30-year-old Tristan Silver was a very happy nerd until his dad got the crazy idea of merging their company with that of a former competitor turned friend, creating Silver & Gold Tech and saddling him with a very annoying, pint-sized Co-CEO that’s been bent on driving him crazy since the first time they met.Natalie might be curvy and easy on the eyes, but she’s an opinionated ball-buster that … ball-buster that only opens her mouth to pester him like a veritable malware jammed into his system.
He totally loathes her.
And now his dad wants to drag him to a week-long company retreat for Christmas so they can bond and set a good example for the others.
That’s not how he envisioned spending his holidays.
28-year-old Natalie Gold was a very happy nerd until her dad promoted her to CEO of their company with the proviso that she must work with the most arrogant, brooding, unsociable bossy jerk on the face of the earth.
The giant bastard certainly knows how to do a pair of dark-rimmed glasses justice and how to rock a five o’clock shadow, but for every inch of his hunky sexiness there’s a price to pay, because he seems to live to contradict her and as soon as he opens his mouth, he becomes the absolute bane of her existence.
She totally loathes him.
And now her dad wants to turn her Christmas celebration into a cheery eggnog-spiked trip to snowy hell by forcing her to share close quarters with her stuck-up Co-CEO and to play nice with him to promote good teamwork between their execs.
That’s not how she envisioned spending her holidays.
Silver and Gold should go together, particularly on Christmas, but Tristan and Natalie have other ideas on how to spend the Most Wonderful Time Of The Year ; too bad they are bound together and surrounded by snow with nowhere to escape and nothing else to do but act like they are best buddies while they try not to throttle each other.
Then again, trying not to jump each other’s bones might prove to be more difficult.
Dear Reader:
This is a standalone, No-cheating and HEA-guaranteed naughty and nice holiday novella that features an OTT Alpha nerd that doesn’t know that there’s a fine line between love and hate, a sassy and curvy computer geek heroine that walks that thin line with him just as obliviously, and a bickering passion that turns into a fiery love that could melt snow and incinerate mistletoe just in time for Christmas.
Silver and Gold are definitely a must this year, trust me, they look amazing wrapped all over each other. wink
*Please note that Bound for Christmas is book 23 in the ’A Forever Safe Christmas’ multi-author collection, each one of the stories is set in its own universe so the books can be read in any order and also as standalones.

Ember Flint writes stories that are so full of passion, romance and hot steamy sexy time. I cannot wait to read more from Ember Flint.

This was a rapid paced, cute Christmas themed novella by Ember Flint. The main characters, Tristen & Natalie, were so feisty, strong willed, determined, and equally as attracted to each other as they were spiteful. The banter and emotional connection, not to mention the chemistry, between them really grabs the reader and pulls them headlong into the story. The continual conflict, balanced with the burning chemistry, keeps the pages flipping to find out if these two would ever get it together (pun intended).
Tristen and Natalie are each co-CEOs of a newly merged company, Silver & Gold. Problem is, they don’t see eye to eye – on ANYTHING. When their parents insist on a Christmas team building retreat, the two are forced to share a remote chalet for the entire 7 days!
When they are snowed into their chalet by a blizzard, all pretences are stripped away, and they subcome to the passion that has been burning between them. What happens when the weather clears and they must return to reality? Will they leave their liazon up in the snowy mountains, or will they admit that they are perfect for each other?
I was fortunate to receive an ARC of this book, and I gladly leave my honest, unbiased review.

I ended up liking this book a lot. It did take me a while to get into it. I’m not sure what the issue was, but once I connected, it was a lot of fun.
Tristan Silver was a very happy nerd. Then one day his dad got the idea of merging their company with a former competitor turned friend, creating Silver & Gold Tech. This would have been fine, except that he had to deal with his new and very annoying, pint-sized Co-CEO. Natalie has been bent on driving him crazy ever since the first time they met. Natalie may be hot and curvy, but she’s opinionated and only opens her mouth to disagree with him. He can’t stand her. To make matters worse, his dad wants them to go on a company retreat for the week of Christmas to build their teamworking skills.
Natalie Gold was a very happy nerd. Then her dad promoted her to CEO of their company with the condition that she had to work with the Tristan, the most arrogant, brooding, bossy jerk on the planet. He’s huge and his sexiness doesn’t change the fact that he loves to contradict her every time he opens his mouth. She can’t stand him. Her dad tells her that he wants them to spend Christmas at a retreat to build teamwork for their executives.
Got a kick out of both characters reaction to the teamwork guru. They ended up being great characters. Loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

This was a good little enemies to lover’s romance and can be read in about an hour. This is Natalie and Tristan’s story these two have been sniping at each other ever since their families joined their companies together. Fed up of their bickering they are forced to spend Xmas together and either learn to get on or lose their companies. I liked this book it is a great read to curl up with.
Very good romantic comedy
Good romantic comedy, very well written, a little predictable, but pleasant to read because of the hatred / attraction of the two characters from the beginning, and their exchanges.
Tristan and Natalie are Co-CEO of the business that their respective parents merged and gave them to run. However, none of the staff of the two companies can get along, neither the leaders nor the executives.
To solve this problem, Natalie and Tristan’s 4 parents decide to lead everyone in a retreat exercise to build trust between them, during the holiday season. They manage so that Natalie and Tristan are permanently together, which sometimes gives funny or hot situations.

Yet another fantastic short, sweet and sexy read. This time our alpha male is a bow tie wearing, suspender snapping, sexy computer geek who falls hard and fast for his buxom, curvy, nerdy, tight t-shirt wearing hottie, co-ceo. They love to hate each other until, love and lust tip the scale. A great little read, TBR and enjoy.

Tristan and Natalie are on a fine line of hate and love. They can’t get along but is that because they are hiding their real feelings?
Don’t miss how they are thrown together to figure out what’s important over Christmas.

At first, I didn’t care for either of these two. I was left with kind of a huh feeling after finishing the story. Was I happy for these two, yes. Did I feel invested in them, not really. Overall it’s a good story and I love this author but this was not a favorite.

Cheeky and funny …………. but needs a good proofreading
Bound for Christmas has a really funny and engaging story-line of two opposites who go together very well. Tristan Silver and Natalie Gold are Co-CEO’s of the two merged family company’s. It seems that their fathers decided, in a moment of lunacy so the kids think, that they were tired of fighting each other in business and instead merged together to be bigger and more profitable. But the deal was that all the executives would stay and work together with the counterpart in the other organization. This arrangement has led to so much fighting between the everyone, as each company had their own culture. It has now gotten so bad that the fathers have decided that everyone needs to go to a ski resort with all their families over Christmas and work with counselors to learn to work together. What happens with Tristan and Natalie seems a bit more than just learning to work together as they have their own “couples counselor” who is more than funny. Plus add in the fact that they must stay in the same cabin together further up on the mountain and there is a blizzard that they are caught in. It all makes for a very witty and cheeky story told from both Tristan and Natalie’s POV’s.
While I really enjoyed the story and the characters of Tristan and Natalie I loved I had a major issue with the lack of proofreading. There were words missing, wrong words, spelling mistakes, mixed tense, mixed plural words, run on sentences and more. This really was a huge detriment to a lovely story and made the reading a hard go. A couple of times I was thinking of stopping but I really wanted to find out how they finally got together and what the HEA looked like in the future, as there are two nice Epilogues. So what should have been a 5 Star rating instead is a 3 Star.
Co-CEOs Natalie and Tristan are running their company after their fathers merged together and handed the business down to their children who like to butt heads a lot. Both Tristan and Natalie are at odds until they go on business christmas retreat with each other. Little do they know one snow storm would change their relationship completely and show them how they really feel about one another.
It did take me a while to get into this book but about 25% in I was sucked and finished pretty fast. After all that fighting I felt that the insta love definitely kicked in and there was all the lovey dovey stuff I loved to read, but it was just a tad bit rushed and then I was reading the epilogue. All in all I liked the story and I enjoyed that we got the ending a couple years out!
Tristian and Natalie hate each other due to having to work together because of a business merger between their dad’s companies. After having to be trapped together at a week long company bonding retreat, they start to realize under all the jabs and pokes they actually like each other.
-enemies to lovers book
-both POVs
-hot nerd alert

So I really wanted to like this book, it had all the fixings for a great book. But…I could not get passed the immaturity of the main characters. They were supposed to be late twenty educated adults, that is not what we got. They acted like children.

The author has given us characters we can connect with. Tristan and Nat are thrown together as Co-CEO and absolutely hate each other. The story is full of humor and you find yourself laughing at their thoughts.

This is a enemies to friends story. Natalie and Tristan have been sniping at each other ever since their fathers merged both companies. Underneath all of their pokes and jabs was the desire to poke each other in a more intimate way. A forced bounding retreat set up by their parents gets these two to finally face what they have been hiding.
There is a nice build up of chemistry since we have access to both POV’s. Unfortunately once these two get together it’s like someone just let the air out of the balloon and it goes flat and more mechanical. There are 2 epilogues that fill you in on happened after that retreat which was nice, but the initial heat is no more.
