Oh when the mighty fall, how much fun it is! I loved meeting Patton and his partners and watching him tumble head over heels for a woman who was totally his equal in every way. Tia Louise writes a hot, sexy, intense and drama filled story not to be missed!
New release from Tia Louise!
Who wouldn’t want to work for a man like Patton Fletcher? He was sexy, incredibly handsome, impeccably dressed and had mysterious tattoos that were hidden by his dress shirt. He was driven, ruthless, controlling and very hard to read. He was also brave, having served his country, and felt that he had to protect his men during the war, and when they came home. Which all added up to Patton being a complex man who definitely met his match when Rocky walked into his office.
Raquel “Rocky” Morgan, was bold, brilliant and beautiful with a sassy personality and kind hearted soul. She was aware that working for Patton would be challenging, but she never let anyone hold her back, so she was ready for whatever came her way. She was confident that she would be an asset to his company, but she never expected to be so curious about him as a man, and not her boss. She wanted to know what motivated him to be so successful? Why was he so close to the other partners? What happened while they were in the war together? Rocky found it hard to concentrate on her work when her mind always wandered to thoughts of Patton in situations that were slightly inappropriate. She was determined to keep her relationship with Patton strictly professional, but sometimes what your mind wants is overruled by your heart.
A feisty, smart woman brings an alpha to heel in Boss of Me, and it’s so delicious! The chemistry between Patton & Raquel burns up the pages, and I loved their journey to HEA. Hot, sexy, and emotional, Tia Louise’s latest will make you swoon. Don’t miss it!
There is just something so naughty and titillating about an office romance. When your adoration flows towards your boss, there’s the natural power imbalance and the concern of how it will look to your coworkers. Raquel was dealing with all of that, plus she was warned not to fall for her boss. But who could realistically resist the power of Patton’s allure? I know I probably couldn’t and I think Tia Louise illustrated the inevitability of this couple perfectly! From their awkward moments to their insecurities to their worries about how it would look to others and how deep the other person’s affections went, I was absorbed with it all. Boss of Me had just the right amounts of angst and steaminess to keep it entertaining as I flipped through the pages and I found myself insanely intrigued by its side characters. If you’re looking for a sweet romance with a touch of drama, you’re in the right place.

Tia Louise has another hit on her hands with Boss of Me…trust me on this. She’s infused this hot and spicy enemies to lovers tale with the perfect amount of heart and emotion. It’s so so good!
Patton Fletcher is deliciously demanding and a bit rigid in more than one way. But he’s more than met his match in Raquel, the feisty new hire at his family’s corporate headquarters. I loved her dynamic personality and perseverance, and her unwaivering loyality. They’re stellar characters in a 5 star story you don’t want to miss!!
I really love a good office romance and this one did not disappoint. Feels and steam the best combo. Definitely a must read!
This was another fantastic emotional story about love, forgiveness, addiction, healing, betrayal, family drama, and of course hotness on a stick! These characters feel so real to me, what a great writer Tia Louise is. Her books are addicting in a good way….once you start reading them you can’t put it down
Patton Fletcher is a sexy devil. That’s what Raquel Morgan seems to think of her new boss on her first day of work. An ex military man who has taken over his father’s company, Patton is all about keeping his friends safe and making his business better than when his father ran it. What surprises him is the new girl that was hired without his knowledge. Raquel is smart and she surprises him at every turn. These two had a connection from the first time their eyes met and you could feel it throughout the book. Loved reading their story and can’t wait to read more about Talon.
Boss of Me was a sexy enemies-to-lovers/office romance.
Patton Fletcher was an intense, broody devil and I loved it. Raquel (Rocky) Morgan was a smart and spunky heroine with a backbone and I loved the fighter in her.
These two had great chemistry that sparked their attraction every time they were in the same room.
The slow-building mystery with a tinge of angst and drama coupled with the romance was beautiful.
Tia never ceases to amaze me with her books!!! As soon as you start reading you fall into the story and live there and you don’t want to come back out. And reading about Patton finally was no different. He comes across as such a butt and you don’t know whether to hate him or love him. But as soon as you get to know him and understand him all you want to do is cuddle him and love him. And that’s exactly what Rocky does, she’s a fighter and doesn’t take his bull and that’s something different for him. But there is a past with her sister that he is keeping from her and when she finds out will it tear them apart? Find out when you read this book. I highly highly recommend it. It is one of Tia’s best. And I love all of her book’s. This to me is one of the more emotional one’s she’s written. – By Tina
I love complicated heroes. It makes for a meatier end result. Let’s be real. Patton is more than a bit of a jerk, but his charm lies in understanding the reasons why. Louise delves deep into the layers that show him for the heartbroken man he truly is. Patton may seem like the devil, but he wears his heartache and guilt close to the vest. Raquel sees behind his suit of armor and crashes right into his soul, but she may lose her heart trying to save his. Boss of Me dares to be sexy, is not afraid of being bold and refuses to be brushed aside. Raquel and Patton are dangerously tempting romance.
Let’s face it. If someone tells you not to do something, don’t you feel like you must explore further because now you are interested?
Raquel was on her way to her first job after graduating from college. Same firm where her sister had worked and rather abruptly left. Now, with the wisdom of her sister, she is bound and determined to stay away as much as possible from her new boss, Patton.
Chemistry is hard to deny. One look at Patton and those Xrated thoughts and tingles were all over her. No matter how difficult Patton was, her innate fighting spirit would not let him get away with anything. Little did she know he felt the same way. After years trying to prove himself to others, Patton could feel the change in himself. Raquel was changing everything for him without even trying.
This is a wonderful and emotional love story with a touch of whimsy. Raquel is adorable (Rocky!) and determined. When two souls complete each other, there is no way to keep them apart.
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.
5 star Review Boss of Me by Tia Louise
There was nothing I didn’t love about Boss of Me. This was a great read and one of my favourite to date for 2019. One click this little gem, you won’t be disappointed.
Patton Fletcher, oh what a man, he’s brooding, an alpha and he ticked all the boxes for me; he is also someone who would drive me insane if I worked for him. Raquel (Rocky) Morgan is the perfect heroine for Patton, she is feisty, strong, sassy and not afraid to stand up to him when it is needed.
Ex Military along with his service brothers, Patton has taken over running his father’s company. They all struggle with PTSD from their last mission with each man having their own issues to face. Patton as the team leader, feels a great deal of responsibility for the mission and seems to have the weight of the world on his shoulders.
When Rocky joins the team, Patton has no idea how his life is about to change. Rocky is a firecracker and in my opinion just what Patton needed to bring him into the light again.
Throughout it all Tia Louise kept me absolutely on the edge of my seat as I read and cheered for Patton and Rocky to get their happily ever after. An entertaining read that was also smoking hot and certainly burned up the pages.
Such was the strength of the writing and the fabulous characters, I was so engrossed in Patton and Rocky’s story that before I knew it I had read until 3 am, I simply had to see how their story would play out.
There were plenty of swoon worthy moments throughout Boss of Me as well as some drama and angst. The trauma and drama that Patton and his men have been though was well written and added an additional layer to the story.
I do hope we get more from this group of characters in the not too distance future. Hint hint Ms. Louise.
What can I say? Tia Louise has outdone herself again. Boss of Me is simply incredible! Patton and Raquel aka Rocky have oodles and oodles of chemistry. They burned up the pages! Patton has so many scars from his military past and he feels like he let his guys down. Every decision he makes now is to better the lives of his guys. When Raquel is hired at his company, she sparked new life into Patton. She is a force, both smart and confident. Patton definitely met his match with her. There is just something so endearing with Raquel. And Patton…sigh! There is so much more to him than what he portrays on the outside! I truly loved this book and these characters!
Another one of a Tia’s arrogant, sexy, controlling alphas we fall in love with. And a feisty, independent heroine we all wish we were. Boss of Me is the perfect office love story. Who wouldn’t want Patton to be our Boss, all sexy in his tight fitting suit and a stare that get us all tongue twisted. What love story doesn’t have a rough start, finding trust and getting to know the person. Like any other relationship, there’s ups and downs. The question is how bad do you want it. Tia brings Patton and Rocky’s relationship to the pages and makes us feeling giddy and happy at the end…
Holy Hades! Patton Fletcher is one walking, talking, sexy devil of a man!
”They say the devil was heaven’s most beautiful angel. Patton Fletcher standing over me, looking down like he wants to devour me, is better than that.”
When Rocky receives a new job, her sister warns her about the man who will be her boss. Patton Fletcher is everything her sister said he would be…but more. Despite all his aggravating behaviors and treatment of her, she finds herself attracted to him.
Patton is trying to make up for mistakes in the past and in doing so he’s carrying the weight of the world on his shoulder. When Rocky walks into his life she brings light into his darkness and a smile to his lips.
”I like the way she looks at me, the way she challenges me and teases me. She’s playful and fun. She’s sunlight and fresh air. She makes me feel like for the first time in a long time I can let go and simply be.”
But his buddies are all struggling and he has to make things right. Unfortunately, with every step forward he seems to be pushed two steps back.
Rocky was a fun, sunny heroine who didn’t take life too seriously. At least she tried not to despite the heavy weight she carried on her shoulders. I loved that she was just as active in pursuing Patton as he was in pursuing her. The chemistry between these two was off the charts! I loved their beginning with their bickering and her always upping him in an argument. She did it with a smile and it drove him crazy, with desire.
Patton was the perfect aggravating boss. Until Rocky got a hold of his heart. Then he was all alpha, still bossy, and struggling to find a solution to win her. I loved that she softened him and gave him a place of peace. The fact that he listened to her, took her counsel, and conceded when she had done the right thing made me respect him.
I adored everything between these two characters. They had a quick banter, a lot of steam that demanded to be recognized, and the ability to open up to one another.
There was some angst that arose towards the end, and while I knew we’d get our happy ever after, I did worry what that was going to look like. This has a few twists – some I saw ahead of time and others caught me by surprise.
With a lightning fast pace and a story that was constantly moving forward, this kept me completely engaged from the very beginning. Secondary characters were not of just the lighthearted variety, introduced for levity, but actually added drama to the story. I’m hoping we’re going to get some of their stories as well. Fingers crossed!
Audio Review from December 2019
This story was great!! They were always enemies and they weren’t always lovers. They flitted in and out of each role.
They found love, they fought it, and then embraced it.
Teddy Hamilton is simply amazing.
Lucy still has some growing to do on her male voices but her performance was still great!
These two actors play off each other nicely.
Former marine- check
Broody, sexy hero- check

This book is the perfect receipt for an enemy to lovers story. The plot has a lot to keep the book interesting and keep readers awake at night. I’m glad to read one particular character is doing well, the author had me worried there for a moment. Another good book.
