“I need a mate who doesn’t want me just because of my royal status. That’s why I’m going to buy her at the auction.”Ella is a plus-size girl who came from a rich family. One of power, since her father is the mayor. Her friends are only friends with her due to her status. Her father is a drunk, and an angry one at that. Behind closed doors, her life at home is a living hell.Zarbonov is an alien … living hell.
Zarbonov is an alien shifter prince who comes from a highly influential family as well. He’s under pressure by his family to find a mate.
When Ella is abducted, part of her is happy to get away from her previous life. It means a chance to start fresh and to be free from the invisible chains her father has put around her feet.
Zarbonov buys her at the auction, but she doesn’t obey his every command as he expected her to. She doesn’t want to be in the same position she was back home.
He will need to show her love in order for her to voluntarily do what he wants. She will need to earn his trust, as well, in order for him to let her be herself.
When push comes to shove, will they get what they each want? Or will they lose everything they worked so hard to achieve?
Bought By The Alien Prince is book 2 of the Alien Auction House series. There is NO cheating, NO cliffhangers, and a happy ending!more
Original twist on a common theme. I liked the writing.

A real page turner
Great read!
The story of Ella and Zarbonov was quite entertaining. The characters were interesting
There was steam so beware if this offends you. I do recommend this book.
Well written and grammatically correct
Enjoyable but….
I don’t read a lot of sci-fi/alien romance, but I do read a few. The blurb caught me attention, and with an author who has been on my radar for a while, I decided to give it a go.
This is book 2 in the Alien Auction House series, and I felt a little lost when it came to the alien culture. Part of that might have been the intent of the authors to help the reader relate to Ella, but I have to wonder if reading book 1 first would have helped a bit with background. As I got further in, I did think the authors built an intriguing world. The characters, both primary and secondary were certainly interesting, and I cared what happened to them.
This ends more on a hfn instead of a hea as not all the plot lines were resolved by the end; I assume these will carry over into the next book, but as it was, this story didn’t quite feel complete to me. Though really, I was more interested in Ella and her developing relationship with her alien mate than other storylines anyway, lol.
While It was a fast read and I basically enjoyed it, I’m a little on the fence with this one. There were parts I really liked, but there were also places I just wanted more—more background on Ella, more on the Xiban and their culture, and more on how Zarbonov and Ella’s relationship really developed. Since the series is available through KU, I’ll probably go back and pick up the first book to see if that helps fill in at least some of the gaps. 3.5 stars
arc review For honest review. Ella is kidnapped from earth and auctioned off to zarbonov from xiban for a bride. This story was great can’t wait to read more of these alien men.
This is just excellent. Although this is fiction, the author did such an excellent job with Zarbonov, he’s the type of alien that made me want to be abducted by an alien, lol. Ella is distraught about her situation but she is strong and dealing with the hand she has been dealt, glad she wasn’t totally wimpy or weepy because only the strong can survive this type of lifestyle change. I enjoyed getting to know these characters and the way of life on this planet, so happy they found their perfect mate.
A quick read that will hold your interest! A great story with characters that grow on you. I loved the way this story flowed and the pace it kept. Beginning with an obscure abduction, through the auction and right on through the life of a woman bought for a purpose but living another one, the story stays interesting and easy to follow. I love reading books by Zara Zenia because they bring humanity to aliens of all colors. I never thought being abducted could be a positive thing, but sometimes things happen for a reason!
Ella is abducted and put in a room with other women at an auction house on an
Alien Planet. In the room, the blue “Glamazons” as she calls the alien women in
charge of the abducted women, come in and choose the next women to be put
up for auction. Ella is chosen for the next Sitting, where men bid on them.
Ella is bought by a big blue alien, Zarbonov who needs a wife and to provide
an heir for his family. Ingendia, his servant helps Ella learn the language and
how to acclimate to the new world she finds herself in. The goal for Ella is to
become Ella jan Zarbonov, mate to Zarbonov and mother to his children.
Zarbonov is sweet and patient and does his best to win the love and affection
of his chosen bride.
I enjoyed this story of Ella from earth and Zarbonov who really try to work to
make their relationship a good one with HEA.
