I loved this story about Mary and her escapades. I laughed and enjoyed her and the trouble she continues to get into. Now she’s making deals as she continues to look for her commander. Nothing is what is seems and this author loves creating intrigue where none could possibly exist then adding a twist. I love to see what she comes up with since I am always completely and thoroughly entertained. This book and more like it is why I always know I can one click her books and know I will most definitely enjoy it.
I love Mary Wiles character. She is a fighter. Some of the scenes are absolutely hilarious. I really enjoy when I can laugh in a book. Of course we can’t forget the steamy scenes either. This story just keeps getting better.
The second book in the Mary Wiles chronicles by Erin Bedford. This book picks up right where book 1 left off. Bound by Hell further explores Mary’s life as she tries to understand humans. I loved this one more than the first. Can’t wait to read the next book and see what happens with Mary next.

Really enjoyed this action packed journey that picks up where the last one left off still filled with dangerous and engaging charters, witty banter, heart racing twists and had me holding on to the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Great reading!
I honestly can’t get enough of Mary she is so string and determined but has a vulnerable side to her as well and unfortunately nothing is ever easy for her and having to ask for help where she least wants to doesn’t help. And then we have Sid the guy who is meant to be the bad guy, but well kinda sucks at that and you really like him and he does make you laugh and the sparks between him and Mary woohoo get the sunnies out! I can not wait to see what happens next!!

The plot thickens
There’s action, there’s a budding romance, and all is not as it seems. My favourite part of this book was then Adara and Madame Serena show up with a plan to help Mary; it felt very A-Team – I love it when a plan comes together! Can wait to read the next book in the series.
In Bound By Hell, Mary a fallen angel goes through a lot but she is determined to not only get revenge against the demons who took her wings but also to find her way back to heaven. This author has created an amazing world filled with intriguing characters and a story filled with danger, mystery, suspense, humor, romance and twists that pulled me into the story.
We meet Mary again, as she continues her quest to find her Commander. In the meantime, she’s learning to do human things, taught by the ever efficient Trisha. Sid is also here, which gives the adventure a shot of romance. Very enjoyable!

This is turning out to be an amazing story. It’s not just the story but the world itself. I also loved seeing the relationship between Mary and Sid develop even when they were at each other’s throats. I couldn’t put this down.
Funny, sexy and action packed. This is a great continuation of the Mary Wiles Chronicles; with a seamless transition between book 1 and this book. There is amazing, palpable tension and emotions. This is an amazing page turning read.
Book two in the series picks up from book one. The author once again brings strong characters and takes them on an adventurous and hilarious journey trying to find her wings. The scenes are painted perfectly and the story moves fluidly. I’m loving this series and am looking forward to the next book!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Mary needs to forgive Sid but can she? Will she put aside his ancestry? She is desperately trying to find her mentor Ramiel. Taking the advice of her friends she asks Sid to help her to contact his father. Does she listen to them? Does she find Ramiel? You need to read this fast paced action packed and spine-tingling book to find out. Another great read by Erin.

I’m always scared for that one moment. That one moment I read a book too many by the same author, that one moment the reading slump starts. But, no matter how many Bedfords I read, I keep on enjoying them immensely. It probably helps that it aren’t very long reads and they’re never very complicated either. They are however very addictive and it are the perfect books to read on work days or on days I don’t have as much time as usually.
After I finished the first book in this series, I was really excited to read the second book. The mythology of this world is just too great and even though we didn’t learn THAT much more in this second book, we finally got a glimpse of the Archangel this is actually all about and there were some other interesting details putting information from the first book in a slightly different perspective. And Bedford makes sure to never info dump it on me, which is something I really appreciate and love.
The plot in this second book probably was a little messier than in the first book. There were a few storylines going on and each of them reached some sort of conclusion. The most important storyline of course is the search for the Archangel Mary came to earth for, a storyline that leads to an awesome cliffhanger. And of course there’s the love story between Mary and Sid. I love a good enemies to lovers lovestory and this one surely is one of those!
Sid is an amazing character, mostly because he’s part human and part demon, but also because he’s really dangerous as a demon and does a lot to keep the demon in check. It makes him interesting and it makes his relationship with Mary interesting. And luckily Mary is a very interesting character too. I love how we slowly see her making the transition from being fully angel to becoming more and more human. She’s losing some traits and gaining others. I can’t wait to see where her journey will end, although I do have some predictions and high hopes of course.
This is a fantabulous action packed and hilarious read that once started you will not be able to put this down!
The second book in this series is every bit a good and addictive as the first and I would highly recommend this series!
And that is what you get with fallen angel, Mary. She is also brave, determined, loyal, and protective of those she loves. This story throws you into the action quickly and takes you on a hold-onto-your-seat roller-coaster ride.
Mary is still reeling from what she feels was a betrayal by Sidney, as well a questioning if her desire is because of him or for him. Desperate to find her wings and Ramiel- she makes a deal with the Demon Lord – She agrees to a trade – but is the price more than she can afford to give?
Secrets are revealed – and enemies become allies – though not everything is as black and white as Mary once believed
This read a bit slower for me than book one
Captivating read and fantastic storyline
I got hooked on Erin Bedfords work from her most excellent Underground series which is a reimagining of Alice in Wonderland that is definitely not your grandmas Alice. Now I am happily enjoying her Mary Wiles detective series and have to say that Erin continues to not disappoint except if you finish one of the books and there is a wait on the next, but you cannot really fault her for that! so if you think an urban fantasy about a fallen angel who is no saint taking on demons masquerading as humans to try and take over the world while trying to keep her loved ones safe while trying to figure out how to be a human as a human sounds like a story you would like to read then I recommend you go back and grab the first Mary Wiles book, and if you already have read it, then stop reading my review and just grab this book!! I personally believe you will be glad you did!
As good as the first…
This book is as good, if not better, than the first in the series. In this story, Mary has a lot of personal revelations and realizes that things may not be as “black and white” as she would like.I love the chemistry between Mary and Sid. Can’t wait for the next book.
