Rome
We never play by the rules. In life, in music, or in bed. Rules are for those who give a f#ck what other people think. The only opinions we care about are our own.
We love each other like brothers, only closer. We’re each other’s biggest support and greatest rival, and we give each other everything. In life, in music, and in bed.
We’re the family we chose, not the one we were born … everything. In life, in music, and in bed.
We’re the family we chose, not the one we were born with. Our bond is stronger than blood.
No woman has ever been a source of strain on our relationship.
Until we meet Quincy.
With her, something feels different.
We’re different.
She’s the piece of the puzzle we never even realized was missing.
But the friction she causes between us is like nothing we’ve ever felt toward each other, and it’s threatening to tear us apart.
I had her first. She wants him more. Why do I need to make her mine?

Bowed seamlessly picked up right where Plucked left off. My memory was instantly triggered as soon as I began ready and I was easily able to get back into the story. Q, King and Rome were just as perfect together musically, emotionally, and sexually as I remembered from book 1 and then some. While the drama in this book was a little let life threatening then book one, there was still a good deal of it. What was lacking for me was the detailed, hot sexual chemistry that I got from one book. Yes there was sex, and yes there was chemistry but it was as in depth or as hot as I was hoping for. Nevertheless, the Duet had a HEA and the story felt whole and complete. Over all, I would recommend this as a good, fast read.
Loved the final of the duet. This is exactly how this story needed to end.
Bowed by MV Ellis is book two in the Classical badboys Series. This continues the story of Roman “Rome” Ivanenko Anthony “King” Kingston and Quincy Copeland. So, you really do need to read the previous book ‘Plucked’ before starting this one. This book does pick up about where we left off. Roman is dealing with being in love with Quincy along with her being with his best friend King. They are trying to all work through their feelings while trying to maintain a relationship. I don’t want to say to much but these three do find their happy ending and I enjoyed reading their path to it. I really enjoyed this author’s writing and will be looking for more books in the future.
Bowed by M.V. Ellis took heat to a scorching hot level and the chemistry just won me over. A steamy, passionate and intense story from the beginning to the end. And what an explosive ending to the duet!
Quincy and King are now a couple. But Quincy and other part of their musical combination Rome has this simmering chemistry that just refuses to disappear. Can they find a way? Will King accept Quincy and Rome’s feelings? Will Rome self destroy under frustration and anger?
King and Rome are two sides of a coin. King is the more level headed, composed, rational and elegant side. Rome is the more impulsive, reckless and volatile side. But they are both gorgeous, dominating, possessive and alpha to the core. And it takes a queen like Quincy to handle their intensity! She is a powerhouse. Their musical brilliance is in tune with their emotional intensity. The chemistry is too much hot to handle and also equally soul deep. Their combined dynamics is something magical and extraordinary.
Bowed by M.V. Ellis is a sensual and chaotic love story. You will fall in love with the people in the story and their journey towards happily ever after.
Received ARC for honest review
Rome is going out of his mind with want for Quincy, the woman in their trio, the woman he can’t have because she’s in love with King. Normally in a tense situation like this, he’d go out and lose himself in a bottle and drugs and women, but since he’s just gone through rehab, those options aren’t available to him any longer. So what’s a man to do when he’s going crazy with wanting someone he can’t have?
Except perhaps Quincy has room in her heart for more than one man. If she’d allow herself to accept that notion, to feel the way she wants. And what about King? He’s been jealous of his best friend and Quincy for awhile now and he doesn’t know how to handle it. Perhaps he too can see through to letting Quincy feel the way she feels, without being a jealous prick about it.
I gotta admit that this conclusion was more angsty than Plucked and it lessened my enjoyment a bit. I wanted the three of them to work things through a bit smoother, without all the back and forth, without all of them being dicks at one point or another. I am glad they finally worked things out, though, and found happiness with each other.
Bowed is the second book in the Classical Badboys Duet and this story picks right off where we left off with Plucked. This is a MFM story surrounding King, Rome and Quincy packed full of drama, sizzling chemistry and heat that radiates off the pages. I am not a lover of MFM stories so I did struggle a little but this is a personal thing and in no way reflects on the writer or the story. However in saying that my connection with the characters was more drawn to King and Quincy and at times I found it hard to find the same bond with Rome. There are ups and downs and pushing and pulling between these three that at times causes tension and struggles. It is highly emotional, passionate, steamy and overflowing with drama. An intense story that shows how complicated love can be at times to finally reach your HEA with a little bit of a surprise.
I was given an ARC of Bowed by M.V. Ellis for an honest review. This is the second book in the Classical Badboys Duet. If you haven’t read Plucked then I highly recommend reading it before this book. Bowed picks up where Plucked left off. From the first page, the tension between Rome and King is intense. Quincy thinks it’s because Rome is dealing with his addictions but it’s more than that. The three go through a some tough times. After reading the first book, I was able to guess what happens and how they eventually found their HEA. It was a fun to read. Happy Reading!

What an amazing trio. Rome is doomed because he loves Quincy but she is in love with King. The music this trio makes is emotional and exciting but can they continue to live and work together with these unrequited feelings hanging like a cloud around them. Quincy finds herself struggling because she does love 2 men and doesn’t know how to exist in this environment. Will King and Rome be able to bridge their divide to truly unite this trio outside the studio? Exhilarating and off-the-charts sexy journey for all 3 of them. I was truly caught up in their struggle and loved the outcome. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
“M.V. Ellis you had my heart in your hands the whole time. Just wow!!! Bowed was pure joy and bliss. Did I mention I absolutely root for triangles? Yes, sometimes they do broke my heart but I can’t help to love them. Quincy, King and Rome’s story was full of ups and downs with some intense situations and ultimately a choice. Let’s be honest King and Rome both love Quincy so they had kind of a toxic relationship. It’s quite complicated to describe without giving some spoilers but it was a great ending to this duet. Absolutely amazing and loved every second of it.”
This is the 2nd part of this amazing duet and continues straight on from where Plucked ended. King and Quincy are together, but she loves both men. King, Rome, and Quincy are like puzzle pieces which fit together so perfectly. Rome is a dark and broody alpha who is fighting daily with his addictions, King is paranoid, and Quincy is the woman loved by both men. The chemistry between these characters is explosive, but will King and Rome’s friendship splinter and survive? This is a beautifully written seamless story which this gifted author has done an outstanding job in penning. This story is filled with drama, heartbreak, emotions, twists, and love. I cannot wait to read more from this author whose work I highly recommend for all readers.
Bowed picks up right where Plucked ended. In this second part, Rome doesn’t have it easy and the banter that i really liked between him and King is almost gone in the first part of this book. There’s still sexual tension between them and Quincy but this second part is more about the emotional tension between them. I loved this story and the characters, they are perfect for each other.
This duet was a fantastic and quick read with lots of sizzling steam and a satisfying HEA.

THIS IS HOT! If you have not read the first book then you need to read it before reading this book. We pick up from book one and let me tell you, this book is on fire. Rome, King, and Quincy are trying to pick up the pieces from the tour. Rome is still being his douchy self. Their is a twist, King is paranoid. There is heartache, emotions everywhere and finally everything comes to light. What will Quincy do? I feel like she is stuck between reality and fantasy. What will it take for all three to see what they can have? Let me just say I did not see that coming but was handled with care. This emotional story is an epic love story. I love all the characters and fell for each of them. We do get an happily ever after!!

This book was not my normal trope to read. But what do you do when you are in love with two men at the same time?
Quincy, King and Rome had their ups and downs but had to make a big choice.
Do you make it work or walk away?
Do you fight for those you love?
Felt there was great chemistry between them all.
I guess when it comes to love… nothing stands in the way.
The ending surprised me but it was right for them.

Wow! I didn’t see how Plucked, the first book of this duet, could be out done. D%*n if Bowed not only rose to the challenge but exceeded it and steamed up my glasses in the process. I loved the chemistry and relationship between Quincy, King, and Rome. It tugged on every one of my heartstrings and serenaded me with their unique story. The last page, the last word left me delighted that the trio found their place and that place was together.
This book was amazing. I loved every steamy, volatile second of it. These three have amazing chemistry together on and off stage. What happens when you are in love with two men at the same time? Do you choose love or walk away? This is a story about love and the fight to keep it. I would give this book ten stars if I could. I highly recommend this book. This author is an automatic one click for me. She never fails to deliver an amazing read

This is the second book in the Classical Badboys duet and cannot be read as a standalone. Bowed picked up right where Plucked left off.
This story is all about the relationships. King and Quincy are together. Rome and King are best friends who are both in love with the same girl. Quincy is in love with both King and Rome.
I absolutely love the trio of Rome, King and Quincy. They are smoking hot. The sex scenes are scorching. Their chemistry is sizzling off the pages.
I fell in love with Rome even more getting to see his softer side. He is definitely my favorite.
MV Ellis wrote a captivating story that will draw the reader in from the very first page.
I definitely recommend this book

This was a fabulous conclusion to the story of Quincy, King and Rome. It was not how I thought it would end but it was the perfect ending for them! An enjoyable book and my goodness there were some steamy parts!!
Would love a short story or bonus epilogue as I want to read more about them!!
Work hard – Play Harder! Play hard they did, in this case they played hard on and off the stage. Our bad boys King and Rome are brought to their knees by the exquisite Quincy in this brilliant sequel “Bowed”.
Pure joy, Rome on the cover, the dark broody tattooed alpha male. Nothing makes my heart swoon more than this man showing the one woman he loves his tender side. Holding his arms out and interlacing his fingers with hers to support her when she needs him the most.
Three hearts. Two men and one woman. This is a story of relationships. The men, best friends bonded like brothers. The history, Rome and Quincy. The couple, King and Quincy. The band, all three of them. Two men in love with one woman. One woman in love with two men. All of them well aware of the others feeling towards each other. The scorching chemistry between all three of them is blue flame hot.
A showstopper, just like the performance these three brilliant characters deliver on stage. It was an epic visual story, you feel like a voyeur in the room, a real credit to this author and her writing abilities. I’m never looking at a piano the same way again.
Come on their journey right through to the epilogue to see how it all unfolds. I think you have found your forte MV Ellis. Just adored this ending. This duet is one of your finest works.
“At that moment, it was as though they were the only two people on the planet, or at least the only two who mattered, to each other, or to anyone else. The scene was as moving as it was personally devastating.”
Bowed picked up from the ending of Plucked effortlessly. One of my favourite reads and my favourite duet this year. Ms Ellis is a brilliant wordsmith and is able to put you right in the room with the characters through her narrative. A rhapsody of emotions bubble to the surface, whilst living vicariously through them, as each page is turned. I’m feeling Thoroughly Plucked, on a euphoric high after that scene in the back seat of the limousine.
We are given front row seating, to watch King and Roman’s friendship take a battering. Quincy has captured the attention of both men, which is creating all kinds of drama. Roman is an addict, rehab may be helping, but it seems like Quincy is the one thing he’s struggles to give up. Meanwhile Quincy has to face facts and make a tough decision. Who will get the girl, will either man be left standing and will their friendship survive?
