Ah, love
Broken alpha meets his match! Great, fun love story. Read it in one sitting and thought it was going to go one way, and was happy to see it go another happier way. On to the next! #HappyReading
The chemistry of Patton and Raquel —
FIRE would seem cool to the touch in comparison.
The journey to the HEA is filled with moments of “YES!”
Tia Louise has done it once again by creating a fun, wonderful, story and characters. She makes you want to discover what happens with all the side characters as well as reread the story to make sure you did not miss one thing.
Snag it today and ENJOY!
Boss Of Me was the story I never knew I needed. I had already read the books about Patton’s military buddies Sawyer & Taron and I loved their books, but I didn’t realize that Boss Of Me was connected to them. When I realized this I immediately started reading it.
If you enjoy these tropes, you will love Boss Of Me.
*enemies to lovers
*office romance
*former military man
*feisty heroine
Patton is ex-military and CEO of his father’s business. After things got bad with his crew during his stint in the military Patton decides he wants something that can provide the life he wants to for his military buddies. After everything they experienced, he just wants to make life a bit easier for them all. He has control issues and his biggest fear is losing one of his brothers until she comes along.
Raquel is fresh from out of school, graduated top of her class and the only job she wants is the one that puts her inside Patton’s world so she can find out what happened to her sister all those years ago that would make her run like she did. In order to find this out she has to get close to the devil himself. He’s detached, demanding and so hottt; every time she’s around him she finds it harder and harder to keep her hands to herself.
Between her finding out what really happened to her sister and him trying not to lose control; I couldn’t stop reading. I LOVE Tia’s characters & books.
**Boss Of Me is a standalone, Patton is spoken of in other books of Tia’s but Boss Of Me is Patton & Raquel’s only book.
This is a great, great read.
This is the story of Patton & Raquel. Patton inherited his father’s commercial real estate firm in Nashville, Tennessee, which he transformed to a tech-based company, Fletcher International, with his two military friends, Taron and Marley. The third military friend, Sawyer, went back home to his peach orchards. Raquel is hired to work for him by Taron, to take over for him. As intense as Patton is all the time, Raquel doesn’t let him get the best of her. The electricity between them is off the charts. Wow, are they made for each other. They are really funny together. She is a fighter, and he is losing control. All of them go through a lot in this book. No spoilers as to what, but it is very emotional. I didn’t want this story to end, that’s how good it is. It deserves a rating of over a five. Looking forward to reading more of Tia Louise.
Tia always puts a smile on my face! Boss Of Me was pure entertainment, the push and pull between them!! It was sexy, steamy and sultry!! Those two were on fire!
Raquel was starting a new job where her sister used to work. She warned that her new boss was the devil but would Raquel agree?
Patton only wanted one thing – for his company to be on top. He didn’t have time for the “new hire” to be overstepping her pay grade even if she brought him to his knees.
When lines are crossed and truths uncovered, would it be the end of Patton’s world or would Raquel be the only one to save him?
So many emotions throughout this entire book!! Raquel was definitely Patton’s match! The way she challenged him was exactly what he needed.
3.5 stars
The bottom line for this hero is usually business, being protective of his former combat compadres, and proving to his daddy he can not only run the family business, but take it to new heights. Along came the heroine and he’s soon realizing he needs so much more than his nose to the grindstone, lonely existence. With instant attraction covered up with back and forth barbs/bantering, he tries unsuccessful to make himself immune to her wit, sass, beauty, and charm.
Other than the rather unusual, for me “say what?”, sibling scenario, I did enjoy this romantic read and finished in one evening.
Being a knucklehead and thinking babysitting and just watching one of the compadres I just mentioned continue spiraling down a self-destructive path bothered me. I wanted a quicker, tmore direct, tough love approach. The reference to his HEA at the end (and the person he wound up with) wasn’t totally unexpected. I just expected another book to spin off from it. Maybe it’s out there, and I just don’t know about it.

Sizzling Office Romance! I loved the chemistry and banter between the two main characters.
Omg Patton Fletcher is one sexy devil. The chemistry between Raquel & Patton is off the charts. Once you start reading you will be glued too your kindle. Tia has done it again with an amazing story and amazing characters that will stick with you. Another 5 Star read that I really enjoyed.
I love Tia Louise for a reason, well this book just added to that, amazing office romance where Rachel and Patton chemistry is off the charts, they start a relationship outside the office but the secrets he keeps will pay their toll. This story is steamy, swoony and everything you need from an ex military alpha boss and a smart mouth sexy woman. I totally recommend reading it.
One piece of advice that Raquel’s sister gave her about her new job: don’t fall for her cold-hearted boss Patton Fletcher—in other words, just be professional. Easy, right? Except, sparks fly when they meet for the first time, melting the ice around Patton’s heart…
Tia Louise delivers yet another sexy, steamy story (with some laughs thrown in!) The chemistry between Raquel and Patton was off the charts right from the start. Raquel was such a strong character and I loved the way she pushed back against Patton.
Lucy Rivers and Teddy Hamilton did a great job narrating.
Boss of Me is a military, enemies-to-lovers, workplace contemporary romance written in dual first-person POV and done in dual narration. It’s a standalone that ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.
I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
Tia Louise, you can do no romance wrong! This was another perfect enemies-to-lovers romance that I quickly got lost in.
Patton and Raquel were perfection. From their undeniable chemistry to their red-hot passion, everything just worked. I was left a swoony puddle of fangirl over Patton’s protective streak. The man is all broody alpha and I was here for it! Boss of Me had everything: drama, angst, plenty of steam, and a great romance with a HEA.
Narration by Teddy Hamilton and Lucy Rivers was all the things. They’re quickly rising to the top as one of my favorite narrating duos. If their name is on the audiobook I’m buying it. Definitely credit-worthy! 5 stars.
God is there anything Tia can’t write?! This one was so different from the other books but such a good different.
Seriously love everything she writes and I always keep saying this one is my favorite then she comes out with another and I say it is my favorite but really I love them all so much!!!
Patton is used to be a leader and giving orders from his time in the military. But can he use those leadership skills as a CEO? He is used to everyone doing as they are told and not bothering his brooding ways. That all changes when a little spitfire fights her way in.
Raquel or Rocky as her family calls her, is one of the smartest ladies out there. Graduated top of her class and got offered a job right away at one of the best accounting firms out there. But this place also holds some dark times for her family. Can she work through those dark times and make a name for herself while getting her family name back in good graces or will this devil she is warned about get to her?
Gosh I seriously loved everything about this book. Tia knows how to write eye catching books! I couldn’t put this one down. This epilogue has to be one of my favorites as well!!! I love me a good epilogue and she rocked it with this one!
5⃣PLUS!
total recommend this baby!!!!
Tia Louise is quickly becoming a must author for me. I really enjoyed Boss of Me and the narrators that brought this book to life. I love listening to audio books and Lucy Rivers and Teddy Hamilton did a good job telling this story.

Loved this enemies to lovers romance! Raquel and Patton were the perfect couple. From the angst to the inevitable chemistry, Boss of Me was fabulous! Both characters are strong and battle against each other without backing down! Patton definitely met his match with Raquel!
“I said I could resist you. I was wrong…”
This book is filled with heartache, guilt, regret, secrets, humor, healing, new beginnings and hope.
“All I can think is if this is wrong, if he’s the devil, then take me to hell. I’ll go willingly.”
I loved so much about this book. Even though there was so much pain and self loathing throughout there was also healing. There were struggles, misunderstandings, growing apart and closer together, recovery and forgiveness. Even in the dark times I loved the humor sprinkled throughout
This captivating romance had me under its spell right from the start and didn’t let go. A beautiful love story that is powerfully raw, incredibly sexy, and breathtakingly romantic.
Patton is incredibly sexy, fiercely protective, and charismatic. Raquel is genuine, insightful, and very independent. From their very first encounter they are inexplicably drawn to one another. Try as they may to fight their attraction, they are powerless to stop the fall. Their attraction is magnetic and chemistry is not only off-the-charts; it is palpable. The flirting, the banter, the rapport and the sarcasm between the characters was so much fun to read and was so natural. Their passion is sizzling and explosive. Together they are magical and witnessing them fall in love is absolutely breathtaking. They share a soul-deep connection that neither can explain. The storyline is flawlessly written and the characters are well-developed and relatable. I could feel every emotion the characters experienced. How they fight for each other is powerfully moving. The supporting characters were equally well-written and I really liked the family moments that show of unconditional love and support. I loved every second of this incredible story and really loved the ending.
Boss of Me by Tia Louise was a romantic tale of love in the workplace, skeletons in the closet, misconceptions gone awry and a whole lot of sexy time. Well-written and well-paced this standalone is told in dual POV between Patton Fletcher & Raquel Morgan.
Patton is the boss and the man behind the inherited family business of commercial real estate, the AirBNB of the business world. He is ex-military and his work partners are also his Seal Team guys. In an effort to give them all a goal post military and keep them together. With one teammate determined to drink away his memories, another in constant pain, he has his work cut out for him. When the new hire shows up and is a beautiful woman (he prefers to only hire men after the last incident) he balks at the thought of working with her. But even stubborn and stoic Patton cannot deny her business acumen and ability to do her job excellently.
Raquel is so happy to be working for Fletcher International, even knowing that her sister quit this place a couple of years ago and then had her breakdown. Even realizing that her new boss is kind of stubborn, demanding and hot. She isn’t supposed to think that way about her boss but as long as she doesn’t act on it, right?
The back and forth between Raquel and Patton and the chemistry too – Phew! – and the growth they go through is well written. Enjoy!

“The only way to get peace is to find it within yourself.”
This was my first book by this author and I really liked what I read. The story is a little too fast paced for my liking and some parts could have surely needed a deep dive. However, the characters are very easy to like and I enjoyed spending time with them.
“I don’t know what this is. I don’t know if it’s a good idea or a bad one. I just know it’s right, and you know it too.”
Patton with his alpha male vibes is an intriguing character with a great heart. But sometimes loving too hard makes you blind for the needs of your loved ones. So his character is not all good or broody or moody or caring. His character is also sad and heart-breaking.
Raquel is a clever and beautiful woman who doesn’t take everything that’s thrown at her. Instead she takes the opportunity to turn things around and to show how strong she is.
Patton and Raquel are quite a match that was supposed to happen.
“…if this is wrong, if he’s the devil, then take me to hell, I’ll go willingly.”
Boss Of Me is an engaging story with troubled heroes and a strong heroine.
Tia Louise always gives hot stories, she has the best alpha men and the women that try to tame them.
I love books where they have to work to be together. Where love doesn’t just fall at their feet so easily. Where the woman is strong enough to handle the man without ever losing her ability to be a lady.
Raquel (Rocky) is smart, intelligent and starting a new job where her sister is a former employee. Patton is arrogant, hardcore and “the devil”. Oh, and by the way he is her boss. Watching these two discover each other and grow is what makes this book so good.
The Boss of Me is a 5-star journey through all emotional turmoil a couple can face. There must be some angst, some growth, some direction. And always there must be some heat! And boy did Tia bring the heat. After all, Patton is “the devil.”
