And then I meet Elle. Her friend has hired me to escort her to a wedding, but Elle doesn’t know we’re just pretending.
There’s a fire between us I never expected. A connection I haven’t felt in so long. One kiss, and I’m losing all control.

In typical Kendall Ryan style, she sucked me in from the start and had me devouring this book in no time! Nic and Elle are HOT! The chemistry between them is intense from the start, and just continues to grow.
I love that Nic isn’t a player. That he isn’t “anti” relationship or marriage, unlike a lot of heroes we read about in books. He’s sweet, he’s sexy, and he’s everything I look for in a hero. I love seeing Elle emerge from her good girl side. She is a fun heroine, who I could definitely see being besties with.
This story was absolutely perfect, and I can’t wait for the next story!
I would definitely recommend this book.
***4 Stars***
Before even diving into this baby I knew it would be one of those where I’d be anxiously awaiting the shoe to drop and yet not wanting it to at the same time, and I was absolutely correct. I spent almost the entire book with my stomach in knots KNOWING what was going to happen, but I also ended up smiling like a goof ball through most of it as well (thank goodness for #snowmaggedon since I was at home so no one witnessed it) and didn’t want it to end.
I really liked Nic and Elle. Nic is a charming S.O.B, he really is and it isn’t solely due to his occupation. It’s simply apart of his DNA, which made it hard to not like the guy. But he also has this sense of honor that comes out at the most inopportune, or not – totally depends on your POV – that proves what a good man he is. Elle is a sassy thing who leads with her heart. She has her hang ups and may not be the most confident of people, but when she chooses a path she goes for it and gives it her all.
While there weren’t too many surprises on their journey to their HEA, it was still an enjoyable one regardless of the anticipation (anxiety) of when the shoe would drop. Experiencing Nic and Elle getting to know one another was a lot of fun and the chemistry between them was HAWT! As for that shoe…I was honestly irritated by how it was dropped, I mean there were only so many ways it could have happened, but I wanted to reach out and smack the person who did it and what was said because I was all “oh no you didn’t” but it happened. I also could have gone for more groveling, but knowing the kind of person Elle was, I got why there wasn’t and was happy for them in the end.
This was a fun, quick read that was sweet, smexy and while low on angst definitely kept me on my toes. And after reading that little tease of The Hookup Handbook I cannot wait to get to know Case a lot better!

5 Star Review Boyfriend For Hire by Kendall Ryan
Where do I start? From the first chapter Kendall Ryan had me hook line and sinker.
I was intrigued by the premise of this book and couldn’t wait to dive in. Unbeknownst to Elle, her friend hires Nic (an escort) to be her date for a wedding, poor Elle she has no clue that it is not real.
The last thing Nic expects is to fall for for her. The connection between Nic and Elle is intense and Nic is totally swoon worthy. Not only is the attraction between Nic and Elle smoldering but a genuine friendship develops.
What what will happen when Elle finds out who Nic really is?Can she forgive him or will it all be over before it can really begin?
The writing was strong and this was such a fabulous read that I have no trouble recommending you one click; you won’t be disappointed.
I was riveted and had a hard time putting it down.
Boyfriend For Hire is the newest book from Kendall Ryan. I always know I’m going to have fun when I read one of her books and this was no different.
Nico is much more than he seemed. He may be a male escort but he’s harboring a deep seated desire ad it’s not to dominate in the bedroom. He’s got that part down to a fine art as Ellie eventually finds out.
This was a bit more of allow burner compared to most of Kendall’s books that I’ve devoured, but it gave us time to meet and really get to know the characters.
Elle is a sweet, unassuming but quietly beautiful woman who has been dumped by her boyfriend and because her ex, is also her brother’s best friend, her bestie decides she needs a date for her brother’s upcoming wedding.
Enter Nico, pretend college friend of Christine, (Elle’s friend), who hires him to be Elle’s date.
But, when Nico meets Elle, he’s charmed and delighted with her. She’s not really a client and he’s soon under her spell and thinking … what if?
What was the what if? You’ll just have to read it and find out for yourself.

Wonderful book
This was not the first time I read anything by this author and I was truly not disappointed. The storyline was an original and excellent. Good read!!
Don’t normally read this kind of book but enjoyed it
I enjoy every Kendal Ryan book. If she writes it, I read it!!! 🙂
The author took too long to get to the point but otherwise well written.
I found this book enjoyable & funny. Story flowed easily & kept me reading.
I really enjoyed this book
Enjoyed reading!
Always love Kendall’s books and this one was no exception!
A different approach on the “for hire date”. Interesting and showed that he had a sensitive side. First 10 or so pages had me a little concerned that he was so very conceited. But then as you got to know him, you could see that he was deeper than how it started. Good chemistry and banter between Elle and Nic
Nic and Elle are super swoony! This story features a male escort, a woman getting over her ex and a future sister-in-law setting up the two. There is nothing better than finding the person who makes you want to be better.
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
I was so excited for this one and it did not disappoint! Kendall tells such a cute story about a male escort who is hired to be a girl’s date at her friend’s wedding. The two hit it off so much though. She has no idea who he really is, and she became the exception to all his rules. It’s a really sweet story involving a blooming romance and a man struggling to choose.
I loved the plot, but the writing fell flat for me. It didn’t sound like Kendall’s writing. It seemed rushed and the characters not fleshed out enough. When the truth comes out, it’s resolved quickly. And just the general tone and voice of the writing didn’t excite me. It felt dull, and as I mentioned, almost like the author rushed through this book.
I still give it 4 stars though, just for its great plot. I look forward to The Hookup Handbook next, featuring a side character in this one.
Just the fluffy HEA escape I was looking for! Very well- written contemporary romance with a steamy and escapist plot> Love this one!
One of my favorite authors!
