Entitled heroines are not my favorites, but this book was overall an OK read. Anna returns to Bracken Ridge Equestrian Center which is owned by her parents and will one day be hers. Her parents assign her to work with their general manager Jeremy to learn the business end of things. She decides as the owner’s daughter she is entitled to do what she wants, how she wants, and when she wants. Jeremy is not amused. They lock horns, but there is crzy chemistry as well. I didn’t like Anna throughout the majority of the book, so that certainly tainted my enjoyment. But if you enjoy those kind of characters, have at it. Just an OK read for me.

This is an entertaining story of two people who grew up together, attracted to each other but never moving on it .. until she moves home to work on her dad’s ranch where she finds out he’s the manager. She has a bratty attitude which he handles with spankings. This is a sweet romance with a fun dialogue and story line. The story moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.

Fantastic job Kelly, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Anna Fletcher comes home after graduation from college and finds out her best friend/only man she has ever loved is now the stable manager and she isn’t happy about it or working for him ,but when she tries to undermine him time after time he has had enough and puts her in her place but will it be enough for them to still work together or will a new woman win his heart? This book was absolutely fantastic and kept me hooked from the beginning until the end and absolutely loved Anna and Jeremy.
This quick story was a wonderful read with characters that grew up together! Anna graduates from college and unable to find any work in her chosen field returns home to the family horse farm where Jeremy also works at the farm! Anna has a mouth on her which gets her in quite a bit of trouble with Jeremy who takes it upon himself to punish Anna. The evolvement of the relationship between Anna and Jeremy made this book a very enjoyable read!
When Anna can’t find a job after graduation in her field of study, she decides to go home and work the family ranch where she grew up. The problem? Jeremy, the man she’s had a huge crush on since she was a child, is the manager and she’ll have to take orders from him! Anna comes across as a spoiled brat and of course Jeremy is going to try and correct that attitude with a few spankings when needed. It definitely was an entertaining read
A wonderful read, thoroughly enjoyable
When Anna Fletcher returns to her home town and the Equine centre that had made such a great difference to her during her younger years. Bracken Ridge where she returns to the calm and beauty of the horses that are in her care and from who she gains such a lot of tranquillity and trust, these are very special moments.
Jeremy McCrae is working at the centre and she still remembers the way she had felt for him a true teenage crush, her first that has stayed in her memory. It seems that even though she has been away for years when she sees him once again her heart flutters and her hand feel clammy. If anything, he seems to have simply gotten taller and more handsome and he seems totally oblivious to her feelings.
She has a great number of ides she is hoping will be attractive to customers however, with Jeremy as the boss at the equine centre she has to put all these ideas past him as she wants him to help ensure the centre grows and goes from strength to strength.
However, it will be very difficult having to take orders and direction from a man she has known since childhood, had a teenage crush on and is now back as an adult she still finds she’s equally as attracted to him.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
This was a quick, sweet read with a very happy ending. If you like horses and heavy handed cowboys then I recommend checking this out.
Anna has returned home to Bracken Ridge, the family horse ranch, to find Jeremy working as the manager. He’s her childhood friend and she’s had a crush on him since before she could remember. I really liked the interactions between Anna and Jeremy and when she gets a bit out of hand, a few spankings are required. This was a fun and entertaining read and I quite enjoyed it.

This is the first book that I’ve read from this author but I’d heard good things so I was really looking forward to reading it. It wasn’t overly long & being easy to read it took me just a couple of hours to get through. The characters were well drawn, & as an Australian I was looking forward to supporting a Kiwi author. I loved the premise of the story. Anna, unable to find a job in her field after uni, comes home to start working at the family stables. Jeremy, her lifelong friend, has recently been made manager. There was some great interaction between these 2 characters that made for entertaining reading. However, until the final wrap up, there was almost no romance. You were privy to some of Anna’s thoughts about her feelings regarding Jeremy but without anything actually happening between them, it was all just thoughts on the breeze. Having taken that route, it would have been great to be a bit more privy to Jeremy’s thoughts so that it felt like things were progressing between them. There was also interaction between Anna & a minor character that just didn’t seem to go anywhere & it left me feeling like it was all just in Anna’s head. This review probably sounds quite harsh but I did enjoy it & will happily read more from this author, partly to see whether I just started on a weak book. I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I expected or hoped to.
First comes friendship, then comes……..
This is a sweet DD story of a two people who have grown up together with a common love of horses at the Bracken Ridge Equine Center, the Fletcher family business.
Jeremy McCrae came to work for the Fletcher family and he and Anna Fletcher have been best friends. She goes off to college and not finding a job in Child Physiology returns home to Bracken Ridge, shocked to find Jeremy is still there and the manager.
The dialogue between these two is entertaining and since Jeremy can’t fire her, when she gets snarky and out of line, he spanks her. Their relationship from friendship to love is obvious to those around them, but neither one admits feelings for fear of rejection. This story is sweet with no sex, only spankings, and a HEA ending.
