New York Times Bestselling author Samantha Young writing as S. Young.Niamh Farren has been burdened by knowledge for most of her life. As one of seven fae children born into the human world with the ability to open the gate to Faerie, Niamh’s mission is to guide her fae brethren to do what’s right. Because Niamh has seen what will happen to the human world if she does not protect the gate. … gate. Throughout the years, she’s traveled the world with her brother Ronan, using her psychic visions to find the fae-borne and convince them to stay on the path that will keep the gate from opening. She has sacrificed much … but when she loses her brother to the mission, Niamh begins to lose herself.
For nearly one hundred and fifty years, werewolf Kiyo has wandered the planet as a lost soul. Cursed with immortality, he spends his awful eternity as a mercenary for hire. When the powerful Fionn Mór confides the truth about the existence of Faerie and hires Kiyo to protect one of the fae-borne, he accepts the challenge out of boredom, not heroism. Yet Niamh is unexpected in every way the werewolf can possibly imagine.
Guarding Niamh from her enemies is nowhere near as challenging as protecting the fae woman from herself. If Kiyo is to succeed, he must help Niamh find herself again, and not just for her sake. Ignoring the fierce connection between them may no longer be an option. A new enemy is rising and threatening to rip open the gate between worlds. To remind Niamh of who she really is, Kiyo must make the choice to lower his defenses and give into their bond. Or safeguard his own heart … and in doing so lead the human world to the brink of war.

4.5 STARS!
Beautiful world building with suspenseful twists and turns at every page, Bound by Forever by S. Young is another brilliant installment to the True Immortality series!!
Niamh Farren is a powerful fae that has visions of the future. Treking all through Europe, she’s attempting to make sense of what her visions truly mean. Burdened by grief and loss, Niamh begins to lose herself. She’s dead set on revenge, but seeking it out may very well cost her her life.
Kiyo Fujiwara is the only immortal werewolf of his kind and he’s hired by Fionn Mór to protect Niamh. He’s a loner, a lost soul wandering for nearly 150 years, living the life of a nomad and spending eternity as a mercenary for hire. So, to say Kiyo wasn’t too thrilled about his new task is putting it mildly. But, I must admit I was extremely intrigued by this broody character ever since meeting him in Kiss of Vengeance.
Put together a grumpy lone wolf and a beautiful tortured fae and you end up with pretty explosive chemistry and a sweet, sweet slow burn! In the beginning, all they did was bicker back and forth but as time went on they got to know one another. Finally, succumbing to the deep-rooted feelings each felt.
Not only will you get a series filled with the paranormal, but each book you get to fall in love with these characters. The series has intricately woven each book together, leading to an epic ending coming in 2021!! This is definitely a series I recommend you try. Action and a swoon worthy romance, Bound by Forever is such a thrilling read!
I really have enjoyed this series as the stories have been really interesting and the characters I’ve easily related to but as the series goes on I find that it’s always the same old push and pull between the characters of each story. I also really felt that this one was a little too lacking in the romance department and I didn’t really like how their story was left open ended, like their love story wasn’t complete at the end of the book yes I know other characters appear from previous books but this one just didn’t feel like it was a completed story. This books redeeming feature is the background story which was really good I just wish that the main characters love story were more of feature in it.

Good paranormal romance overall!
I absolutely love Kiyo & Niamh story. The slow burn of these two amazing characters had me glued to my kindle. Their story was intriguing and had me hooked. Kiyo & Niamh are absolutely a perfect match. Another phenomenal read that if you love a good paranormal read, then you must one click this book. I can’t wait too read the next book in this series.
This was another wonderful story in this series. The banter between these two characters was perfect. I look forward to the next one. I definitely recommend this book, series, and author.
I need to first start by saying when I received the ARC to review this book I did not realize at the time that it was part of a series. So I went in completely blind and confused. So for me that made it a little bit difficult for me to get into the book.
Once I did get into it I really enjoyed it. I found Sams writing and characters very enjoyable. The chemistry between Kiyo and Niamh is off the charts. The two together is just very sexy, and Kiyo is everyone dream book boyfriend.
This book does have quite a few triggers just to be fore warned, but they made the story.
Overall I enjoyed the book, it did make me want to go buy the others. I felt like if I would have read those I would have enjoyed this one more.
Rating: 3.5 stars
Bad people never stand a chance once they get on the radar of Niamh, a powerful fae heroine, whose visions reveal they are up to no good. This defender of the fae gate turned vigilante has the power to step in and unleash her own brand of justice and retribution. Unfortunately, this otherwise shy, docile, blushes a lot, beautiful being’s own sadness is what led her to this impulsive, good intentions behavior. Gotta say, the reason she was mourning seemed misplaced. Yeah, family is family but what a user bro, if you ask me.
Ultimately though, unintended consequences and hidden forces surface, as well. For being such an awesome, empowered creature, I wanted Niamh to stay strong and constantly resilient (never weepy), including being immune to Kiyo’s knucklehead stubborn refusal to own up to his growing feelings for her. Becoming pouty wasn’t a good look for her. I liked her the most when she was about to unleash herself. Make that alpha, detached, werewolf shifter regret ever giving you a single aloof glance or cold shoulder, honey, is all I gotta say.
Speaking of which, Kiyo is a muscled, mercenary for hire, wolf shifter, bodyguard, who’s hiding a big secret of his own. Yeah, I couldn’t help pick up on how coy he was about his true nature whenever Niamh noticed something amiss. When it was revealed, I didn’t find it overly surprising. Really, I was actually relieved, and besides it often comes with the territory in this genre. So good for you, Kiyo. Just another reason why you’ve got a long future with this lady love.
I stayed engaged walking alongside this non-couple until, well, maybe mid-way. Then unexpected, lingering too long, and meandering on certain topics and places had me skimming along hoping something significant would pick up the pace. That did not happen in the previous books, folks. Kiyo’s disturbing birth mama drama was a bit much for me personally, and the taste and tour of all things Tokoyo was wasted on me. If I wanted that much detail, I’d watch a travel show. Maybe the author wanted to give us a break from the plot or share some of her personal knowledge of the cuisine and culture, but I’m reading this book for a reason. I’d prefer it stay focused on moving the inevitable fae smackdown forward. It caused the story line to stutter and stretch out resulting in me becoming anxious to see it wrap up. Kiyo feeling compelled to briefly get cozy with a former, skank ex-lover in front of Niamh (instead of pushing her hands and lips away with a firm, “Yeah, I don’t think so, crazy lady!” had his man card taking a hit with me. Playing along and even kissing her on the lips was nauseating to witness. Even though he did so with a plan in mind.
As the third book, I must admit this one was my least favorite. Despite Niamh’s awesome superheroine character’s abilities. This couple didn’t feel like a couple most of the time, because officially they weren’t. Plus, all the pushing away.
Of course, Fionn and Rose’s HEA was a super, tough act to follow. Because lawdy, folks, Fionn was one fine, furry, man-wolf specimen as a leading love interest in book 2. I couldn’t help but conjure up Chris Hemsworth’s voice and bod for him. Yep, I know I’ve grabbed your attention now, haven’t I? (giggling a little) I did so thoroughly enjoy his cameo appearances here. He proved once again just how useful and resourceful a tracker werewolf can be. His word to the wise, werewolf to werewolf talk with Kiyo couldn’t have been more cool and added swagger and male bonding at the same time. Something I think Kiyo did need to hear. Book 1’s hero had it going on in a major way, too, btw.
Since there will be a fourth book (Bitten by Deception), we will have to continue to stay tuned for the final fae saving the world conclusion. It will feature characters named Echo and Elijah.
Heroine’s fae super powers – 5 stars!
Alpha protective wolf shifter who stubbornly refuses to love hero – 4 stars
Plot – Ongoing from book 1 with each book adding a slight twist – 3 stars

(I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I was not given any payment or compensation for this review. There is no affiliation or relationship between this reviewer and the author, publisher, or any PR firm.)
This is the third book in the True Immortality Series. It is an amazing paranormal book of fated mates. This storyline will captivate you and have you falling in love with Niamh and Kiyo. S. Young gives us another strong female character with a hero willing to protect her at all costs. You go through so many emotions. It’s action packed with many twists and turns. It was beautifully written with such amazing descriptions that made me feel like I was living in the pages of the story.
Bound by Forever is the third book in the ongoing True Immortality series. This is Niamh’s and Kiyo’s story.
Niamh is determined to do whatever she can to keep the remaining fae safe. She has visions that help with this, and she is constantly discovering powers she didn’t realize she had. Niamh doesn’t like the idea of a broody babysitter, but recognizes that he is important in what is to happen. She tries to fight her feelings for Kiyo, believing he will never share the same.
Kiyo is an immortal and grumpy werewolf. He is hired to watch over Niamh and is fairly aggravated by the fact that he is attracted to her. She makes him feel things he never has before, things he has never wanted to feel in the first place. Kiyo tries to keep his distance, but the more he’s around Niamh, the more he’s drawn to her and the more protective he becomes.
Their enemies are still out there, and still searching for them either to open the gate to Faerie or to kill them to prevent this from happening. Three of the remaining fae have now found and fallen in love with their true mates. I’m anxiously awaiting the final installment in the series, Bitten by Deception. I can’t wait to meet and get to know Elijah, the remaining fae and Echo, his vampire mate.
Bound to this series … forever!!!
This new release by S. Young once again proved to me that paranormal romance stories can be fascinating, captivating, sexy and steamy even if I am normally not the biggest fan of paranormal stories.
Much like the first two books of the series. S. Young is mixing and juggling all genres and parts of the book in a perfect balance.
The story of Niamh and Kiyo is another journey I am happy I took.
Another 5-star read that I highly recommend.
And don’t forget to check out the first two books. Cause even though this is a standalone, it is still part of a series that created a world which has a certain amount of complexity and to be sure to enjoy it to the fullest is to start right at the beginning.
Can’t wait for the next one to be released within 2021!!
I didn’t want this book to end! Isn’t that the best feeling when you’re reading?
S. Young has created a world so rich and vibrant that you see the novel play out like a movie in your mind. Enchanting and riveting, this is a scorching slow-burn romance that will keep you way past your bedtime. But it’s even more. The relationship between the ethereal yet powerful Niamh and the broody yet protective Kiyo was a gorgeous dance that helps them both discover the balance between light and dark that lives within us all. And beyond that, how to make peace their pasts and what might lie ahead.
Bound by Forever is one of my top reads of 2020 and I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
Bound by Forever by S. Young had me HOOKED from start to finish!
Oh my GIDDY AUNT but I am a sucker for a well developed paranormal romance and let me tell you, Bound by Forever ABSOLUTELY delivers on that!
HOLY MOLY but Niamh and Kiyo are EPIC together! The chemistry is insane, the tension palpable, and the twists and turns and history and intrigue and all of the layers were mind blowing and captivating!
Niamh is fiery and feisty, sassy and sweet, and carries a heavy burden on her shoulders, and stows a lot of baggage. And I just wanted to give her the biggest hug and let her know she wasn’t alone.
Kiyo is stoic, charming, stubborn, and hides behind a mask of unfeeling and uncaring, weary of the world and everything that builds up over time.
Separately and together, powerful beings with a whole lot of history and an intertwined future that they fight at every step. And let me tell you, you’ll enjoy that struggle immensely!
The descriptions are amazing, the world building and character development fascinating, and you are bound to fall in love with this story, and these characters, I guarantee it!
So if you’re looking for a read that will captivate you, take you on quite the adventure, and also touch on the power of honesty, trust, and love, well, look no further than Bound by Forever! It won’t disappoint, I promise!
Another stellar story in this outstanding series. I love this series and the spectacular characters this terrific author gives us. Fierce paranormals with otherworldly abilities and lives fraught with challenges. This third installment has Niamh struggling to do her duty after the loss of her brother. She needs to protect the gate to Faerie but she’s lost. Mercenary werewolf Kiyo is hired to protect her and that starts the slow build to a heartfelt romance. Fantastic storytelling takes us on a ride that’s fast paced and full of danger as these two find a way to move past old hurts and find love. These characters pop off the pages as they slow burn to a beautiful love with sizzle and hotness. Loads of twists and turns as the danger takes us on a ride of action packed suspense. This third installment is fantastic and I can’t wait for the next one. A must read! 4.5 stars
I was provided an ARC via the author in exchange for an honest review.
It is no secret that I love this series! This installment is no exception, I thought this was the final book but there is one more which is a happy surprise. So far each book in this series is a standalone with an interconnected storyline. The ending of this book gives you a glimpse of what you can expect in the next book, but I would say you could have read this without having read the previous two books in the series. This book does stand on its own two feet and while it does have some foreshadowing for what comes next, doesn’t have a cliffhanger ending. The story closes nicely, but promises that there is more to come.
This follows Niamh, who has been present in the previous books helping both Thea and Rose in their previous journeys. Niamh is one of the few remaining fae born children left, and she is burdened by her knowledge of the fae world and her gifts. She’s been in hiding for most of her life, but when her brother is killed and she can’t use her gift of visions to save him she loses herself. Enter Kiyo, an immortal werewolf who has been hired to protect Niamh from other supernaturals who may want to use her or harm her and protect her from herself as she’s going down a path of destruction in the wake of her brother’s death. The two of them don’t immediately hit it off and grate on each other’s nerves until Niamh has a vision involving Kiyo. Realizing that he is somehow involved in the path she is supposed to take to save the remaining fae born, she agrees to work with him. Kiyo realizes that if he is going to succeed as her protector, he has to open up to her a bit if they are going to build any trust. Having been a lone wolf for so long, he hasn’t put his trust in anyone in a long time, but he finds it easy to confide in Niamh even when she does things that infuriate him.
As they follow her visions to Tokyo, things heat up as old debts are called in to be paid and new enemies surface. Niamh and Kiyo have to continue working on their trust to make their partnership work as they try to uncover what is going on and how they can save the other fae born and the world. All the while dealing with all sorts of difficulties, Kiyo and Niamh can’t fight the blossoming attraction forming between them. When they finally give into their feelings, the sparks literally fly and let me tell you the steam factor is through the roof. Their relationship is a slow burn, but it is so worth it when it finally happens. All I have to say is that hair washing scene was amazing!!!
I absolutely adore this series, the characters Samantha has created, and I can’t wait for the next one!
Seriously, this has been an amazing series and I can not wait until the next book!!!!
I absolutely loved Bound by Forever.
It’s the story of Niamh and Kijo, whom we met in the previous books, but S. made sure to rehash everything, so there was nothing missing, and it made it really easy to understand the motivation of each of the characters, which is a huge plus for me. After what happened to Niamh she went off on a vigilante mission. She is strong and fearless, but she is also careless, and this is when Kijo, comes into the picture, who was hired to keep her safe. Sounds like an easy enough job for an immortal werewolf, but Niamh is very stubborn fae, so poor guy has his work cut out to him.
It’s slow burn, but there are so many things happening that I didn’t even register it. The push and pull, between the main characters Niamh and Kijo was like a dance, and this whole story was an exciting, action packed adventure. It took us all the way to the beautiful Japan. I have to say, I’ve never been to Japan, but the way S. described it all, it felt like I was right there with Niamh and Kijo discovering a new culture. and I haven’t even gotten to the good part… the romance part. I am still swooning because of these 2. Their love is amazing, and wonderful and I could read and read their antics. I couldn’t get enough.
S. Young you are one creative and talented author, and I can’t wait to read more about these incredible creatures.
This is book 3 in the series, but each book is a different couple. This time we get Kiyonari the only immortal werewolf and Niamh, a fae. It is a slow-burn. I definitely enjoyed the story, the sexual tension was thick. The whole storyline is very interesting and I like the world-building S. Young created for the series. I love the angst element of it all and I want to see what happens next. I liked that the author gave a great summary to get my head back in place and for anyone who is reading it as a stand-alone it gives the important points. I will wait to find more in Bitten by Deception, there are still some things I want to read about and hopefully, we get them all in the final installment.
I have truly been enjoying S. Young’s paranormal romance series, True Immortality series. Next up in the series is Bound by Forever, which is Niamh and Kiyo’s story. And I have to say that I’ve loved every couple in this series, the characters are so well written and it’s so easy to fall in love with each one of them.
Let’s go over the tropes real quick, we have a shifter and a fae, bit of a slow burn, anddddddddd … bodyguard! Yep, that’s what Kiyo is sent to do, watch over Niamh, who is one of the seven fae-born that have been seen in a prophecy to the Faerie gate. Even though Niamh is completely capable of handling herself, seeing all that she can do as the story went on was AMAZING, yet a little scary. She was definitely well-matched when it comes to the immortal lone wolf that is Kiyo. But you know, it would have been nice if he caught on sooner than later.
From the very beginning, their connection is strong, and when you have someone like Kiyo he downright fights any kind of pull, boy is it frustrating to no end. And you’re left wondering what it’ll actually take for him to admit that he feels something when it comes to Niamh.
Definitely a lot of action to get the heart racing and plenty of moments that’ll have your heart stop. The series arc just keeps on getting more interesting with some twists and turns, and I’m eager to know what the end will be like.
I am so ready for the conclusion in Bitten by Deception, this one was such a solid addition to the series and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again in the finale.
Samantha Young
Samantha has done it again. This book does not disappoint, the series does not disappoint. Let me tell you, I was hooked from start to finish. I love Kiyo and Niamth. This book has it all, it is emotional, sexy, angsty, some action, and etc. It’s all beautiful. We got a glimpse of them in previous books of the series, and now we get all of them in Bound by Forever. I also need my very own Kiyo, please. Thank you Sam for another amazing book!!
