Six years before my phone rang and changed my life forever, I made a mistake.I met a girl, we had some fun, and then we had a baby. And I fell pretty damn hard for my daughter. I was going to be there. I was going to give her everything I never had. I was going to have a family. And then her mother disappeared and took my baby with her.And now she’s done it again. Because that call that changed my … she’s done it again. Because that call that changed my life was from my five-year-old daughter asking me if I knew where her Mommy was.
Then came the lawyers. And the demands from her super-rich, super-powerful messed-up family. And the little fact that my ex didn’t just “disappear” she was “presumed dead”.
I don’t live a traditional lifestyle and I’m not in a traditional relationship.
But I can pretend if I have to.
And that was the plan when my two “best friends” and I decided to hire “professional liar” Brooke Alder to be my fake fiancée.
It’s totally gonna work. As long as MY super-rich, super-powerful, messed-up family doesn’t get in the way.
Bossy Brothers: Joey is book two in the Bossy Brothers series and features a delicious, burning hot, MMFM, surprise-baby, fake fiancée story with a twist that proves committed couples don’t just come in two’s, mistakes can be a good thing, and for some people—non-traditional love is exactly the kind they should fight for.

Tony kind of blew my mind. First of all because (even if I got this rather early on) it didn’t go in the direction I expected from the start. Second of all because most of the action unfolded in Fort Collins – with some nice nods to Rook & Ronin series, and other stories Huss has written in the past.
The tension of this story was also very well done! The sexual tension, but also the tension that came with not knowing something, with a mystery lurking. And the overall story arc kind of showed me some more of what was going on as well.
There were some very humorous moments in Tony as well, especially with Soshee and Belinda, and that brought some much needed comic relief.
I don’t really know where to start other than that story was filled with so much emotion and a lot of it was dark and angry and full of sick obsessions and a really unhealthy relationship that lasted way to long .
Tony was a character that you instantly want to hate as he is angry and abusive and pretty much a douche bag all around and he was nothing but a big bully in my book but, some where along the line you realize that there is more to him than what you only see on the surface and you are intrigued to know what makes him tick and hoping along the way that he has some sort of redeeming qualities after all.
Belinda was a character that you loved instantly with her vibrant personality and she is strong and mouthy and feisty and your constantly wondering what is going to come out of her mouth next.
I got to say we loved those Vann brothers !
This story had so much going on and it the entire time .Tony is looking for answers as things are not adding up between the brothers so they want answers to their questions sending him over 2000 mile away to a town where he had some unfinished with Belinda formally known as Rosalie and that the town the Vann’s and Belinda are living in is not what it seems leaving even more and more of a mystery to uncover .
Overall we love that this story ended up having more that just one love story between its characters and we loved that once things started sorting themselves out bam you learn that there is secrets on top of secrets and they might lead back to The Company and its operatives past and present and so many of our favorite characters. We love that all these series intertwine with one another as it makes things all the more interesting and creates even more drama and so much suspense that it leaves us with more and more unanswered questions that now need solving!
Tony Dumas knows that something suspicious seems to be happening in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is where his ex, Belinda Baker, got sent 8 years ago. Since then he has moved on with his life but never forgotten about her until she suddenly appears back in Key West with her best friend Tara.
Belinda Baker has moved on from the woman she was in Key West but has never forgiven Tony for being the cause of her life being uprooted and turned upside down. Now she has decided to return to Fort Collins as she has few ties to Key West and move on with her life.
Yet Tony can’t let her go and soon gets the help of Soshee Ameci to make sure that Belinda winds up with Tony and Soshee wants Vann Vaughn who has had the longest crush on Belinda.
Will Tony be able to figure out why he is so drawn to Belinda and figure out what is going on in Fort Collins for his brother before he needs to leave?
Wow – this book was so much more than I thought it was going to be and at the same time completely different than what I was expecting.
I went into the book thinking I wanted one thing and then part way I really realized that I didn’t want that at all but something else.
Tony was interesting as he was such a cold hearted jerk but at the same time initially I was rooting for him to get what he wanted and I was confused by my feelings for that. He really didn’t deserve Belinda the way he treated her but I was still wanting them together for some odd reason.
Belinda was finally living her life work for the Vaughn brothers and their tattoo shop and she was dealing with the crush the youngest Vaughn brother, Vann, had on her. She seemed to hate Tony and blamed her for uprooting her life and forcing her to leave Key West. I was super curious about what Belinda really wanted as she still seemed to be drawn to Tony and they had unfinished business.
I loved meeting Soshee and her look at life really intrigued me. She was carefree yet was on a mission to obtain Vann for herself. I liked that she wasn’t pushy with Tony but really made him look at things differently and she almost challenged him in a way he wasn’t expecting.
Vann was so much more grown up than his age showed and he was determined to prove to Belinda that he deserved a chance with her. He was also super observant about what was going on his town and knew that something big had happened. I also liked that he really wanted everyone involved to have their chance to say how they felt and what they were going through.
At a certain point things started falling into place with Tony realizing what was happening in town and he opened up to Soshee about what he thought was happening. I liked how well they got along and how easy it was for him to bounce ideas off of her.
Things started happening and you realize that things are going as they should and you are happy but you also realize that a huge confrontation is coming and it was awesome!! Lots of things were said and my jaw hit the floor a few times. When Midnight showed up I was so shocked and loved how things began to happen and I can’t wait to learn more about her but the stuff she said made me think that there are so many more books coming!
The end was so awesome and I can’t wait for more!

So I will warn you and tell you this is not your normal romance book at all but somehow it works perfect for these characters. If you’ve read the series especially the last book, then you know there’s history between Tony and Belinda but you also know there was sparks flying between her and Vann..I will say I laughed at the names of Vann’s siblings cause man I felt sorry for their parents trying to keep all those names straight, had to be very difficult. Despite all the stalking and decite that happened,
a love story came out of this book. I loved Soshee, Tony,Vann and Belinda. I loved that healing and truths finally came out. That they were able to honest and open up with each other and move on. This was unlike any book I’ve read before and even know, I know it was necessary to the storyline, I hated how stuck on the people they were especially Tony. He was all about Belinda and not giving a great and wacky girl a chance. I am glad he got his head out of his butt and finally was able to move on.
Omg … the plot THICKENS!!
Bossy Brother’s Tony was not at all what I expected, but it was so much more!!! Tony chases Rosalinda(Rosalie and Belinda) back to Ft. Collins… with the need to figure out a way to get her out of his system. While stalking her, he meets Soshee Fenici, who has been stalking Vann Vaughn. This is not your standard love story…. omg why did I not see the Fenici tie-in before!!!!!
These series of books (Rook and Ronin, The Company, Meet Me In the Dark, 3-2-1, Wasted Lust, the Mister Series, Bossy Brothers, and Creeping Beautiful series…O.M.G. if you haven’t started reading this beautiful, complicated, intriguing story that twists into each section of these books and makes you re-think everything you have read, you need to. I have NEVER been so fascinated with the plot twists in these books, and I absolutely can’t wait for the next book.
I recieved an ARC for my honest review.
I am obsessed with all things Bossy since the start of this series and Tony’s story had it all. Angst, intrigue, sex, romance, twists, and the shenanigans that these boys bring.
Julie Huss does an incredible of job of intertwining time lines with characters we know an love while bringing these fabulous new storylines into the forefront. Weaving a web of sexy love stories with grand gestures, stalkers and tattoos!!
A fabulous addition to the series and one that reveals oh so much!
So. Good. JA Huss has a way with words, plots and scenes to make you keep coming back for more. And trying to get my thoughts and words down to write a review is almost impossible. But you know what? I’ll do this every single time for more amazing books by this author.
This book was full of raw emotions, sexy times, heart stopping moments and of course laughter that just make you fall in love with these characters right from the start.
That first chapter?!… Holy Hell. It grabbed my attention, pulled me in and refused to let go. I couldn’t wait to soak up the rest of the story given the start hooked me in. I loved the relationships all these characters had with each other, I loved how easy going and fun they all were. Seeing a new side to Vann… OMG! That alpha-ness, broody and hot side to him was panty melting sexy. Not to mention how jaw dropping Tony was too… these guys were pure hotness and I couldn’t get enough. Deep down I had my heart set on a couple but I really enjoyed how this book turned out.
I loved going back to the Shrike family, even for just a little bit. I’ve forgotten how much I loved and enjoyed reading about their tribe. And knowing that everyone is kinda involved in some way with the Company, I can’t wait to see some more of my all time favourite characters appear again.
Those twists and new information that just came out of no where?! I had to stop and re-read paragraphs half a dozen times just to make sure I read it right… damn, those turns in the story had me excited to find out what else there was to reveal.
Bring on the next Bossy Brother!
Bossy Brothers: Tony features two girls falling for the wrong men and two men falling for the right girls. A family of tatted up brothers and a town filled with secrets and danger. A story of earned chances and first dates. Of coming to terms with the past and finding a way into the future.
This description offered by the author hits this book on the head! The past history between Tony Dumas and Belinda Baker first came to light in the previous book, Bossy Alonzo, when she road-tripped with her best friend, Tara, and Vann Vaughn (we’ll come back to Vann) to Key West, her former hometown. Due to circumstances that involved Tony, that happened 8 years ago, she relocated to Fort Collins, where she works at Sick Boyz, the tattoo parlor that Vann and his brothers own. Still angry with Tony, she returns back to Colorado with Vann, who she has put into the ‘best friend” zone. Her tumultuous relationship with Tony was always filled with angry sex, yet the two share a connection even after 8 years. Tony follows Belinda, formerly known to him as Rosalie, to Fort Collins because he’s confused about why he can’t get someone that he loathes out of his mind. While in Fort Collins, he meets Sochee, who happens to have a huge crush on Vann, but he’s been in love with Belinda since they met 8 years ago!
Thankfully, the story is told from both Belinda and Tony’s points of view, so we have insights to help us understand their true feelings as each of them figures it out! Those respective journeys are what make this book so fascinating to read and enjoy. Underneath their story is an overarching mystery, which JA Huss has woven through many of her series, surrounding the FBI. This piece adds intrigue and humor with the way our characters handle details as they uncover them. This part of the story does not get resolved, but the couples do sort themselves out in the end! Bravo!
The Dumas family have a side business in Key West that is operated from a good heart, but still illegal. If you read Alonzo’s book (if not do not read Tony’s book first) you know that Tara, Belinda, and Vann are wondering about the number of witness protection people in Fort Collins. Something is off. Alonzo senses it too.
Tony leaves Key West on a mission from his brother Alonzo. There is something going on in Fort Collins that makes the Dumas brothers anxious. However, Tony’s personal mission is to track down Belinda. Tony needs to get Belinda out of his system. The only way he knows is to have one last roll in the hay. Belinda isn’t crazy about Tony’s honesty about a resolution, which sets up some serious stalking, and bickering.
Belinda and Tony were childhood sweethearts. Their relationship was a little kinky. Tony can’t understand why Belinda calls to him, and he isn’t happy about it. Back when Belinda lived in Key West, Tony helped to get her in the witness protection program. She witnessed something she should not know about. Their break was difficult for both of them, but after eight years, they moved on. That is until Belinda showed up in Key West again.
I love Bossy Brothers: Tony. When Tara, Belinda and Vann were in Florida, I expected Belinda and Vann to get together. When I started this book, I thought Belinda and Tony were going to be a couple. JA Huss decided to keep me guessing for a few chapters. At first, it pisses me off. I’m talking to Julie via Tony on my Kindle, letting everyone know this isn’t how the story is supposed to go.
Fortunately, It didn’t take long before I found myself mesmerized and into the story. Bossy Brothers are in the mist of one of my favorite Huss worlds and I was in love. The deeper I fell into the story, the more I enjoyed the way the unconventional use of the two points of view. It is two parallel stories unfolding at the same time. I love Soshee and the secrets we find out about her. I love that Belinda is using her outstanding art skills at Sick Boyz Ink. I love, love, love that Veronica Bombshell and her family are here. Finally, The Company is circling around too. I couldn’t put the book down.
Bossy Brothers: Tony ticks off all my boxes. I love the characters. One of my favorite settings. Visits with old friends. Mostly I love that the story keeps me guessing. You must read Tony’s book, so that means you must read Alonzo first. This is a great series from the first Boston Brother. What a lovely ride Julie continues with Tony’s story.
Oh Man, I seriously need a Vann!! He is so fine!!
Of course first things first:
This is Book #6 and You will Most Def Need to read Book#5 BEFORE this book or you going be so LOST!!
First I was a bit confused as to why Tony was taking a trip to Fort Collins CO. If you haven’t been in that part of the country with Julie Huss well, you already been missing out!! Lots of things happen in and around Fort Collins!! Like Sick Boyz Tattoo Shop, with all the Vaughn Brothers!! Julie I am rocking to hear about a “Vic Book” I mean seriously I have always needed to know about Vic as in Viscious, yes who names a boy that? Vaughn’s do that’s who! I mean who doesn’t wanna meet Vic now, C’mon! Lol
This little gem of a book is written because a Love/Hate Relationship with Tony Dumas and Belinda Baker and you’ve read. Tony is Alonzo brother and book 5 (about Alonzo and Tara which ya gotta read before this or you are LOST!. Anyways they were having a Long Distance Make Believe Phone Romance hot sex and all. Its a make believe librarian and he was what? Brain fart, maybe he was a tax consultant? Something geeky like that. Most assuredly OR not a Dumas brother of Key West? A son of the Sea’s secret life of the family who believes in Sirens, yes oh yes he does believe that! So you gotta read that Lol
Anyways Belinda just so happened is best friends with Tara the Liberian from Fort Collins but before that Tara is from CA, a bit of a transplant with some FBI help. So anyways Belinda Baker who is now living in Fort Collins for the past 8 yrs, pretty much changed life and no ties to Key West until her best friend needs a ride to Key West and fast. Belinda says she is going no way would she let a friend take a trip like that and of course then we have Vann Vaughn. And he, well he must drive them. He is Best Frands with Belinda so he volunteers and all kinds of things going on here.
So now if ya haven’t read Book #5 go read it and hopefully that makes since.
I Loved how this story is told! Its Tony Dumas come to find out why he cant stop thinking of his once girlfriend whom he didn’t get along with anyways and he was fine that she was sent to Fort Collins, goodbye and good riddance. but that’s not how he is feeling now that has seen her. He cant sleep, or eat of work without thinking of his high school sweetheart. The one he fought with and had a weird little fetish sex life of a sorts. Is he guilty of that? He decides to go to Fort Collins and see whats going on, is the FBI snooping and into what.
And what you might not expect to find is the Belinda has Zero desire to see Tony, she hates him now, that life is over. So she doesn’t understand the interest in her when all he did was make her sad and cry tears and be sad. Weirdest is he knew she cried even like way back and he liked the tears. Does he want them back? He doesn’t know but he wants them and he knows that is sick but they were his, he cant help but to think if he goes and finds her and they get each other out of their systems maybe he can go back to not knowing or caring about Rosalie (from Key West) but in her new life she is Belinda Baker, receptionist an tattoo artist in training at Sick Boyz were people come from everywhere to get a tat. She has always Loved art, did all kinds of wall art and graffiti in Key West and was good enough to do a mural on a wall. But that wall is owned by someone else that painted over her art. So she plans to do tattoos, she is happy in her life she has built. he is actually happy she found something in art because she was really good and with the Tattoos he has seen from Vann and the other going in an out of Sick Boyz he knows its a legit place, but he doesn’t really care he just needs her and for them to set together and just settle up, get up all this pent up aggression and jealousy they have always had OUT!!!
Belinda misses and needs her best friend that moved to her hometown, but that’s not her home now, this is home isn’t it?
She just has her job and Vann. He has been around since she came 8 yrs ago, matter of fact he got her the job she is still doing.
And Vann has zero intentions of any shenanigan’s going on with Tony, he wants him gone. Problem is Vann is Belinda’s only best friend as of now, ao ia it tread lightly or risk blowing it all up. And he knows he has much different feelings than she does and she can feel those because he has helped her make a good life here. A job, apartment, became a great friend so if anything changed now she would be in trouble because she would again have nobody, well she still has Tara technically but she is in Key West now, so that hunt has been on, because she needs a new best friend, someone she likes and right now she cant find one, they all cant stand her because of unfounded jealousy of Vann, for her its everything Vann Vann Vann, everyone loves Vann!! She has told Vann for years she doesn’t feel that way for him. But Tony, she has wept for him and she fears she will all over again. He has come to break her all over again. The sick unhealthy relationship they have always carried with them is lurking, and she is not sure she can handle it, the feeling hit right when she saw Tony!
And Tony, oh he puts that extra blood boil on for Vann. But does Vann start off strong or no, he can have Soshee right?
Yeah so in walks Soshee Aneci and just so happens Tony bumps into her, so Soshee well she is in love with Vann, she works for her aunt and she has perfect views of Sick Boyz just 2 doors down and she see’s Tony his first day in town and watches him watching Belinda because well Soshee she doesn’t like Belinda because she is standing in her way of her soulmate Vann, that just doesn’t do.
So Soshee meets Tony they decide to team up to work together and he cant get Belinda out of his mind or figure out what is going on with himself and do a lil snooping his brother asked him to do. and this is a story we get from JA Huss. 2 POV’s Tony’s and Belinda’s but whose story is it?
Well ya gotta read to figure that out.
The is a good lil bit of some excerpts pulled an shared from someone but who and when in the story? Who gets the Love Story I mean we are in Fort Collins CO people, pay attention because it might not even be in this book, right? Ha ha!!
“I’m obsessed by him, My Love is All consuming. its sweet, sweet sick feeling in my stomach, that makes me hungry for more, its a simple Love too, A cliché kind of love that comes from watching to many rom com movies. Pure and Innocent, but still sexy in a fun way”
Yep that….I love all of this!!
Anyways great way to work us up for this story Julie, the characters awesome, some you love to hate on and some you instantly LOVE! This kind of work in storytelling at its best! It comes through a passion of writing and stepping out of bounds a lil bit. Sometimes surprising us with what we will get. Just what we find and go through this time in Fort Collins.
her writing always lifts me in some capacity I cannot explain it. It can be hard core, Cray cray, killers and whatever she throws our way I seem to soak it up!! I love that about JA Huss, she can just grab me from hanging by threads sometimes and by the end I am smiling. I am not worried about Covid19 or my hubs at work, my grandson. I’m just in this book, its what I have to do today because I already knew what it was going be once I opened this new book, that a new adventure would pour outta this woman once again and I would LOVE IT!!!
Jump into these Bossy Books, they are fun exciting, obnoxious at times and sexy as hell!!
Rocked it Julie!! Thank You Again….<3
JA Huss has yet again surprised me with this story. As per usual nothing I expected to happen… happened. But man oh man was this a good one!! Sometimes things really do happen for a reason. When they say everything has a way of working itself out, or everything happens for a reason? Someone, somewhere knew what they were talking about. There is a line in here and I don’t know why it hit me as hard as it did but “Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength. But loving someone deeply gives you courage.” That is now my new motto. Absolutely love it. Tony and Belinda’s story is not conventional in any way shape or form. What they have is anything but normal. But sometimes you need that un-normal to find your normal. Sometimes you need to be pushed a little to actually see what’s in front of you. Sometimes you need to stop and look around and pay even the tiniest bit of attention to what is going on around you, and then the pieces slowly fall into place. This story gets us one tiny step closer to finding out the secrets holding everything together. How all these worlds that are years apart can fit together. How old favorites come back to pull it all together. How JA Huss can do all that and keep everything moving forward and keeping us on the edge of our seats?! This is one of the main reasons she is an auto-click author for me.
Blown away is the only way I can describe how I’m feeling after reading this book! Yes there was romance and hot alpha males but there was so much more. The character of Belinda had so much depth. I so like the way her character was written. This author weaves a tale like no other. You can’t wait until you find out what happens in the end of the story yet you don’t want the story to end. I just loved it Big time recommend for this one!
Tony hasn’t thought of Belinda in awhile. He certainly isn’t in love with her. But for some reason he cannot get her off his mind. They once had a fucked up thing. Perhaps they might have it again? But maybe not because when Tony meets Belinda’s friend, Soshee something about her intrigues him. They’re kindred souls of a kind and think they’re each getting what they want out of their association with each other.
But what about Belinda? She certainly doesn’t love Tony. She sorta hates him actually. But he’s back and seems to want something from her. Her best friend Vann is in love with her and it freaks her out because she doesn’t feel the same. Or does she?
Holy shit, this is a crazy story. 2 separate couples who weren’t expecting each other, find something with each other. But it’s not just the relationships, there’s a whole lot of suspense going on, a big mystery, and honestly, it is so entertaining and I couldn’t stop reading, I had to know what was going to happen next!
I am such a fan of this story! Like other books by this author, once you start you will not want to put it down. Told in dual POV, this story is different than anything I have read before. Two people telling their story. A story with such a twist I could not have predicted but loved more than how I thought it would end up. I enjoyed the emotions, the twists and turns but my favorite part was watching love grow. I thought it was great that characters from prior books were in this one and more details of how they are all connected were in this story. I cannot wait to see what is next by this very talented author.
Another awesome read from the Bossy Brothers Series. Tony definitely wasn’t a normal romance, and not what you expect from an enemies to lovers story, but I don’t want to give too much away. All I can give is that it’s well written, full of emotion & angst, wrapped up with some mystery.
I strongly recommend you read Alonzo (Bossy Brothers #5) before reading Tony, it provides all the background story that you will need to understand the plot.
Tony sent his ex away, 8 years ago, but she returned recently with Alonzo’s new girlfriend, Tara. They never liked each other, their relationship was always based on hate. Although she left, she has been on Tony’s mind since, so he crosses the country to finish things forever. What he finds is way more than he ever expected.
This is my fav Julie..no one, and I mean no one, can pull of crazy stories like this one. You start reading and you think you know what’s going on but you are dead wrong!
All the characters in this story are either people you met before in this series or people you know from others, and by God, they are all connected in a way or another!
I don’t even know what to say except that I can’t get enough and I am ready for what’s yet to come.
Love these Bossy Brothers!!
Tony travels 2000+ miles to get Belinda, er Rosalie out of his system. He has a hard time thinking of her by her protective custody name. As he stalks her – he finds a kindred spirit in the waitress Soshee who works across the street from Sick Boyz the tattoo parlor where Belinda works, and Vann the subject of Soshee’s stalking. Having company while you stalk someone is quite entertaining!
I hesitate to say more, which might give plot away. This is my new favorite of the series. It is double the fun, and both humorous and sensual. A marvelous read!!
Whoa, what?!?!?! The twists and turns! Just when you think you know what is going to happen…BAM! Julie throws you for a loop, a curveball, and you are just left with your mouth gaping open. This is not your traditional love story. It was so unexpected but I loved it. I ran the gamut of emotions.
This book was such an experience. I don’t know how else to say it. The plot was intriguing and unique. The characters were amazing. It was a page-turner and definitely unputdownable with all of the feels! I laughed out loud at the banter. The passion and steam sizzled. The romance was swoony. What more can you ask for? It is a must-read. I do recommend reading Bossy Brothers: Alonzo before reading this one to have a better understanding of the situation.
***ARC generously provided in exchange for an honest review.***
Extraordinary Read. Phenomenal characters. Fantastic storyline.
The author does it again. Another page-turner that you’ll fall in love with from the very beginning.
Highly recommended!
And she’s done it yet again. Yes, I’m saying once more how J.A. Huss has completely mesmerized me with her words and Bossy Brothers: Tony may just be my favorite in the series. There is this deep poignancy as the story I thought would play out, changes course and instead of two love stories, we are treated to two! AND I’m convinced Huss is one in a small handful who can pull that off seamlessly.
The Author herself says that book 5, Bossy Brothers: Alonzo should be read first. And I have to agree with her. The stage is set as Tony Dumas sees Rosalie, now known as Belinda, after 8 years in book 5 and now that she is back in Fort Collins, Co after her brief time home in Key West, Fl, he decides it’s time to finally get her out of his system in the way he only knows how: to literally f*&k her senseless one last time. I sat here thinking that it would lead to them finally being together but I couldn’t have been more wrong.
The story progresses at a wonderful pace, with Vann Vaughn, and the quirky yet very endearing Soshee Ameci adding just the right balance as permanent residents of Fort Collins and two people who turn both Tony and Belinda’s unsuspecting hearts upside down. Again, I expected a whole different scenario but Huss turned the tables on us a bit and what transpires is exactly how it should have happened all along. Right along with Tony and Belinda, we just didn’t know it yet.
The continuing sub-story of Fort Collins itself, the whys and what will happen next wrt the Dumas situation/family business add that perfect sense of mystery and intrigue as usual. It’s amazing to me how Huss keeps extending the different worlds she has created through the years and knows how to keep them connected so damn easily when I’m sitting here trying to keep it all straight. But she cleverly gives us just enough of an explanation to be able to follow along just fine.
Getting two love stories for the price of one was more than a pleasant surprise and the depth of emotion from all the characters gave this book a truly warm feeling for me. The sincerity from Tony, in particular, was really great to see since he seemed aloof and uncaring previously. Soshee is a true bonus as she is quick-witted and sincere and her maturity is way beyond her young years. Vann is the standout since he became so much more in my eyes and those around him than I first thought. He is a love and his eight year devotion to Belinda and not just as a love-sick puppy but as a true protector and friend, warmed my heart something fierce.
In the end, I feel as if Tony and Belinda got exactly what they needed from both each other and from Vann and Soshee. A whirlwind as usual but filled with feels that I’m still smiling about. Leaving us locked and loaded for what will transpire next in the wonderful world of Huss, Bossy Brothers: Tony is all kinds of wonderful and is yet another incredible addition to this well-written and masterful series.
5+ stars!
