject mater but it was certainly intriguing and absorbing. Actually kind of scary in an offbeat sort of way.
I work as an RN and enjoyed the reality of the situation in a fictional account!
It was a page turner
Good book. Intriguing.
