He’s the boss. But she’s ready to take charge.“Wonderfully witty and fresh, Bossed is a must-read for anyone who loves a sassy, modern heroine and an in-charge alpha hero.”—New York Times bestselling author Lauren Layne Jenny: Job interviews are a bitch under the best of circumstances, but when your potential boss is the world’s biggest prick, that’s when you should simply walk away. It’s just … world’s biggest prick, that’s when you should simply walk away. It’s just that I need this job so badly—and I’m mesmerized by Ethan Mason’s piercing gaze. Men like him aren’t supposed to exist in real life. But under the tailored suits and GQ looks, Ethan simmers with barely restrained ambition. And no matter how hard I work to fight the attraction, I’m going to get burned.
Ethan: You don’t become a top agent without learning how to close a deal. I always get what—or who—I want, by staying cool and in command. Then Jenny Jackson walks into my office with her lush curves and “screw you” attitude and blows away my intentions of keeping things professional. All I can think about is exploring the perfect body hidden beneath those conservative clothes or shutting her saucy mouth with one hot kiss. Jenny’s worth breaking the rules over—if I can convince her to break the rules for me.
Bossed is sexy. And by that, we mean sexy. Like 18+ sexy. This ebook includes an excerpt from another Loveswept title.

Very fun
Book has moments of extremely good story telling and moments of tedium.
Great stuff! Very enjoyable, modern, fresh, and fun. Loved the characters.
Can’t await to read it again!
sex obsessed
Fun dialogue, great characters, unique approach.
5 Stars! I absolutely loved this book!
This is a employer- employee to lovers book.
Jenny Jackson needs this job, her dad is very sick and the bills are piling up. I loved Jenny, she is feisty and when someone gives her shit she is quick with a comeback.
Ethan is the owner of the company that Jenny is interviewing at. He can me an ass but deep down he is a great guy, who is struggling to get over things from his childhood.
There were moments where I wanted to smack Ethan, but moments that I wanted to hug him as well.
The chemistry between the characters is off the charts, Will they be able to make a relationship work or will the fact that he is her boss come between them? Will the fact that Jenny’s dad is in pour health and she needs to be with him often break the relationship they have blooming.
I will be honest and say I did shed a tear towards the end of the book, this story had my emotions all over the place.
Please tell me Matt will be getting a story! I need more of him!
A very good book.
Did not like the way the female lead over reacted to her problems. I had a hard time deciding to finish this book. She is a brat!
Bossed is a fast paced, witty story with some heartbreak thrown in for good measure. I loved it! The first chapter alone had me hook, line and sinker. I truly enjoyed Ethan and Jenny!!
Jenny is an intelligent, sassy baseball fan who needs a good job to help support her ailing father. She loves her family and sports and this job opportunity can help her family in so many ways. Jenny will just have to put up with the one man who pushes her buttons, in more ways than one, to provide for her family.
Jenny runs into Ethan prior to her interview and it literally took seconds for Ethan and Jenny to be at each other’s throats and stay that way throughout the book. Their verbal sparring leads way to an attraction that they are both reluctant to explore…at first.
Ethan is the owner of a successful sports agency who uses his past to define his future. He’s cold with a lack of empathy for anyone, until Jenny turns that all upside down. Ethan likes to think he’s going to break Jenny, the sassy one who has no fear of him, but what his brain wants to say and what actually comes out of his mouth are totally different. He knows having Jenny work for him is a bad idea and that he’ll never be able to keep his hands off her but it was fun to watch him try!
“Smart, intelligent, dignified women like her didn’t ask for favors, they didn’t back down – they didn’t break.”
I enjoyed watching the relationship of Ethan and Jenny evolve from nothing but snarky attitudes into something great. Both of them are broken in their own ways and you learn why through their relationships; Jenny with her dad and Kelsey, and Ethan with his best friend Matt. I love that their family/friends each played an important role in this story and weren’t just there as fillers.
The connection between Ethan and Jenny wasn’t as easy as you would think, but I truly feel the author did an excellent job of outlining why. Sometimes I feel that Ethan and Jenny were a tad bit overdramatic, but I have to say that the sex definitely made up for it
OK, this is the first book from this author that I’ve read. I picked it up because it guaranteed snarky banter. I certainly delivered. It’s a light, quick, pure brain candy read.
I really enjoyed this book. Can’t wait to read the next one.
I read very little. Was not something I would like.
I’ll take being Bossed by Ethan any place any time. Yes Ethan does come off a bit arrogant but he’s met his match when Jenny comes in for an interview, she is a strong willed woman that will fight for what she believes. If you’re looking for steamy sessions Ethan will make sure you are left absolutely satisfied. This book has a nice blend of laughter, sexiness and yes even a few ready eyed moments. Matt is one helluva friend to Ethan as Kelsey is to Jenny, it’s nice seeing that they are there when their friends need them most. There are times I want to scream at both Ethan and Jenny individually for their actions but they find their way and hit it out of the ball park in the end with correcting their issues. Loved their story and can’t wait for more from this group, there’s a lot we still don’t know about Matt and Kelsey. I’m itching for more especially since we were given a taste of Scored at the end.
This was a quirky, fun, fast read that involved employee/employer and lots of hot, HOT and dirty sexy times. There was a lot of snark and crazy angst to get through but what is left is worth it. Jenny and Ethan are definitely made for each other. The secondary characters are interesting and keep the story going.
I recommend this one for a quick and fun read.
