Years ago, boundary witch Allison “Lex” Luther made a promise to an alpha werewolf. Now, just when the supernatural community in Colorado is enjoying a period of hard-won peace, the alpha turns up at Lex’s door to call in his marker. Two of his pack members have disappeared in the Colorado sand dunes, and he needs safe passage to hunt for them. With her friend Simon Pellar along for backup, Lex … backup, Lex ventures into the dunes to search for the missing couple…but what they find is only the opening move in an ambitious assault against those who hold power in the Colorado Old World. An old enemy has returned to tear their peace apart, and Lex is soon embroiled in politics she doesn’t understand, from a time before she had magic.
To save her friends and her way of life, Lex will have to cross every line she’s drawn since learning what she is—and it may still be too late.

Consider this a thumb’s up for all of Olson’s books. Urban fantasy can seem a little tired and repetitive unless I’m reading one of Olson’s books.
Boundary Broken
Boundary Magic, Book 4
By: Melissa F. Olson
Narrated by: Kate Rudd
Our Boundary Witch is asked to help an alpha wolf find two missing werewolves. She owed them a favor so she agreed. What they find and what happens right after starts this book off on a wild ride! Lots of unpredictable situations, action, vamps, weres, witches, magic, and twists! Loved the story.
The narration was spot on!
This series just keeps getting better.
Audiobook review: Non-stop action and danger around every corner. Lex and team are once again sent on a perilous mystery hunt trying to determine who the mastermind is. The storyline is interesting and entertaining. The characters are likable and believable. The narrator did a great job!

Loved this!
I loved this book in the series so much. There is tons of action and intrigue. The characters are complex and interesting. I had a difficult time putting it down when I needed to do something else. I’m so glad this series is continuing and hope that there will be many more books in this series!
It had been a long time since I’d read a book in this series and I honestly didn’t remember any of the characters or story lines when I started this one. I quickly caught up and enjoyed Lex’s world and this story. Hope there isn’t as much time until the next book.
After a diet of all mysteries, it was nice to get back to some urban fantasy.
I received my copy from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
Love this world and characters!
Lex and pals always get me laughing, crying and on the edge of my seat. These characters are ones you remember from book to book and love to read every time.
Boundary Broken by Melissa F. Olson a five-star read that will break your boundary’s. This is the forth novel in the Boundary magic series and each one just gets better than the last, I would recommend that you read them in order as we do get to see characters in this one that we have met in earlier books. This one came at just the right moment, I was sick and feeling rotten and bored stuck in bed then this one dropped and made my day. It takes you on a journey and it will lead you on so many trips, just when we discover what happened to the missing wolves something else is amiss and will astound you as well. The Colorado Old world is a place that will take you to a different world. Lex will make you feel for every character in this story, she has a way of sucking you in, but not sucking you dry, she leaves that to her other half. This is a thrilling series and I for one can’t wait for more from Melissa F. Olson
Every single time. It happens to me every single time: I forget how much I enjoy this author until I read a book by her. As in the previous books I’ve read by her, this book is well-written, has a totally fascinating plot, and has wonderful characters. I didn’t think I could love Lex as a character any more than I already did, but she is just so full of heart and real. I wish we had gotten to see Quinn more in this book but maybe in the next one. And speaking of the next one, I am so anxious to see what’s coming next! I had to actually force myself to put the book down to get some sleep. We get to see old enemies, some people we knew get killed, old faces come to town, and a new enemy. How’s that for not giving away too much?!? This book is the fourth book in Lex’s story, but since it’s the beginning of a new story arc, it’s kinda like a first one. If you love great urban fantasy, give this one a try; you will not regret it! I highly recommend this book and was provided a copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
