Great Fast Romance to Read
Oh, how Harlequins have changed! Love the baby trope, this was so well written.
Angelo and Pia came through so much opposition. Their dialogue was funny, sensuous, serious, just a great couple, even if they did put the cart before the horse lol. It all turned out the best HEA
A Dani Collins story always leaves me happy and this one is no exception, this is the third book about the Montero family in Spain, and we journey with Pia and Angelo to a beautiful HEA.
Pia is very quiet and shy and never dreams that one night she will lose her heart to a stranger and find the need to find this said stranger six weeks later, when she discovers that her one-night lover is no other than the billionaire Angelo Navarro and he demands that they marry Pia is about to have her life and heart turned upside down.
Angelo has worked hard to get to where he is today and is hell bent on vengeance never realizing that his search for something from his past will have him losing his heart to the wealthy blue blood Pia, she is the heroine who will help him see that it is best to leave the past behind.
This story is sensual with lots of emotion, Pia and Angelo are perfect for each other the chemistry is instant and their love opens them both up to happiness, this is a story I loved and highly recommend.
Pia attends a masked ball and ends up losing her virginity to a stranger and ends up pregnant because of it. She has to find out who the masked stranger is so she can tell him. I loved reading this story and recommend it !
Pia Montero is basically being given away in marriage by her mother who feels she needs to marry someone of the same blue blood. Pia is getting her doctorate and is a brilliant women but not having been shown any affection of love in her life has no real emotions so comes off as ice. When she is at the masquerade ball she sees a man across the room and feels something she has never felt before. She sees him approach the auction table and place a bid so she goes to see what his name is and it sign anonymous Needing to escape the crowd she cannot deal with she escapes to the rooftop patio. Angelo Navarro is on a mission, he has got into the party without an invite just so he can find the box of jewelry his mother hid for him. What he doesn’t expect is to find a women there. Pia is surprised but intriqued. So now we have a man out to find a family treasure, a woman trying to accept what her family expects. A man with revenge on his mind and a woman that hides her emotions. This is another of a Dani Collins fantastic books and if I tell you anymore I will give away an amazing plot and a story that you will not want to end
With the latest delightful tale from Dani Collins, we get the story of an heiress about to be forced into a suitable marriage and a tech guru who’s past would easily disqualify him from that category in a bit of an opposites attract/surprise baby combination.
The story line heats up quickly with the opening scene taking place at a masquerade ball where Pia and Angelo meet and devour each other without even knowing who the other is. Reality comes crashing back through when she discovers she’s pregnant and has to track him down to tell him.
The characters each have strong back stories and develop well together as the story plays out. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a bit of a royal feel to their romance and enjoys a surprise baby and marriage of convenience.
